Which do u like better, the original or the re-make with Johnny Depp? I like them both, but I sway a little to the original.

I prefer the original. fond as I am of Mr. depp the new one just seemed flat and a little boring.

the oompaloompa's were just weird i didnt like them as much as the 1st one.
and the characters even seemed worse... i didnt like the 2nd one much at all.
But i do like Johny Depp ....But he has done a few crappy movies

The original Had Gene Wilder, who was awesome in Blazing Saddles. I really respect both the old one and the new one.

Gene wilder was just a better willy altogether but i dont think it was just him it was everything bout the 1st one that makes it better

Though I do love Johnny Depp, I'm going with the original. One, because it was just awesome and seemed so fantasic and wonderful. The lovely kinda make believe world you love as a kid.
Depp's version was far creepier, but way funnier. But still 2nd.
