This room is of course exclusive to Miss Annabelle Souris, Principal Teacher at the Grove Academy.

The room is of a light wood, and full of light itself. There are bookshelves in practically every nook and cranny, filled with both ancient and modern tomes as well as the occasional trinket she acquired from a far-off land. On the windowsill, there are small potted plants that she loves and which grow almost wildly off of it.
The opening doors lead into a modest patio area where she has a small hammock setup along with more pots of flowers for all seasons. This is a very enchanting area.

Anna opened the door to her room after a precarious balancing act involving a potted plant, three novels, and a handbag. Her keys were still in the open door as she fumbled about in the dark for a light switch. "There!" Her shoulder served as the proper tool as she pulled upwards against the wall, snagging it on her sweater and sending the room into illumination. It wasn't home just yet, but it would be in time.
Still moving carefully, Anna placed the lily away from the cool windows and dropped the books carefully on her bed. She had to take a moment to think, and as she did, found solace just by staring out the window.
The night outside her doors seemed so peaceful, as it had been when she was with Pyralis. Remembering everything that had transpired gave her the worst butterflies in her stomach, and yet it also felt like a shock through her heart. She cherished both feelings, wanting them to remain with her always. Her last relationship, which had gone terribly wrong, had once given her the same sensations, and yet not at all. Pyralis seemed to be made of the same material as she in some ways, already making her feel as if she had known him for centuries. His warmth, his voice, his kiss, it all made her feel like she belonged to both him and the world.
All those dreams I've had, all those hopes, are finally becoming real. It all made her blush, even though she was alone. Pyralis... will he give me a happily ever after?
Anna pulled her eyes away from the windows and to the open door. She walked soundlessly to it, closed it, and went to sleep. Though, sleep didn't come very swiftly.

It was morning before Anna knew it. Having a terrible night from dreams and a sudden loneliness, she couldn't bring herself to get out of bed quite as early as she had liked. Regardless, Anna pulled herself away from the covers with a trained self-control and floated off to her small kitchen area to make herself some coffee.
With her small mug in hand along with a small book, a personal favorite, she headed out into the morning mist to watch the sunrise. Her hammock was sturdy and white, taking up at least half of the patio, but it was a gift from her grandfather. She couldn't have left home without it.
As the sun rose, her eyelids closed once more. There Anna stayed in her hammock, all wrapped up in a light blanket. Her features were absolutely peaceful in the morning sun, which also gave her little copy of Winnie the Pooh a slight sheen. Whether Miss Annabelle Souris was a creator of enchantment or a mere amplifier of it, no one could quite place.

Having been up for quite some time now, Pyralis walked down the hall slowly to Anna's room. Would it be wrong to call on her so early? Well, it wasn't exactly that early, just still morning hours. Surely she'd be up?
A light knocking on her door...no response. A bit louder this time...and nothing.
For a moment, the man closed his eyes. Yes, she had to be inside. From their connection last night, he was able to feel her presence. She was inside, but unaware or responsive. For a moment, panic gripped him, but it was brought quickly under control. This was a highly guarded school. No harm would befall his dear Anna. Breathing much too evenly with a face that matched, he knocked again, and with no response, went into her room. The door hadn't been locked. Red eyes quickly scanned the room, decided she wasn't there, and began their search again as the man took the few long strides that led him out to the patio.
His breath came out in a release, but quietly. There she was. His darling elf asleep in a hamock. God she was beautiful. The morning light cast her whole being in a halo. How had he come to this? Fierce emotions were a whirlwind inside; so explosive they had to be always in check. "You will be the undoing of me woman." The words came out in barely a whisper, not to touch the elf's ears. Pyralis wouldn't bear waking her, so instead he sat on a small chair in the corner of the patio. His red eyes never left her, watching the morning light dance in her hair as she slept. For this moment, the man was a perfect picture of the old fashioned men in Anna's books. A simple white button-up shirt, black slacks, and his hair fastened back in a leather thong. Only his red eyes and facial markings distorted the picture.

Anna had a brief dream filled with all sorts of stories before her sleep ended. She had a lovely ability to wake up slow, no matter what the occasion, and so did not open her eyes until she had adjusted herself a bit in her hammock. The air was so lovely, the lighting so gentle... There was still the familiar shape of her little treasure under her arm, the curve of the pillow beneath her head... but there was a different feeling, a presence. And a familiar one at that.
Eyes the shade of a mourning dove opened, but before she could pinpoint the person, Anna's thoughts registered that she had fallen asleep for quite some time. "Oh!" she exclaimed as she brought herself to an upright position. What time was it? She wasn't even ready to receive students! Anna was only half-dressed, still in her pajama bottoms, not to mention her hair was still in tangles. In her tizzy, Anna swung her legs over the side of the hammock as she tried to pull the blanket off, but all her movement stopped dead when she saw Pyralis sitting in the chair.
At first she just stared as if she had been caught during a crime, but the familiar blush soon followed like clockwork. "Pyralis!" she said, half-shocked, half-laughing. "Goodness, am I that late that you had to come see if something was wrong?" Anna successfully freed herself from her twisted blanket, unknowingly sending her book in a topple. A page or two freed themselves from the binding, fluttering to the thankfully dry pavement below.

So peaceful...and then she woke up. A deep, cheerful chuckle filled the air. Yes, now there was the Anna he was coming to know and love. Ah, and there was that unresistable blush. "I only wished to see you again my dear and wish you a good morning." Eyes lingering on her, they finally registered the book on the floor.
With a swift movement, the book and pages were picked up and righted once more. The cover gleamed up at him. "Winnie the Pooh?" Pyralis cocked and eyebrow, but then grinned, handing the book back to the owner. "Something I think I should not be supprised at." This woman had such a childish nature sometimes, but that was what drew so many to her. It was far from a fault.
"As to the time," A silver pocket watch was pulled out and examied before being hid away again. "I wouldn't call you late, but let's assume you should be getting ready." Perhaps he should have woke her when he first arrived, but Pyralis had enjoyed just watching her sleep. "Surely someone who looked so enchanting as they slept is fully rested?" Afterall, the morning sun was in the shift to an afternoon warmth.

"I had the same plans for you, but I fell asleep once more," said Anna with a tinge of guilt in her voice. Though once she saw Pyralis collecting pages, that guilt transferred over to her book. "Oh goodness, what happened here?" As he passed the book back to her, she grinned at his comment while assessing the damage.
"Yes, yes, an old friend of mine. One I should have had rebound when I was in London. Goodness, what pages fell out this time?" Anna turned over the book in her careful hands as if it was a fallen bird. "Poor thing."
As Anna went through the doors to her room, she had to giggle at Pyralis' compliment wrapped in a question. "Yes, I am indeed fully rested. It won't take me but a few minutes to get ready." She picked up the dress she had left spread on her traveling trunk and headed for the bathroom. Before closing the door, Anna called out to him. "There's a bit of coffee left in the pot, if you'd like. And feel free to take a scone or a bagel from the little stash in the cupboard right above the microwave!"
Anna closed the door, and proceeded to wash her face and such. Once she was dressed, she looked at herself in the mirror. "Now," she said, in a very quiet voice. "We're going to have a lovely day filled with greeting students and helping them in whatever way we can. Not to mention cherishing the presence of all we come in contact with..." It was something like a self-motivational run she gave herself every morning. Her grandfather taught it to her, even made her do it, after her terrible break-up. Now, it was a bit of a habit, and not one that she regretted.

Pyralis made himself comfortable in an armchair, not wanting anything to eat or drink. Satisfying his hunger had been earlier this morning, with an untold number of eggs and pounds of bacon.
Patiently, the man waited for Anna to come out of the bathroom.

Anna emerged from the bathroom in a grey dress which was placed over a white blouse with large, almost puffed sleeves. Her hair was pulled half up with a matching ribbon, while her professional black flat shoes gleamed. Anna was ready for a day of being peppered with questions, pamphlets and keys.
She glided over to Pyralis with her usual sweet smile in her eyes and heart. "You look dashing today," Anna said, taking note of his appearance. "Are you ready to be a part of our little academic family?" As she posed the question, she bent down to take his hands in hers. Although they had definitely made quite the undeniable connection, Anna was still shy around this handsome man.

He smiled a charming smile reserved just for her. "Aye my dear Anna, the day awaits. I have an office to set up and you have students to greet." Standing, he squeezed her hand lightly. "To your office first and then I'll depart to mine." Pyralis wanted to at least walk this beautiful woman to her office before having to leave her side.
The two started towards the door, but the man suddenly stopped and turned to the elf. A smile on his face, he leaned down and spoke in a matter of fact tone. "I never got to say a proper good morning." His lips were suddenly on hers. Strong arms embraced the slender woman before releasing her again, a fire in his eyes. "Good morning."

"Good morning..." she said, breathless. Anna caressed his cheek while looking into his hypnotically beautiful eyes. "I hope to get such a wonderful greeting every morning, now that you're staying with us." She wouldn't dare move away from his warm embrace until she absolutely had to.

"Many to come, I promise." Smiling, he held her to him for several moments, just enjoying the closeness. Then it was with great reluctance that he released her, taking her by the hand once more. They would have to get to work so that this could keep up. How terrible it would be to get fired not even a day later. "Let us be off." Pyralis opened the door and led Anna out, closing the door behind her before they set off down the hallway.

Anna and Pyralis arrived back at the Chateau in new spirits after their adventures in the Other Realm. Anna, despite her chill, was all aglow. "I suppose this is good night, my dear," she said as they stood in front of the door.

"Yes, I would suppose so as well." He kissed her goodnight, and pulling back, grinned. "Good night dear Anna." Pyralis was actually looking forward to a goog night's sleep. A certain someone would no doubt be in his dreams.

Anna smiled and brushed her fingers against his cheek before retreating behind closed doors for the night.
As soon as she was dressed in her night clothes, she danced around her room like a fae. How could she sleep after such a day? She was loved! Loved by a dragon, who would always be faithful to her, who would always be there to protect her until his fire died. How in the world could she sleep right away?
Not to mention with every dancing step, she tried to recapture the thrill of the flight. What a magnificent day it had been... and to think, her parents and family knew nothing of this grand story she had found herself entangled in.
Before settling in for the night, Anna wrote everything down in her journal. She had kept an extensive amount of them in her lifetime, so many that a lower shelf in her room was dedicated to them all. They were all beautiful and worn in their own way. "And we shall add you, Pyralis, to these pages," she whispered, making the final punctuation. "Let today be the day I found my love, and the beginning of many happy ones to come."
With that wish in mind, Anna fell asleep, dreaming of green fields, dragon shadows in the sky, and the comforting warmth of her dear Pyralis.
