Day One of Mapling: Created Merro with the intention of helping Emi move items around and then quitting Maple Story forever, but was hooked immediately by the cuteness. Curse my weakness.
Dashed through the floating island as quickly as I could, and then spent the next hour taxi-ing all over Victoria Island, so right now I'm as clueless and lost as any newbie can be. I spent most of my experience points in equalizing and raising my stats. I'm at 10/10/7/7, with 109 HP and something like 38 MP. I guess I'll hit the road and bash snails while figuring out whether I want to be a magician or a warrior. *heh*
Current Inventory (as best I can remember):
A few snail shells in blue, green, and red.
One mushroom spore.
One tank top (m).
A few thousand mesos.

Day Two of Mapling: Emi took Ellie, Chris, and I levelling. ^^ Am now level 7. *squee* Emi also gave me massive amounts of gifts. *supa-squee*
This place is just so cute. I saw an NPC named Arwen the Fairy. *hee* I love how you can lie on the ground and still stab at enemies.
Current Inventory (as best I can remember):
Snail shells, mushroom spores, and barrels of arrows.
A bunch of Christmas ornaments from Emi. heart
A bunch of red, orange, and white potions from Emi. heart

Day Three of Mapling: Dangit...Emi told us that stats needed to be distributed in specific ways in order to qualify for different first level jobs. ^^; I spread out all of my points already in a very generic way, and it'll take me a lot of time to rack up enough new points to get to where I need to be, so I'm going to use Merro as my mule, and create a new character to use as my main.
I'm thinking Warrior, with the goal to end up being a Paladin. X3 That just sounds cool...Paladin.

Days Three, Four, and Five of Mapling: Spent most of the weekend partying at Pig Beach. Have upgraded from clinging to the start platform for fear of my life to being able to tank on pigs myself. *woot* Am now a level 15 Warrior, and have successfully completed the Blackbull's House quest. Thanks to Sawney for sharing some leaves with me. \^^/ Have lost track of all the richness Emi has given me. *_*
I sold off pretty much everything except for the good equipment, use-able items, ores, monster cards, omok pieces, and leaves. It turns out that Green Mushroom Tops and Pig Ribbons are a quest-collect item, dangit. XD I should've kept them. Looks like I'll be spending more time near E and in Pig Beach.
To Do: Go talk to Maya in Henesys now that I qualify to start her quest. I qualify for Luke's quest also, but the last time I tried to kill a Jr. Necki, I couldn't even hit it for 1 damage. o_O; Not sure how I'm supposed to collect 100 Jr. Necki Skins.
Notes to self: Sawney needs to collect Leathers so that he can have something made in E.

Miriam is going to hunt Jr. Necki Skins for me so that I can complete Luke's quest. heart Now I just need to hunt Stirges and go buy a Salad at the food van in the Ant Tunnel.
Also, I've found that using Merro as my mule just won't work, since I can't log in as her and Merichan at the same time, being that they're on the same account. ^^; I think I'll make another account and use that as my mule. I'll create a new character, and then use the laptop and PC to log in both the new mule and Merro at the same time. I can transfer all the items, delete Merro, log in Merichan, and then transfer more items. Yay for plans~

Day Six of Mapling: Miriam sold me 100 Jr. Necki Skins. heart I checked stats on Stirges though, and apparently you need stupid-DEX in order to hit them. D'oh. I really want to complete that lost kid quest. Earrings! *squee*
I created a separate account and then created a new mule. What I think I'll end up doing though is keeping Merro as the real mule, and just use Losan as a secondary account and mobile mule. For instance, I can use Losan to go get me more potions if I run out while I'm at Pig Beach. Merro, however, will just sit tight at Lith Harbor all the time and hold onto my ores and ornaments. I guess Losan will be my mule, and Merro will be my closet. XD
After transferring items around, I took Merichan and Losan to Pig Beach. Losan just stood on the ledge while I pummelled pigs with Merichan. I got him up to level 8. *hee* Merichan is level 17 now, and I can actually solo her in the pit of Pigs. I'm so happy. T__T I have enough Pig Ribbons now though, so I think I'll switch over to near Ellinia in order to collect Green Mushroom Tops.

Day Seven of Mapling: Gave Sawney 100 Pig Ribbons for his quest. ^^ I now have enough Green Mushroom Tops for a future quest, so now I have to decide what to collect next. Octopus Legs, perhaps. Apparently I've been strong enough to take them for a few levels, but they just looked so strange that I avoided them like the plague. XD
At level 9, I suddenly decided that Losan should be a magician and someday a Cleric. Alas for that lost level. Oh well. *shrug*
I forgot to Fame Pook yesterday, and then I didn't see anyone else except for Chris and Emi, whom I've Famed already.

Day Eight of Mapling: Miriam gave me almost everything I needed in order to complete two quests last night. XD I needed one Salad, and I knew that it was in a van-vend inside the Ant Tunnel section of the Dungeon. I went to the Dungeon from Henesys and ended up coming out on the Perion side. Got run over by a Fire Boar and quickly scooted back inside. Wandered around again and popped out on the Kerning Side. Took one look at the Something Eyes and ran back inside. Wandered around some more and ended up in Sleepywood.
There, a Magician named Nephsith or something like that kindly told me how to get to Ant Tunnel, but then told me that I'd never survive long enough to get to the 24 Hour Van. ^^; She said that she just barely made it with her level 25 Warrior. *meep* She logged in her Warrior Howie and gave me a salad. She asked nothing in return except that I be kind to others. I promised to pass her kindness on. Gotta Fame her if I ever run into her again. heart
I've now completed Maya and Luke's quests. Now all I have to do is John's jumping quest (thank goodness for the training we did with Emi at the pet park) and I'm done until I hit level 20. I can't wait to do the Runaway quest. Earrings! *squee*
I have two Slime and five Octopus Omok pieces. I haven't gotten any Mushroom pieces yet though. Maybe I should go back to the Henesys area. I could have Losan linger on the ground level while I bash Mushrooms and Slimes on the upper levels. I don't know if it's just luck or whether Slimes just don't drop many Omok pieces, but I've only got two Slime pieces for all the hundreds of Slimes I've killed, and I got five Octopus pieces after killing less than twenty Octopi. o_O

To Do Tonight: Level. XD I'll probably take Merichan and Losan to Pig Beach to party together. I'll send Merichan to the Pig platform and let her go wild until her HP goes down. Then I'll put her on a rope and send Losan to the Red Snail platform. As soon as Merichan is healed up (yay Endure!), I'll put Losan on the portal platform so he'll be safe while I slaughter piggies again.
I don't think I'll bother about collecting Omok stuff since minigames aren't even implemented yet. John's quest can also wait, since I'm not really dying to get Screws. *lol* My main goal is to get to level 20 and be strong enough to collect Evil Eye Tails so that I can complete the quest that gives you earrings. I don't even care what earrings I get. I just want a pair. heart
