Okay, so a few years ago, Bandai announced Cowboy Bebop was to be released for the PS2 here in the US. It would feature a new story written by the show's writers, they'd get Yoko Kanno for a couple new songs and even brought back the show's voice actors.
It sadly later got canceled for a US release in the shuffle between the Namco/Bandai merger.
Turns out that fandub group Studio Sokodei (makers of fanfilms "Eva ReDeath" and "Nescaflowne") made a straight translation of the game's story into a full feature length episode with neat edits by fixing up the game's weird cut scene pauses, out of sync moments and lack of music at times. And then promptly released it on youtube...
