The manor was one of the largest in the area- not the actual home but rather the property around it. Plants exported from another realm decorated the main yard that lay inside a charming white fence, merely a fraction of the estate. Crawling plants covered every inch of the gate, spreading out into lush beds of such exotic plants as unicorn tears and dragonblossom trees, giving the entire area a rather thick natural perfume. A large pond fed by a small babbling waterfall glimmered from amongst the flowerbeds.

In one such bed a pair of pearly horns stuck themselves out from them, moving slowly and carefully through. Gillian smiled playfully, bending himself down in almost a prowling creep towards a small butterfly that had wondered into the yard. He'd never harm it- but it was tempting to try to catch the delicate creature.

Once again, one of Cameo's 'siblings' had been pushed into taking the little grape baby for a walk of fresh air, only, this time, it was not the little Julii who was the babysitter but, in fact, Nevenn. Coincidentally enough, 'Venn was the only member of the household who could find herself where she was now by mere accident. As she played with the tiny bows on Cameo's dress absent mindedly, she had, in fact, wandered onto another's property. Because she was unaware to where she was, it had not crossed her mind that she might have been trespassing or anything of that sort. Truthfully, she had not even realized she had wandered off the path until Cameo pulled insistantly on a lock of her deeply dyed hair.

"Sista, sista! Looook!" The hooved baby wiggled in her 'elder sister''s arms and pointed at the horns sticking from the flower bed with her free hand, the other still being buried tightly in Nevenn's hair. "Hoowns!"

Horns indeed. The cat-girl squatted close to the ground so she was almost level with the tops of the flowers in the indicated flowerbed. She blinked for a moment, and looked around at her surroundings, only to have her stomach drop. This place wasn't familiar. "Cameo, we better go, I haven't a clue where we are."

But it was too late, for Cameo had slipped from her arms and proceeded to crawl towards the flowerbed.

Gillian was a terribly small child. Having been composed of only half the normal ingrediants- he was only the half the size of a normal Sin'aesis child. His blending into the flowerbed was something that happened far more often than his guardian was comfortable with- but he was a clever child and knew better than to leave the yard without permission. Another russle could he heard up ahead, a rabbit most likely. He'd always seen them but never managed to catch them. Such cute creatures, they just had to be soft. "..Bunny..." he whispered, his long black and wait tail flicking behind him.

He paused as the russling got louder, smiling he jumped out towards the sound (the other child in this case), "IGOTCHABUNNIE!"

The flowers smelled pretty, Cameo realized distantly as she crawled closer, but she wanted to find what those horns belonged to more. Oooh, they looked quite intruiging, and her infant curiousity would not let her pass up this opportunity. She crawled closer, suppressing a giggle of excitement, and ignoring her sister's stiff warnings behind her. She crawled even closer, closer, she was really quite close now. A little closer...

... And she squeeked as the other baby collided with her. Nevenn's insticts kicked in, and she shot foreward, steading Cameo's back with a single hand.

Gillian was a little more than shocked to meet with another baby rather than a bunny- a very hard, larger baby. The boy bounced back on his rump, reaching up to check his horns. The first thing that came to mind was that he'd hurt something. They were terribly sharp, his pillows were always being stitched up and replaced thanks to one too many sharp turns during the night. Shaking himself off he looked over to the baby, his small hands rubbing at the black and white streaked hair, "...s...sorry... I... thought a bunny was...", he spoke oddly well for an infant, a bit scattered and slightly babbled, but it wasn't hard to understand him in the least.

Luckily, Cameo had not been harmed by the other baby's horns at all, and seemed, in fact, to be quite oblivious to the danger that the horns presented. Instead, she was beaming and rocking quite happily. "Sowwy." Cameo shook her head apologetically. "Ca-o is not bunny. Ca-o baby." She stated, touching the tips of her hooves and rocking still. "Yuu baby too."

Right behind her, Nevenn fidgeted nervously but quickly settled, plopping down on the grass. Well, what harm could it be to let Cameo socialize a bit, anyways?

Gillian nodded shortly, wrapping his tail around himself and fussing with the soft tip of it, "Yes, I am." He smiled sheepishly, looking over both that had come to his home. It was strange to see a baby of a different color- most of the others he'd seen had been slightly different from him in little features here and there, a slight change in complexion. He was terribly aware of colors- each shade, tone, and tint fascinated him, to see a child of different colors was quite a treat.

Cao? Did she mean to say 'cow' in reference to him or was 'Cao' her name. He didn't want to be rude, it might have been an introduction. She had said 'not a bunny- Cao', so it very well could have been her name.

Putting a hand on his chest and bowing his head a bit he introduced himself, "Gillian, thas my name."

Cameo stuck her tongue between her lips slightly as she digested this new name. "Giiilan. Gillan. Yuu, Gillan." Of course, she had left out that one "i", but she seemed pleased with herself nonetheless. "I, Ca-o." She pointed one finger to herself and clicked her hooves.

Sighing, Nevenn ran a hand through her hair. "Cameo, Ca-me-o. He is Gillian." The rest of the household and herself had decided not too long ago that, if she was so adamant in telling her name to every soul she met, she should at least pronounce it correctly, along with other words in her speech. Unfortnately, the infant hadn't taken kindly to their attempts at correcting her mis-speech.

Thankfully, however, Cameo seemed less stubborn today, and merely looked backwards at her elder sister and back at Gillian, before re-stating, "Cammo. I, Cammo. Yuu, Gill-yan."

Well, it was a step foreward, anyways.

He chuckled a bit, "Cameo." Nodding his head he digested the new name. He'd not forget this name easily- such a charming purple color- and an event he would certainly have to live down. It did sound like something ab it larger than a rabbit...

"Shorter name is Gil." He said with an attempt to be a bit more helpful, "Taking is... diff...fi....hard." Obviously, at least during this stage of life, "Easy to make long short words." It was as close to the correct explanation as he'd get for the moment, "This is my home." He gestured back to the house, "I live wif Gabe."

"Gil." Cameo giggled lightly and tipped to the side a bit as she clicked her hooves. "Nis naym." Her face glowed with obvious happiness as she tilted to the other side. "Yesth, takking isth haard." The fact that the other baby clearly spoke better did not register in her infant mind, but it was hardly something that mattered at the moment anyways. "BiBi an Uhuh HiHi an big sista 'En an Muma ar twying to help me takk betta."

She hummed a bit at Gillian's last statement, looking around her distantly. "Yuu hom? It vewy pwetty, Gil." Clicking her hooves again, she smiled brightly. "Lotsa flowas. Pwetty flowas. I lyk pwetty flowas. They pwetty." Cameo giggled again, oblivious to the repeatedness of her statement. "Yuu an - an -" She scrunched up her face, attempting to pronounce the other name, "Gayb. Yuu an Gayb luky to wiv here."

He chuckled, looking down at her hooves, they amused him greatly but he felt it might be rude to complement them. It was so hard to tell which features made the others uncomfortable or not. "Gabe makes them grow." He smiled a bit more, remembering that he had helped plant them, "Seed in the ground, comes up, n' grows to flower."

His expression sank a bit as he turned shortly towards a large mound of dirt by an old tree. "...my hor...howse is in the ground. Yuki says she will be flowers too."

"Seed in da grouwnd 'come flowwa..." Cameo hummed thoughtfully, playing with the grass between her fingers best her infant hands could. "An howse 'come flowwa too..." Unconsiously, she clicked her hooves again. "So~ howse isth a seed to mayke flowwas gwow?" But weren't horses animals? That princes rode to save princesses locked in high towers? Or cast in deep sleeps in a castle surrounded by thorns? She hadn't heard about horses making flowers in any of those stories! Maybe it was a magic horse? It was possible, at least in her baby sized mind.

Yet... as Cameo examined Gillian's fallen expression, something didn't fit together. Grunting lightly, she shifted herself onto all fours and crawled a little closer to Gillian. "Why yuu howse in da gwound?" She asked as she settled herself on the grass again. "'She wanna ma'e flowwas gwow pwetty too?"

Gillian looked down slowly. No, she wasn't a seed. Seeds started out very, very small and they weren't exactally able to move on their own. "She stopped moving." He said quietly, stroking a flower's petals lightly with the tips of his fingers, "I woke up becaus...e...of noises outside. Gabe went to see- a wolf he said, red one, came in and made her not move no more." He wiped something from his eye, looking over to the purple baby. "Then he put her in the ground. Yuki said she'd make flowers now."

Cameo, being an infant, had no comprehension of what really had happened, and couldn't truly sympathize with the other child. However, she could tell that Gillian had cared for his horse. "I thin' she'll mayk pwetty flowwas, Gil." She said positively, pressing her pink fingers together thoughtfully. "Weally pwetty flowwas."

He smiled softly, nodding. She would indeed. She had been a beautiful horse in his opinion. Spotted almost like a fine dairy cow- very appropreate for the milk-born child. He often boasted about how she matched his tail, how he'd be able to ride her forever and ever when they both got big enough. It was so strange to think she was really gone, something he still couldn't quite understand.

Desperate to keep from the depressing subject, Gillian turned back to Cameo, standing himself up on his feet, "Do you want to play?"
