A semi-continuation of a previous roleplay in the old Anthro's guild between Dracier's rat Tran and my cat Xenophon (who I will edit later with a link to his profile... because I haven't updated it yet >.>). So yes.... yay~ 8D

Another beautiful day out of a week that had been nothing but sunshine, and it was getting ever nearer to the autumn season. The blue overhanging the park was almost completely devoid of cloud cover, and the wind blew lightly through the open area.
Xenophon stretched his arms up high, hands latched onto one another to pull at the muscles in his back, a wide grin sprawled across his face. The bright sun lately had really helped to perk up his attitude, for this year's weather had been nothing but a roller coaster from one extreme to the other. Xen liked it when it was warm, so he was hoping it would stay this way for a while yet.
He flopped himself down on a nearby bench, folding forward as he grabbed a hold of his foot and began rubbing at the pads on the soles of his feet. He had been wandering the park since early this morning, right when the sun had peeked over the horizon, and he was just now realizing the soreness in his feet. "Hmm... maybe I really should start wearing something on my feet..." he pondered for a second before quickly brushing the notion off. Who was he kidding? He just loved the feel of the grass on his bare feet!

Tran was so very bored with the monotonous days that had been passing, everyone had been leaving the town, or fighting, or dealing with long lost lovers and he, he just wanted one light hearted day, maybe a friend.
A long lost friend however was the last thing Tran expected to find when he stepped foot into the park. Gazing at the bench he couldnt help but smile "XENOPHON!" he yelled and came barreling at the boy the thought of the cat maybe not remembering him not even crossing his mind.

(( I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. D: ))
"Owowow, that's really sore!" he cringed as a sharp pain went through his toes. Well, this wasn't good! How was he suppose to keep moving when his foot was so sore?
However, just then, his hand brushed over something that didn't feel too familiar. Turning his foot on it's side, he plucked a small twig from between the pads in his feet and glared at the perpetrator. "You, my friend, are not welcome to take residence up there. I'm sorry, but you're evicted," he scolded the inanimate object before flicking it away from himself and rubbing his foot some more.
Xen's ears twitched as the sound of someone approaching came to them, but he didn't turn his head to meet the person face-to-face until a familiar voice shouted his name. He had barely caught a glimpse of Tran before he realized the rat was running at him at top speed. He leaped up, hoping the red-head was planning on stopping before reaching him. "Tran!" he gaped happily before his foot betrayed the feline and he went toppling over. He caught a grip on the bottom of the bench, but his tail looked like it had just been caught in the spin cycle of a dryer.
