It was the wee hours of the morning when the group slipped into the cloisters of the church with their gear. In the dark the mastermind of the project when over the checklist as individuals gathered the materials. Twelve Bubble Gum Filled Bananas- check. The crate with their precious cargo- check. Speakers and a sound system that can wake the dead- check. And the contingency plan- a piece of paper that was carefully folded into an envelope in her right pocket- check. The shadowy figures set up the speakers. Others took single bananas and dragged them along the floor from the crate to the hiding places. Detailed planning had gone into ensuring that these hiding places where located strategically near the entrances to certain rooms of Modists who lived on site. At O’Two hundred hours and forty-two minutes the plan when into action. The music system kicked on blasting the initial baseline. And the crate was opened!

Over two dozen hungry monkeys were let loose on the unsuspecting Modists who came out of their rooms to see what the source of the loud music was as the shadowy figures hid, having washed up so as to not lead the monkeys back to their hiding place!

"What the bloody hell is that racket?" asked William as he stumbled into the room.
Since he normally slept as a fox, at the moment he was dressed in wrinkled pants, his trademark coat, and nothing else. He was just about to go back and fetch his sword when he was sent sprawling to the floor by an irate monkey.
"What the - What are monkeys doin' in..." the Kitsune started just before another monkey cut him off with a well timed bounce on his head.

She giggled quietly as she watched the simian trouble makers dart this way and that, latching onto Bananas stuffed with bubble gum!
Monkey + Bubble Gum (a la Morgandria's idea) = TROUBLE!

Alexi had been sleeping soundly, rather calm, when a banana slipped under his door, half-eaten. The baseline had hardly woken him, but when the creature began reaching for the food, it was bumping against the door. With the precious treat so nearly within reach, it began slamming itself against the door, causing Alexi to sit bolt upright. At the movement inside, the hand retracted, leaving Alexi to creep to his door, and open it slowly. When he did so, three monkeys flew past him into the room, fighting for the banana which, sadly, was filled with gum. Spewing the gunk all over, they chewed and fought of it, causing Alexi to have to flee his own room as they trashed the place. And so, he fled, wearing only simple black boxers and his signature lunar cloak.

She would have made a cat call if she weren't hiding.
The monkeys continue to pounce this way and that as the conspirators watch from their hiding places.
... Who will be the next victim?

Icy had been visiting overnight with some friends when she suddenly heard the music.
huh... this place has become at lot more. . . . festive since the last time I visited...
When the music didn't stop, she figured she would go see who was playing it. Slipping into her seals and grabbing the teddy bear she was cuddling with before the rude awakening, she walked over to the door.
Seconds after opening it and seeing monkies all over the place, a single monkey dropped onto her, covering her eyes. The bear gave a soft squeak when it hit the floor, as Icy herself was speechless.

Mory practically sleepwalks into the room, saint's wings drooping tiredly over the back of her silk nightie. She rubs at one eye.
"...whose radio is that? It's two in the---
*splat*
"---ehhh?"
Dazed, she looks up at the pink gooey substance slowly oozing down her hair, and up further at the giggling baby monkey hanging from the ceiling, who had dropped the bubble gum on her head in the first place.
"...eeeeee...it's in my featheeers... cry "

Icy spins around at the sound of Mory's voice. Almost, but not quite, throwing off the little bugger.
"Morychan? Is that you? What's going on?!"

Woken from dreams of kitsune, chocolate, and ponies, Gin stumbles towards the sounds of commotion. Fingering sleep-tousled hair, she pauses to stare blankly about at the multitude of maniacal monkeys.
"Either my scarf's too tight or somebody's got a direct line to the Monkey King."
She paused in rubbing one eye with a metallic-skinned hand, following the barely black-clad figure of Alexi across her field of vision from the other.
"Who, what, when, where, why, how hard, and who supplied the bananas?"

Mory blinks slowly at Icy. Not even primate pandemonium seems to be able to fully wake her up. She mumbles an answer.
"...bubblegum...?"
Her attempt at pulling the gum off her head only succeeds in getting a hand stuck to her left headwing.

Icy attempts to stumble towards Mory only to fall flat on her face. As a result, the monkey jumped off, allowing Icy to finally see what was going on.
"Oh Mory, don't touch that. Mods, that's going to be a pain to clean!"

Before there was even a hope of getting an answer to her question, Gin felt an odd furry length twine about one metallic arm. Pausing in her eyerub, she glanced down to see one of the monkeys dangling from the limb.
Gin looked down at the monkey. The monkey looked back up at Gin.
Gin: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Monkey: "EEEEEEEEEEEK EEK EEEEEEEEK!"
