 Peace was sitting under a tree on a blanket. She had her front paws up with then in little circles. Peace's eyes were closed but her ears were open. So was her mind for that point. "Om...Om...Om..."

 Nereus was beat. Completely exhausted. He slowly dragged himself over the next hill, hoping to find a nice shady place to rest soon. He had been doing stunts since early morning and it had taken a lot out of him.

Peace heard something. She opened one eye to spy an adult male. She closed her eye again and went back to chanting. She wasnt' sure he would want to join her so she'd just wait and see if he came over to her.

Nereus blinked lazily, thinking his eyes had decieved him. He thought he saw a rainbow of colors sitting a ways off. Surely it was his mind playing crazy tricks on him. He blinked again and shook his head, but the shape didn't go away. He picked up his pace despite his lack of energy and made his way over to what he could now see was a female Namir.
"Heya," he tried to sound enthusiastic as he called out to her.

Peace opened both her eyes this time. No point in meditating when someone was talking to her. "Well, hello. What a groovy day it is, right man?" She told him with a wave of her paw. "They call me Peace. What name was placed on you?"

Nereus panted before he could get out his name. "Ner...eus," he said softly. He wondered about her strange speech, but decided that he kind of liked it. He laid down with a huff and looked up at her.

"Ner Eus? Alright, man. That's a groovy name. What brings you to my meditating spot, brother?" Peace asked as she watched him lay down. "Maybe you need some inner peace? Or maybe just a rest, man?"

Nereus sighed lightly as he began to catch his breath more. "Rest sounds great. But what's that about inner peace? I didn't realize my insides were at war or something."

"Oh, they are man, they are. Totally. Everything you see, hear and do go inside you and then they conflict begins." Peace told him with a straight face. She wasn't kidding she really belived it.

"Wow, that sounds major. Some crazy stuff. So how do I fix all that and get in..uh innerd peace?" Nereus rolled over onto his back, kicking his feet in the air.

"Okay, man. Do what I do, you dig? Just sit back and close your eyes. Take a big breath and then let it out. Take in all the pure goodness and then let out all the badness. Then you will be grooving with the universe." Peace then showed him what she mean.

Nereus watched her and then nodded. "Right then." He took a deep breath and let it out. He slowly closed his eyes and took another breath, deeper this time. he let it out slowly, feeling like he was falling asleep.

"You got it man." Peace whispered. She then closed her eyes again and began to drift back into her happy calming place. It was filled with colors, flowers and happiness. Just like the world she knew existed out there somewhere.

Nereus continued to breathe slowly with his eyes closed, concentrating on nothing in particular. He soon started losing consciousness. He tried to open his mouth to say something, but found he was way to relaxed to end the feeling and couldn't move.

After a few moments Peace finally came back to a conscious state. She looked over to her companion, which she had forgotten about. He looked like he was doing well. She didn't want to wake him.
