Dyani Name: Dyani Gender: Female Stage: Adult Status: Single (?) Personality: When first summoned, Dyani was very shy and awkward, having to be pushed to interact with other Winis. Gradually, she made a few friends and learned to deal with more than one Wini at a time in a social situation. She's still shaking off her shyness, but she seems to be taking on a sarcastic sort of defensive mechanism...at least in reference to Aponi. With most other Winis, she's civil enough, and even sweet to those she considers friends. Perhaps it's her own version of revenge for the Elder pushing her so much to come out of her shell. Still, she means well enough. Method Obtained: Newbie Flatsale Non-Logged RP Info-- RPed with a lot of other Winis as a child, but I forgot who they all were. Basically, she was just shy and trying NOT to be, but it took time for her to open up to anyone at all. -- Had a long talk with the newly Elder-fied Aurianna about the 'dignity' of Elders (or lack thereof, considering Aedan), then had to threaten Makya to behave or else she'd share stories about 'potty training' days...he decided it was best to be quiet and quickly go elsewhere RP Log[X] RP with Dagda? Aponi Name: Aponi Gender: Female Stage: Elder Status: Single (?) XDDD Sorta'...mostly... Personality: Generally soft-spoken, Aponi is a kind Wini with the wisdom that comes with one of her years. She never has an unkind word for anyone...though it seems Fate is trying to push her limits recently. Still, she never turns away a 'young one' looking for comfort or advice and seems to have 'adopted' a few children along the way. Not to mention a few summoned offspring of her own, courtesy of Aedan, New Years, and a strange human drink called "champagne..." Still, she does her best to remain a respectful Elder, always open to the needs of others. Did I mention she speaks in a dialect resembling Old English? At least, until she actually gets upset about something and it seems to slip a bit...how curious... Makya Name: Makya Gender: Male Stage: Adult Status: Now has kids with Israi Personality: A crazy child...and not much better as an adult. However, he means well, really. He just never quite lost that child-like behavior and desire to entertain himself and others. He'd a good guy though, and believes that everyone has the right to be happy and enjoy themselves. He'll go out of his way to try and cheer someone up...whether they really want to be or not. Sometimes, he tends to go too far, usually making an arse of himself in the process. Then again, sometimes, that's what works. All in all, he's a sweetheart with only the best intentions, even if he's sometimes rather clumsy or awkward in attempting to make things better. Aukai Name: Aukai Gender: Male Stage: Adult Status: Omai...kidduns with Mazarine! Personality: Aukai is a solitary Wini by nature and choice. He regards most other Winis as ridiculous or obnoxious, depending on the individual. However, he tends to give other koi or water-affiliated Winis at least the benefit of a doubt...at first. Still, he's more likely to associate with them, if anyone. He still prefers his solitary nature, but has been known to interact with one other Wini at a time...but no more, thanks. When it comes to social skills, he's rather...'out of practice' to put it nicely. He tries when he's in the mood to...but things tend to be a bit awkward. Cheveyo Name: Cheveyo (Meaning "spirit warrior" in Hopi)Gender: Male Stage: Adult Status: Single Personality: Daring, mischievous, and perhaps a little nuts, Cheveyo has no hesitations about dashing headlong into any situation that might provide either adventure, entertainment, or maybe just destruction. His current goals seem to be in building an army with his second-in-command, Northridge, in order to quell the coming rebellion of the shop furniture. Who knows if this is only a game for them or if they really believe in their 'cause'... Method Obtained: Aponi x Aedan Drunken Summoning (New Year's 2009) Non-Logged RP Info-- 'Saved' Rahab from Eiras, who was sitting on him at the time, by dashing in and climbing atop to perch on the 'mountain'; the elder picked him up and carried him off to which the child inquired: "You're not with the insurgents, right? This isn't a secret plot to push forward the rebellion?" and the conversation deteriorated from there, Eiras amused and messing with the kid, admitting to siding with the rebels and trying to threaten him with Ares; Cheveyo then pushed the interrogation forward, trying to find out if Ares was the recliner, or the grandfather clock, and warning of the chaos of an impending war. Rahab Name: Rahab (Source: Fallen angel of pride whose name means "violence.")Gender: Male Stage: Adult Status: Single Personality: Rahab is typically content to stay distant from others, observing them quietly and keeping to himself. He's sarcastic and seems to have some built-up hostility from an unknown source that emerges when approached. However, he's still only verbal...until touched. He hates being touched and if pushed far enough, will lash out at the offending party with kicking feet, claws, and teeth until freed. The reason for this extreme reaction is still unknown. He cannot yet fly with his wings and it is unknown whether this will change as he grows. He's very sensitive regarding questions about his third eye, which is both constantly bloody and blind. Perhaps this is connected to why he dislikes any sort of contact from others. Venetia Name: Venetia ("Blessed")Gender: Female Stage: Adult Status: Single Personality / Short Bio: Venetia wasn't all that bad, for a demon. Not back in the InBetween; she might have even been considered civil, if one didn't mind her somewhat rare sharp tongue. But that was her old life. That all changed the day that damn drunk accidentally summoned her by cutting his hand on a broken beer bottle he'd just dropped. He'd picked up the amulet and brought it home in a half-drunken stupor, never knowing what the item was. His blood touched the talisman and Venetia's fate was sealed. Too stupid to grasp the wonder of summoning a demon, of all things, into his home, the drunk viewed her as only another mouth he couldn't afford to feed, and tried to teach her to fetch him more beer as the bottles ran empty. He had a temper, and for every mistake she made, she paid for it. Even sometimes when she didn't make a mistake. Or for things that couldn't possibly be her fault, but he had to take his temper out on someone. She grew quiet and withdrawn, feeling trapped in this existence by the cruel beast that had summoned her. She had to get out...but how? If her escape attempt failed, she was loathe to imagine what sort of punishment that might bring down upon her head. Instead, she stayed quiet, doing her best to get by, biding her time. But of course, the foolish never learn, even if taught, and one day, the drunk's temper flared wildly out of control. He began screaming at Venetia, though she couldn't figure out what it was she'd supposeably done this time. Not that it mattered in the long run anyway. The human snarled and shouted, flailing his arms and shaking his fists at her, before throwing an empty bottle on the floor. One such bottle had helped bring her into this world, so only fitting that he remove her from it in a similar manner... Normally so docile and tame, from months of abuse, something in Venetia snapped as the human came for her with the broken bottle, death in his eyes. A snarl ripped from her jaws, her voice harsh after so many months of disuse, and she lunged, claws outspread. She didn't remember what happened next. Only that when she came to, there was blood everywhere, all over the room, all over her, all over that corpse over...there... And she was free. After making her escape, she swore never again to let herself be used or taken advantage of. She would meet all attempts with the harshest response necessary to prevent her further mistreatment. She's suspicious, snide, and perhaps just a bit crazy. She may not be quite all there after her 'snap.' She's not welcome to physical contact, and if she senses even the slightest possibility that someone is trying to take advantage of her in any way, prepare for violence to ensue.
