Okay the where wasnt really needed but i wanted to put it in there xD. I'm pretty sure that i first came into contact with anime in my room when i was like young xD. Probably around 8-9 or something. Stayed up late as a child and watched Adult Swim a few times. Main anime that i looked for was Inuyasha since i didnt know much about how the TV did stuff i just kinda waited till it came on and and was like :3. (Friggin mozzila doesnt recognize anime as a word xD (makes it one)). (Is there a period at the end of )'s?).

I'm currently in 10th grade, and I came across Anime in 6th grade. Well more like was forced into reading Tokyo Mew Mew and then my friends at the time were obsessed with InuYasha considering it was the most popular Anime at the time. So upon coming to that it started unfolding into better anime as I started reading more manga and watching Adult Swim, then taking it to the internet instead. ^_^
*Falls Over Laughing* I KNOW! I have Mozilla too and it keeps telling me that anime and manga aren't words. I keep telling it to add it to the dictionary but it just won't listen.

Never read Tokyo Mew Mew xD and Inuyasha was like the only good anime on at the time xD. Yea I eventually started watching AS more and saw better animes and such and of corse via internet I learned about different animes ;D
Mozilla seems to recognize that I want anime as a word and it doesnt give me the red line under it anymore ;D

Tokyo Mew Mew's definitely not a bad series to start with. After Tokyo Mew Mew it was DNAngel, which I'm totally depressed that it never got finished with the death of the Manga-ka, but what was complete was definitely good.
Well that's good. I think it's finally understood that telling us that anime and manga aren't words is wrong. ^_^ It's a good thing too, since we're in a guild for those two things.

The first anime I ever watched was Sailor Moon, and I had a few Pokemon videos. I was only about six or seven and didn't really know what anime was. When I was about eleven I started reading a lot of manga, and discovered the Japanese Sailor Moon. Then my friends were watching a show called "Inuyasha." At first I hated it, but then it became one of my favorite shows. I've watched a lot of anime and read manga since then.

In my childhood many animated series run over the screen, but don't ask me what exactly. Really into Anime and Manga I got through the Anime Club at the university several years ago. We met every wendsday to watch anime using the projector/beamer. It has been like cinema. There I first saw Love Hina, Inuyasha and Full Metall Panic. Although the animes had been in Japanese and english subtitled (my english wasn't so good at that time) I enjoyed it really fast... and still do. And still I prefer to watch animes in Japanese with subtitles... hmm "How do you watch animes? Subtitled? Synchronized?"... maybe a good question for a seperate thread smile

I'm not entirely sure when I got into anime, but I know it was in front of the TV lol. It started out with DB and DBZ, and Sailor moon honestly, I was like 5 or 6, like I cared, it was on TV and people where getting beat up. Who am I to complain? But now I watch it on AS a lot, and online. I also draw some anime and manga on the side, though I need more practice xp

Hoo boy. That was years ago. Probably when I was like... 8. First edited anime I watched were Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon, which after much contemplation, both were horrible after the first season and needed to drop the 4Kids editing. Watched Sailor Moon too, but never got into it. My first hardcore anime shows were, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin and Cyborg 009, in no particular order.

Sailor Moon... or Dragon Ball is where it all started... but InuYasha gave it a kick start when I hit 12.
