Wandering alone in the daylight, away from his love, he needed some time to think. He had recently learned that his second-favorite young mare was romantically involved with some stallion he had never met. She had told him herself, had sought him out to give him the news. He couldn't say that he was entirely pleased. He had watched over her ever since she was a filly...and as such, felt very protective of her. She could not be allowed to come to harm, and he worried whether or not her love would be true to her.
He also wondered if this stallion was entirely worthy of Nakia's love. If this stallion was not brave of heart, strong enough to match the strength of Nakia's spirit, then she was loving one beneath her...and that was completely unacceptable. Cobalt frowned, his brows furrowing. He wanted to meet the stallion lucky enough to capture Nakia's heart.
Interrogation was an acceptable thing to do in this situation, wasn't it?
Even if not, Cobalt had already determined to fully question her suitor. Nakia was, after all, the first one to break through his darkness, the first one he called "friend." She deserved nothing but the best. He would find out if this stallion was worthy. For her sake.

Just being himself, Dinyin laid not too far by a berry bush. His eyes captured on one of those vibrant fruits. He was hungry, but not so much to the point where he would lift himself up and drag himself all the way there to snatch a few. Yawning, he could feel the breeze slide and curve around his uneven body. It was another beautiful day, a few clouds and a few leaves hitting the earthy ground. Fall was soon to come from what he saw and he knew that a special event had always happend when fall came. Two-leggers often had many beautiful events. Dinyin felt and heard his stomache growling, this noise did not add up to his peaceful feel and scenery. To correct it, he must go find food. Food was right in front of him. Dinyin pulled himself together and gently lifted himself, took slow steps towards the bush and started his way on them berries. Stopping halfway to yawn again and then continue to eat. He was only yawning so much because a nap occured a few minutes ago. Nakia had not been on his mind lately, but he truly did feel for her. He knew that their relationship was just starting, and for that he can not call what they have 'love'. It was too soon, he learnt that from his aunt. To not trust anyone so easily or fall for one so quickly. Dinyin couldn't help but fall head over hooves for the silver wind mare. She was beautiful on the outside and so much more on the inside. The way she was captured him. He did not know all about her, but he has tried to get to know her. His attempt was rather creepy, stalking.
The wind carried many noise with itself. Dinyin could hear the whistling of the unsettled air through the tree branches. Swirling around each twig that was attached to a branch. The air also carried an unfamiliar scent, one hes never met but was lively. Coming this way? Dinyin wasnt sure nor did he care. Just leave him to his berries. He wasnt not in the mood to meet someone, however. Some small talk may help him wake up. Only about three to four berries were left on the bush, Dinyin felt somewhat guilty and stopped picking them off the poor plant. He smiled and licked the areas around his lips. To clense them from cherry juice. It wasnt too fabulous greeting someone wearing hideous bright red around the lips. He yawned and turned towards where the wind was coming from. The path was what he spotted and saw, perhaps this other one was heading this way after all.

Cobalt walked down the path, too deep in thought to care whether or not he was plainly visible to the world. He stumbled out into a small clearing, where he found a brown, earthy-colored stallion standing by a battered-looking bush. Blinking in surprise, he shuffled his wings nervously and flashed an awkward smile. "Um...hello."
Cobalt wondered who this stallion was. He had certainly never met him before. Cobalt wondered if this stallion would be like the others...if he would turn and run away from the "scary Kalona." Psh. A grin tugged at the corners of Cobalt's mouth. So be it. It wasn't like it hadn't happened before. He was used to it. If he ran, then Cobalt would just return to what he was doing before. He would continue his walk, and think about how to go about finding Nakia's suitor and interrogating him...because surely there had to be some way to find him, after all.
