In a hallway that runs along one of the walls to the kitchen, there is a secret panel that pulls away to reveal what used to be the ledge that cooling pies, cookies and other goodies were placed on.

Church Historians theorize that the Confectional Booth initially was a secret compartment built by a Modist. A false wall hid the lurking Modist from view of the kitchen, enabling them to slide the partition away, lift a goodie or three, and replace the wall while no one was looking. They were able to hide in the small booth, consume their ill gotten goodies, then appear in the hallway without ever being seen in the location of the stolen treats.

No one is quite sure who masterminded this ambitious construction. ninja

However- The Confection Booth has adapted since it's use in the Early Church. It is now a place where Saints listen to the sweet bits of gossip shortcomings of other Modists, offer advice, prescribe meditation and, by the grace of Mod, grant absolution.

In short- when you feel you have been particularly unModly, you might as well share it and let the rest of us in on the laugh.
