Anyone else see that Karen posted the first chapter to Faefever up on her blog? <3 Supposedly chapters two and three are out now too, or so it's rumored on her forums. It comes out this month on the 16th! Ah, and don't forget about the other story she posts on her blog; The Lady Lies. I like her Fever series better I think, more plot line. That's what everyone refers to it as since the popular slogan for the series is "Catch the Fever."

I'm a KMM addict. She posted the first three chapters of FeaFever, it was awesome, and now I really can't wait for the book to come out. Chapter three ended on a part that just made me go, "What? No! I want to read more now!" T _ T While I absolutely adored her Highlander books (it's a toss up between Dageus and Adam for my favorite), I'm enjoying the Fever books a lot more than I originally thought I would. There's just so much to keep you coming back for more to find out what the F is going on. XD For anyone who isn't up on the plot for the Fever books, here's the blurb from KMM's website on DarkFever: Quote: MacKayla Lane’s life is good. She has great friends, a decent job, and a car that breaks down only every other week or so. In other words, she’s your perfectly ordinary twenty-first-century woman. Or so she thinks…until something extraordinary happens. When her sister is murdered, leaving a single clue to her death–a cryptic message on Mac’s cell phone–Mac journeys to Ireland in search of answers. The quest to find her sister’s killer draws her into a shadowy realm where nothing is as it seems, where good and evil wear the same treacherously seductive mask. She is soon faced with an even greater challenge: staying alive long enough to learn how to handle a power she had no idea she possessed–a gift that allows her to see beyond the world of man, into the dangerous realm of the Fae…. As Mac delves deeper into the mystery of her sister’s death, her every move is shadowed by the dark, mysterious Jericho, a man with no past and only mockery for a future. As she begins to close in on the truth, the ruthless Vlane–an alpha Fae who makes sex an addiction for human women–closes in on her. And as the boundary between worlds begins to crumble, Mac’s true mission becomes clear: find the elusive Sinsar Dubh before someone else claims the all-powerful Dark Book–because whoever gets to it first holds nothing less than complete control of the very fabric of both worlds in their hands. . . .

>__< I finished reading Faefever in like, two hours. Dx & I totally agree, the wait of a year is totally going to kill me. 3 Totally didn't help that the ending was a total cliffhanger. D:<

I'm just glad I get her newsletter. She gives out little excerpts occasionally. Keeps me from going too crazy. XD
The cliffhanger was mean. Mean I tell you! My last thought when I finished the book was "Barrons is going to be piiiiiissed."

I finished the fever series thus far and my thoughts are:
Barrons is the only good thing about the series. Mac is too blond (no offense, she just is) and too pink (and I LOVE pink). It takes way too long between books when there's little- VERY little- development that happens in each one. I still don't know where the 'fever' is coming from. What? She's going to put all the sex in the final book..? Or are they all just going to explode from sexual frustration? lol
