ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi, everyone! I wanted you all to know what's happening with the Incubator.
For a while now, the Lair's Incubator was been a very active thread in the Clickables and Creatures subforum. So much so that I saw two problems happening. First, the Incubator had outgrown its subforum status. Second, the Incubator was causing the guild as a whole to be less active.
After several PMs between myself and Ddraig, I decided to create a sister guild for the Incubator and other breedables/adoptables. I present to you all ...
This new guild has both the Incubator and Infirmary, as well as subforums for Valenth, unicreatures, Dragon Adopters, Global PokedeX Plus (pokemon), Komuri Pets, Arvyre, and Mini-Cities.
I will continue to oversee the Lair's Incubator through the month of April. This will allow for Beady to find someone to take my place and will create a smooth transition for both guilds. All the members currently in the Lair's Incubator will be sent invites to join The Dragons Keep. Having two places for folks to post their eggs will be a win-win for everyone!
My thanks to Ddraig, Aldora and Robynn, for their support in this decision and I look forward to continuing to help everyone with their dragons and other babies!

As with the old Incubator, post your dragons here using either the tiny url codes or the BBCodes. And, of course, feel free to chat as long as you abide by Gaia's TOS rules and play nice with each other. We're here to have fun, make friends and raise dragons.

... The Infirmary for those eggs and hatchlings needing special attention (ones under the 3 day and 23 hours mark). We try to update the Infirmary at least once a day and offer "dragon walking" to help those needy ones. If you want to be a "Dragon Walker," contact one of the mods for more info.
... The Incubator for scrolls, eggs and hatchlings. This shows the active members and their dragons. We do allow you to post your friends' (non-guild members) scrolls, eggs and hatchlings. You can also post your friends' dragons along with your own (designated as "dragon-sitting" eggs/hatchlings).
... Inactive scrolls for those guild members who currently don't have any new dragons (usually because of RL interferences). It's merely a holding area until they acquire new eggs and then they are moved back into the Incubator.
... Incubator statistics which are done monthly to record how successful we are with getting our eggs to mature.
... Top Ten Breeders of January 2009 to see who were busy little keepers.
... Top Breeders of 2009 which features the top breeder of each month.
... Our Christmas 2008 Tree Farm to see who got "Leetle Trees" during the holiday season.
... Reserved posts so we can continue to grow.

Welcome to the NEW Incubator!
Surrogate/ dragon-sitting policy: In light of the "surrogates" controversy buzzing around the DC Forum and DC Guild and to avoid anyone's scrolls being burned, we will only post other people's dragons with your scroll as "dragon-sitting with permission" ONLY after getting their permission to do so.
This means if you have bred extra eggs or have abandoned any eggs and/or hatchlings, you must obtain the new parents' permission to act as a dragon-sitter to those eggs and/or hatchlings before submitting their codes to the Incubator.
This should cover any doubts anyone would have on our surrogate/ dragon-sitting program here in the Incubator.

Multiple Dragon Cave accounts policy: We abide by the TOS of the Dragon Cave. Therefore, no multi-accounts are allowed in the Incubator.
