 Sweet had stopped dead in his tracks as he stared at what lay before him. so far he'd met and pink usdia mare and an orange usdia mare. Now, before him, was a green one. What on earth was going on? Was every color of the rainbow an usdia's coloring? Well, obviously, colors were a necessity, but all the same color. That was almost rediculous. However... he was rather fond of green... it was a shade of blue... kinda... and he loved blue. He smirked and tossed his mane, clearing his throat.
"What is a jaden beauty as yourself doing here alone, Mi Bonita," he asked in his most Fabio-esque voice, adding his charming half grin as he stepped slowly over to her.

Silken words hit Giada's ears as she was enjoying a light snack of some fruit she'd found beneath a tree. Taking a deliberate swallow the emerald colored mare took her time in lifting her head and addressing the obviously male voice. Flicking her mane across her back and out of her face in a teasing manner, she giggled girlishly at the usdia stallion in natural colors before her. My! Wasn't he a sight to see, and clearly appreciative of natural beauty.
"My, my," she purred out as best she could with a low voice. "You don't believe a belle such as myself could defend herself?"
Partly teasing, but also slightly miffed that he might actually believe a mare needed a boy to take care of her, she let a slip of a smile shine through on her face. Either way, he was proving to be fun already.

Sweet shrugged as he came to a stop an appropriate distence away. He was not so close as to encroach on her personal space, yet close enough to have polite conversation with her. He grinned again and continued. "Not at all miss. It's just there are so many lecherous stallions out there and I'd hate to see your harassed by one, even though you are perfectly capable of defending yourself. That is one thing I think no mare should go through." He bowed his head. "My I ask your name, my Emerald?"

Giada's eyes twinkled with interest and mischief. A handsome stallion was worried about other boys harrassing her? Was he flirting, warning her, or really a true gentleman. No matter the truth, he was going to be incredibley enjoyable to talk to. Batting her eyelashes at him and willing a faint blush to her cheeks, she stepped forward a bit. Just close enough to show him she didn't have much of a personal bubble without looking easy. "And who's to say I don't want lecherous old stallions taking advantage of my beauty?" She giggled the words out then bent her front knees into a form of a curtsey. "My name is Giada, but 'My Emerald' works so much better."
With a swish of her tail Giada bent slowly and lifted a flower, tossing it in his direction. "May I request your name in turn?"

Sweet picked the flower up gently and stepped forward to place it behind her ear. "If My Emerald commands it, then so be it. My name is Sweet. Far less enticing then your deem, I fear." He bowed deeply again, taking a step back into his origenal placement. "Giada, what a beautiful name. For an equally stunning mare. But, may I venture to ask if you'd entertain advances from a far less lecherous and equally younger stallion?" He grinned and tossed his mane out of his eyes again.

Giada laughed with absolute delight, eyes twinkling as she did so. Flirting it was then! Enjoying the flower now behind her ear, she tossed her mane just enough to add more focus to the colorful blossoms.
"Sweet," she echoed, rolling it off of her tongue. "Is it short for anything, or did your mother simply know right away you'd be a treat to the eyes?"
Oh, it was too bad that he'd stepped back again though! Giada spent just a moment longer than was neccessary to enjoy the lingering scent of him on the air about her. Letting her eyes explore his own and his face appreciatively, she let out another laugh at his question. "I should say so," was her reply, "younger stallions always have more energy to keep up with me." With that she pranced backwards, just enough that if he wanted to keep talking he'd have to move forwards as well.

Sweet smirked and neslted down into the grasses. Turned his head to the side he murmured, "I was named for my grandmosth, Sweetpea... But it is kind of you to say such things." He smiled brightly and shook his mane out of his eyes. He pondered her actions and tilted his head as she stepped back.
"Do you give them a run for thier money, then? Or are they simply lazy?" He crooked an eyebrow and smiled again. "Why do you step back, m'lady? If a cross lines, feel free to tell me." There was no sign of hurt in his eyes or his voice, though both dripped with mock sorrow.

"Like the flower!" The words were out before she'd really actually finished thinking them. As was her style though, she ran with it as seamlessly as possible before she stepped forward in eagerness. Tossing her emerald mane girlishly Giada winked at Sweet as she did so. "I only speak the truth, handsome." She mimicked his head tilting quizically and beamed at him with a playful wiggle of her rump.
"What do you think?" She'd managed to drop her voice back to a sultry purr, but she wondered if he'd take the bait or not, especially with his second question... She wanted to step forward and reassure him he'd done nothing wrong, but that wasn't part of the game. "You certainly haven't crossed any boundaries, good sir. I'm just so elated by your attractive presence that I feel moved to... Well, move." Like a giddy school girl, but she wasn't about to let that on.

Sweet blushed slightly at the comment, but didn't react. At leat he wasn't being called a mare -- or worse -- a foal. "Hmm, then it seems I cannot trust you, if you are so honest." He quirked an eye brow and stepped forward with his head held high.
"You see, you can always trust a dishonest man. Becasue he will always be dishonest! But, you can never trust an honest man, becasue you never know when he will something incredibly dishonest." He smiled as he quoted his mother. Granted, it was one of those times when she had been rambeling, but that's when some of her wisest tidbits came forth.
He dipped his head low with her and purred back,"then I think you should act upon that notion. It's unhealthy to keep emotions locked up. But run where, I wonder?" And with that he shot to his left, not as fast as possible, but fast enough.

Giada, for just a slight second, looked taken aback and swished her tail back and forth as she paused to think on what he was saying. Not one to back down to any challenge she also took one, dainty, step forward and eyed Sweet with curiosity, "Are you saying that you can't trust me or that you won't trust me?" She placed careful emphasis on the latter part and smirked a bit as she continued to eye him.
"It can always work both ways," she continued earnestly, "who is to say that a seemingly dishonest man won't suddenly tell the truth? Or that a thoroughly honest man is physically incapable of lying, thus he would never be able to do otherwise?"
With barely a blink from, Sweet was running in a seperate direction than where they were. With a girlish roll of her eyes she took off after him, noticing that it would not take much to catch him up.

"Well," he huffed as he ran, "I suppose I see what you mean. But how can you trust that dishonest man to tell the truth? And if that honest man is never lying don't you think you'd become a bit parenoid? Of course there is one simple answer to both questions." He winked and picked up the pace of his running. So this wasn't like the other mares he was used to dealing with. He liked that.
"Of course, if you want to find out you shall have to catch me." He smirked and turned back a head of him.

Sweet's answer made Giada laugh and it came out in little bursts as she ran. She wasn't quite next to him, just enough to hear him, but she could tell he wasn't trying very hard either. Nipping playfully at his side as she moved closer to him she eyed him curiously. Of course he'd have a simple answer. It was probably one she could figure out on her own, but the spotted stallion had given her very good motivation to get the answer from him.
With an extra kick of her back legs, she sprinted forwards. She knew she wouldn't be able to keep the speed up for very long without hurting herself, but she didn't need but more than a few seconds... Moving slightly to the right of Sweet, Giada pushed her weight into him with her shoulder. She wasn't sure it would be enough to send them onto their sides, but maybe it'd be enough to count as her catching him.
"Got ya."

Sweet veered to his left a bit at the nipping, but smiled none the less. He could play dirty as well. He made sure he kicked up as much dirt as possible before he skidded to a stop and flopped ontop his hip. He smiled and flipped his mane. "It's nice to see a lady who can keep up. Those seem to be in short supply." He winked at her and sighed.
"Alright," he huffed, cleaning his rather dusty shoulder, "you caught me and so you shall know my answer." He laid down and caught his breath for a moment. "The simplest way... to tell the truth from both and honest man and a dishonest man... is to get a lady involved." He winked slightly and laughed. "A lady's pure heart and all seeing eyes could cut through any and all barriers and get right to the heart of things. Simple as that."

Giada closed her eyes and attempted to hold back yet another chorus of laughter, failing miserably as she did so. She took a deep breath, opened her eyes, and moved to sit on her hind haunches next to Sweet. She moved her jaw as if to say something, closed it, then tried again to no avail. Twitching her tail impatiently as she tried to stifle the last bit of giggles left in her, she shook her head sympathetically at the stallion.
"I'm not sure what's funnier," she finally managed to get out, "that so very few ladies such as myself can keep up with such a strong male... Or the fact that you'd trust a mare to be truthful." Smirking now, she flicked her tail into Sweet and sighed wistfully. "I am afraid that you could take both types of male, put them together, and still they would be more honest and predictable than even the most stalwart female."

Sweet blinked a few times. "Are you making fun of me," he chuckled as he nudged Giada. "Not often one makes fun of me. but it's not often I meet others." He thought on this and realized how totally out of touch he really was. He shook his head and smiled. He thought on her last question for a bit. He knew he answer but he tried to find out how he could word it without sounding like a total a**.
"I grew up with my mother. I was rasied with a very old fashioned sense of mares. Harmless, soft, gentle. I speak of the classic mare. Honerable, sensible mares. Not these hard headed ones." He'd realized the words only after they'd been spoken. "I-I mean..." he phished for words.
