Okay, giving this a try again. Hopefully it will post without error or loss of text.
I got an idea for a short story/comic mini-series to create. Although it's not a FFS:EC Story, it takes place in the FFS:EC universe, with the same general settings and magic physics. It's a MAGICAL GIRL story, starring three girls who discover they have magical powers and save the day from bad dudes. Think Sailor Moon combined with Magic Knight Rayearth and Powerpuff Girls, but hopefully it'll be a bit unique and entertaining. And funny.
The general plot is about three girls who go to an all-female private high school in Downtown Mobotropolis (in the EC universe, it's positoned somewhere between Castle Acorn and Mobotropolis Tech, the College S3 and Scud go to). They know about eachother although they don't know eachother, they're all in different social groups and rings of popularity. And, for some reason or another, they all have a "thing" against men. Something that causes them to not trust them. Eventually an event will happen that awakens magical powers and the ability to transform, and a bad guy with control over monsters will appear for them to fight. The theme is cute girls vs perverted bad boys.
The names, furry species, weapons, color themes, magic powers, and profile stats for the three girls are all still undetermined. I'll probally name and color the girls myself, but right now I really need to pick and choose some good species for the girls to be. Hedgehog/fox/echidna are way too generic. Elemental power is really important too. All FFS:EC characters have an elemental power, and it's the base for their magic (for example: S3 - Lightning, Rei - Earth, Lilith - Fire, Garret - Water, Ayita - Wind, Scud - Ice. Thoes are all the elements to choose from except for Holy and Dark, which are kind of rare, and Ultima, which is a mastering of all elements. Only multipotent beings like gods and goddesses have more than one element or Ultima).
So, basically what I'm asking you for is ideas for developing this story and chosing things for the characters. Here are some descriptions of the three main characters:
Girl 1: She's pretty much leader by default. She's got a powerful personality and logic-based inteligence (although it's not always used properly) and is good at making decisions and taking control. She is the kind of feminist who forgot what feminisim was supposed to be about. She hates guys and greatly mistrusts them, thinking they're all perverts who only associate with girls to get something out of them. She has to take public transportation from downtown to home every day (and from personal experience, I know is littered with pervy old guys), and decided to learn martial arts for self defence. Her hobbies include shopping for neat things to decorate her room with, and drawing cartoons.
Girl 2: The second girl is a loner and kind of a geek. She's booksmart, spending all of her time with her nose in a book or pressed against the computer screen. You'd think she was one of thoes crazy cram-school girls who spends all of her time studying, but in truth she's actually goofing off, reading fantasy fiction and playing on the internet. She has a photographic memory, but hides it from everyone so they wont send her off to a gifted school where she'll be given more schoolwork to do. Her problem with boys is incredible shyness. She can't ever speak to them properly in real life, and hides her pretty face behind a pair of thick geek-glasses. Online, she's pretended to be a guy for six years! Her hobbies are writing sci-fi fantasy stories and programing simple RPGs.
Girl 3: The third girl is a snob and the ultimate poser. Everyone she knows at school thinks she's rich, but in truth her parents are struggling to keep her in private school. She's very creative and resourceful, bargan hunting to find name brand clothes cheap and when all else fails, sewing her own imatations. She styles her own hair and does her own make-up to fake movie star beauty that makes her one of the most popular girls in school. Prehaps she'd be even more popular if she wasn't a poser, but it's really too late to quit now. Her thing with guys is that she likes to tease them and make them want her, while never choosing one. When she was younger she was dumped by her first boyfriend because he wasn't interested in her anymore. Since then, the story has evolved from a 2-week relationship to several years, and getting bored to lying, cheating, and manipulating. It's harder to get over it when she keeps making it worse. Her hobbies are bargan shopping and watching movies.
So, that's what i've got so far. A basic plot is taking shape. If you've got any ideas, post them here smile

I think I can add the XWilson touch to this little story here. ^_^; Not sure you'd want it, but I can give it a try. Hmmm.....so far, not bad. But they've got to find someone they can trust. Or better yet, someone that they learn to trust over time. Give me a bit and I'll develop this character for you, if you want.
