Name: Eichia, Eich, Chi-chi...Depending on Elle's mood and whether or not she's in trouble. Age: Toddler Height: 2' 4" -Very petite. Weight: ...You try to get her to stay still on a scale. Favorite Color: Purple Favorite Food: Sunflower seeds Character Stereotype: Fidgety, sometimes even nervous or anxious, offset more often than not by childish obliviousness. Good with hands. Fairly athletic. Honest and naive. Small. Fears/Weaknesses: Afraid of cats. Often freezes up in times of stress. Not always level headed. Prone to panic. Strengths: Sweet disposition. Clever when it comes to puzzles and games- very tactile. Usually fairly cheerful. Tendency to forget upsetting situations after they've been resolved.
Eichia is normally chatty, bright and cheerful- and Elle does her best to keep it that way, avoiding situations that might make her upset, as her reaction is sometimes extreme. Amazingly, events that Elle would imagine would elicit the worst response sometimes get no response at all...she's hard to read, for a toddler, but likes all the usual things- coloring, making messes, toys and games. She's not particularly intelligent- she's on par with children her age, for the most part. She also has a good sense of smell, and is very deft. Chi chi possesses an unusual habit of hiding her toys throughout the house to recover and play with later.

Name: Elle Wren Age: A lady never....aw, screw it. Early twenties. Gender: Female. Usually. Race: Human. Occassionally b***h. Personality: Growing up with a couple like Penelope and her boyfriend can really leave you broadsided. Renting a room from them? Just keep your hard hat on! Elle is a pretty down to earth Gaia gal. She's got no special powers of note, save being able to burp the alphabet. Which just doesn't work on a resume. Recently she's taken under her wing several new charges, which is unfortunate because she notoriously hates kids. Ah well, you live you learn, neh? Currently she works for a local bookstore- Barton and Bossier, a fancy two story affair with an in-house Strawflux cafe'. She has a degree in photography that she'll never be able to do anything with, as the kidlets are constantly breaking her equipment...

 You Probably Know That...
•Squirrels are diurnal. This means that they are most active during the day, unlike most rodent species. You've probably noticed that you don't see many squirrels running around at night; they tend to be most active in the early morning and afternoon, avoiding the harsh noonday sun.
•Squirrels are arboreal. They spend most of their lives in trees, and are extrodinary jumpers.
• Squirrels are solitary and territorial. This isn't as apparent with urban squirrel populations, as their territories often intermingle and don't extend for more than one tree, but they are solitary and NOT communal creatures.
• Squirrel's teeth, like most rodents, never stop growing. They require regular chewing to keep them worn down, and sometimes wild squirrels need a little help, and are caught and have their teeth trimmed by rehabilitators.
• Squirrels are omnivorous.
• Squirrels can and will burrow.
• Squirrels communicate through chirps and tail gestures.
Some things you may not know...
• Squirrels are one of the most common causes of power outages.
• Squirrels were first named by Aristotle. 'Skiouros'- skia meaning shade, and oura meaning tail. "He who sits in the shadow of his tail."
• Squirrels can carry the bubonic plague.
• Squirrels cannot digest cellulose.
• Cat saliva is deadly to squirrels. The bacteria in a cat's saliva is poisonous to squirrels, much like it is to birds. Without proper treatment, the squirrel may die if it gets into it's bloodstream.
• Squirrels have sweat glands only in their hands and feet.
• Squirrels have red-green color blindness.
• Squirrels are bad swimmers.
• Squirrels can handle most poisonous plant matter, including mushrooms and acorns. Scientists believe it has something to do with their extremely short digestive track.
