Who: Edward, Liliana, and anyone else who happens along the library in Trel’s house in Bass’ken Woods. I’d like to keep it family & close friends please. If you’re one of these & need a way in (ie your kitsu wouldn’t just be ‘wandering’ in) PM (here or Trelweny) or aim (rosephoenixwolf) me & let me know & we’ll see what we can do! heart What: Liliana’s preggers. Very preggers. O_O Where: Remus’ Library. –oh let’s face it… it’s everyone’s library now. ^_^ When: Not long before the eggs are born probably. LILY’S HUGE!!! Why: Why? WHY? Omgosh… have you ever seen a little petite girl waddle with multiple babies in her? *giggles* That’s why! Liliana whimpered softly as she padded across the smooth cool floor of the library even as she nearly closed her eyes in pleasure of the feel of the wood floor beneath her paws. Her tiny ankles were swollen with the heat of summer.
Not to mention the load of her pregnancy.
Though the petite crimson female tried not to it was impossible for her not to waddle under the weight and girth of her swollen belly. SHE WAS HUGE. Flapping her gold tipped brown wings to cool herself, Liliana once more swore that she must be larger than last time.
Steadily the witch made her way to where cool beanbags had been placed on the floor in front of one of the window seats of the library. As big as she was, Liliana wanted a last chance to be with her family before actually birthing the eggs. That occasion would be saved for her & Edward –and perhaps their grown kits.
Those beanbags looked so far away.

"Mom, are you okay?" asked a voice in the corner of the library. A red haired young kitsu looking up from a book he had recently pulled from the shelves. Setting it aside, William trotted up towards Liliana, his eyes going huge as he realized just how big his mother had gotten. He looked in the direction she was going, the beanbags. A concerned smile flashed over Will's face as he came up alongside her, "You can lean on me if you want." He didn't know anything about what Liliana was going through, really, but William did want to help if he could.

First one gold tipped ear and then the other flicked and tilted at the sound of her only son's voice. Probably not her only son for long... Well at least hopefully not for his sake. Green eyes smiled with loving pride at the red-haired kitsu as their owner paused and gratefully relaxed. Well... as much as she could.
"That's rather subjective." Liliana said with what was intended to be a joking chuckle but ended up with a flash of pain through her smiling eyes accompanied by a rather forceful wince. Eggs were not supposed to shift inside. Or rather... she wished they would not. With a long exhale of breath she gave William a motherly nuzzle as he stepped beside her before leaning slightly into his male strength. Liliana did not care what most said -most males were simply stronger than most females of the same type. End of story. At this moment she was more than grateful for her son's strength. "Thank you, William. Your siblings seem so much heavier and even larger than you and the girls were."
Lifting a gold tipped red paw she reached up and smoothed down the strand of her son's red hair that always stuck up, fully knowing it would spring back up again. Just like his father's. Liliana smiled. "I'm hot, I'm heavy, I'm always hungry & I hurt nearly everywhere. But I'm happy." Green eyes glittered in good humor at her use of so many H's. "I must be okay."
Putting her paw down to start walking again Liliana flicked gold dipped ear against ink dipped and smiled. "How about you, William?"

William blinked cluelessly as he listened to his mother tell about her current woes. He was left very perturbed and confused. "I don't understand how you can be happy like that" he admitted, but a smile came to his face. "But... I am happy that our family is getting bigger." Will would be lying if he said he wasn't looking forward to having more brothers. A single boy among several girls, while not all that bad, was a little lonely. He had always wanted a brother to play with when he was younger. Although, he and Morgan were very close and she was a tomboy, it still wasn't quite the same.
As Liliana leaned against him, William slowly walked her towards the beanbags. "I'm alright" he admitted when she questioned about him. "I've been doing a lot of reading. I've asked dad for some more alchemy books and he went to go get them from the HQ. He also said he would be fetching Uncle Al. He left this morning, should be back any time now."
And as if on cue, the sounds of unevened steps outside the door sounded, just before it was opened. In walked Edward with his brother not far behind.

The library that resided in the home his sister lived in was usually heavenly to nap in - large windows always allotted sunlight to fall in the right places, and the oldest child in the legacy couldn't help but always fall asleep. Even if he was trying to read, as he had been before the lovely feeling nipped at the back of his head, making the book he was trying to get through look just lovely.
He would have stayed this way for hours, if it hadn't been for the sudden rumble of sounds not too far away from his resting form. Romulus was highly sensitive to sound - anything could set him off - and this was why he loved the quietness of the library. A silent sanctuary.
Lifting his head from the book, (page 302, of 703, he had been making progress!) Romulus looked around the room in a off-kilter daze, his golden eyes fogged over from sleep, and his expression one of a dream still lingering. It took the tawny shaded kitsusagi a few moments to realize that a conversation was happening and around him, and when it finally dawned on him whom the voices were owned by, he couldn't help but be curious. Lifting himself suddenly to all fours, the silent creature gave a great yawn, before shaking himself off once, and taking to scoring the library, hoping to find the source of the voices.
It only took him a few moments to find the point of origin, and finally snapping from his sleepy stupor, as his crimson eyebrows rose slightly towards the sky, golden eyes fixated on his sister. He had heard that she was expecting again - but this seemed a little excessive. It almost pained him, in empathy for her. Taking a few steps towards her, he made a little extra sound - claws on the wooden floors - to express his entrance in replacement of his voice.
Not having too much time, or mental capacity as he was still groggy, to retrieve his writing tablet for his sibling and nephew, he threw them a dazed questioning gaze, wondering if they needed assistance, or whatever.
.. Man.. Lil is huge.. he thought internally, the whisper of a inner voice thought.

((*giggles from late hubby's account* ^_^))
Liliana made a laugh somewhere between a giggle and a snicker. "That's why I can be happy like this... for our family to grow. To have more to love." For a kitsu who thought so little -read never- about love growing up, the emotion and everything that went with it certainly filled her adult life. More than any potion or spell, and it did not work like either. Love could wonderfully grow to encompass all it could. As Lily often did, she prayed her dear friend Endless would one day too be able to experience this. Well... clearly with a mate.
Speaking of... heightened scences caught the familiar scent of her other half causing white and gold tails to wag in a gentle but happy sway. The leaning waddle she had begun while borrowing strength from their son paused as Liliana once more took a break. This time to be able to turn her gaze to the blonde behind her with a brilliant and delighted smile. Blondes. The witch's smile grew. "Edward!" All her love showed in how his name flowed from her mouth. "And you brought Alphonse! Oh! I'm so glad to see you!"
A start of motion like she wanted to turn and give a properly affectionate greeting was halted even as it was begun as it sent jarring pain through petite swollen ankles and caused Liliana to sharply suck in her breath and wince. This was followed almost immediately by a flash of sad disappointment and a look of apology for not being able to hug in greeting as she would like.
A sound caught her ear from further in the library. Beyond the beanbag pile so Liliana had not looked that far yet -being rather singly minded for the cool softness they represented. Sometimes Lily could forget how much larger the library had grown since she was a pup. Remus said even then it was larger than when he first created it as new books constantly needed new shelves. Now, with all the 'family' that might want to visit, it was large enough for them all without having to feel cramped or that they had to be on top of each other in any way. Of course they still could but the necessity for such a thing was nonexistant.
Green eyes flicked to the sound with a startle that was more instinct than logic. The caught off-guard look in her eyes vanished into one of happy surprise. "Romulus." Liliana beamed to see her silent older brother, her tails swaying happily. Then to all three males, "William was helping me get to the pile."
Her tone held so much at once: gratitude and love for her son for the help & just being himself, some degree of shame or embarrassment for not being able to do it herself & yet not feeling at all bad for accepting assistance, the pain and heat she felt which left her breathing a little heavier as she once more stepped forward toward's her objective.

Alphonse had been under a large oak tree and snoozing in the heat of the day when Ed had come for him. While he liked to be alone, the prospects of following his brother around again filled him with a sense of nostalgia as well as happiness. He followed Ed to the library without any need for motivation whatsoever, curious as to what he might find inside.
"At least it's cooler in here," He said quickly, blinking at Liliana once he spotted her inside the library. "Huh? What happened to you?" He wondered, an innocent childlike look of bewilderment. "You look like... ahh...." He quickly cut himself off, mentally berating himself for even thinking about calling somebody else 'fat'. It just wasn't polite at all.
"...very comfortable on that beanbag." He said finally, covering for his initial sentence.

"Geez Al, I don't have to give you the "talk" now, do I?" A bright teasing grin spreading across Ed's face as he waltzed into the library with his younger brother in tow. And then something struck Ed and his face immediately turned more serious as he hurried over to his mate's side, opposite of his son's. "Lil! You shouldn't be on your feet!" he said upon seeing her wince. Edward knew for a fact that she was bigger this time around, and he was actually quite worried for his mate. All that weight couldn't be good for her back, and it was obvious to see she was having trouble getting around. What if she fell? She could seriously hurt herself, the eggs inside, or both. William looked over to his silent uncle and offered a smile in greeting. However, he was more focused on getting his mother to the beanbags. As his father came racing over, Will's ears tilted back. He didn't know why she was up and about either, but he could take a few guesses.

It sure was a flurry of feathers and paws to get his sister towards the beanbags, as Romulus watches on with worried eyes - Liliana had definitively found herself a loving family to be all worked up in, and it relieved the older brother. Watching her son and mate take the brunt of weight for her to assist her in her endeavors, Romulus flashed his own wild (and yet, still slightly groggy) smile to his nephew when he realized the silent one's presence.
For his sister, though, a look of worry and brotherly love could only wash over, wondering what he could do for her. It was only after a few short moments did he hear the rushing sound of Edward from behind him, and in a fell swoop, the bright blond haired kitsusagi was to his mate's side faster than Romulus could make a move. Exhaling a silent smile, Rommy decided to accept Edward as the perfect help for his sister, and her son - but he stayed close, just in case he was needed.
It wasn't until a few moments later, did the new voice float through the air and to the heightened remaining senses of tawny kitsusagi. Turning his head, he looked for the owner of such a new voice, and didn't stop until he noticed Alphonse talking to his brother, whom the silent one was very used to, already.
Cantering his head, he turned his attention from his sister for a moment to query the other and whom he was with a slightly dumbfounded glance at him. Was he related to Edward? They sure as hell looked a like.

Xanul had decided that he would visit his closest cousin on this fine day. Not to mention that he was bored; he usually was. The half-Nobody had even stopped wandering out so much and stayed at home with his parents and other siblings instead. These days, he just didn't feel like going out so often.
He created a portal and headed to the library; most of his other family members were usually found there anyway. Padding out of the black swirls as it closed behind him, he blinked at the small gathering. "Hey Uncle Romulus!" He greeted with a cheery grin. "Uncle Ed, William...Edward's brother; forgot your name, sorry...uh Aunt Lily?" He stopped in his tracks, blinking at her...rather large figure. "Oh wow, it looks even worse when mom had the five." How many were in there? He eyed her stomach suspiciously.
"Anyway, congrats." He grinned, making a mental note to tell his mother. "God, the family's getting a lot bigger, isn't it?"

The gravid crimson female giggled through her pain. "I'm sure I will be, Alphonse, when I get there." Another flash of pain touched Liliana's face before she made a sheepish expression at her mate. "But the library is the best place to see family, Edward..." Not quite a whine it was more of a pout while also bearing an apologetic tone. "I'm really too far along to want to chance apparating and I feel safer walking than levitating and... well I didn't want to bother Peter for a 'port..." She also felt she could use a little more exercise than just getting up to use the bathroom all the time but did not get a chance to think how to explain that as she gave Edward a grateful yet sheepish nuzzle before the library door opened once again.
"Uncle Al!" Gold tipped red wings fluttered before being folded to drop the gold swirled white kitsu on top of the unsuspecting alchemist. "You came!" Green eyes danced and turned to her kithood penpal, the turn of Aurum's head causing her long braid to fall past even Alphonse's shoulder. "Xanul! Is Mom really bigger than Aunt Ayako? Wow! Does that mean even more brothers and sisters? Uncle Rommy! When are you going to be a dad? Or you, Uncle Al?" There was a pause in the apparently sugar-rushed female's speech as she grew thoughtful, resting her cheek on the soft darker blonde hair of her uncle's head. "I would like to have kits... someday..."
Chuckling at her daughter's exceptionally excited chatter as she was helped across the room Liliana did not quite catch the softer phrase that followed everything. As a mother, she would probably wonder if anyone had caught her daughter's eye. Though Aurum seemed to make friends easily she had few outside of the family. "You really think so, Xanul? Hemi coyly refuses to tell me a count, and my own abilities can only assure me they're healthy." There was a hint of her usual shame for having neglected what little healing gift she had inherited from Nari.

Alphonse visibly winced at Ed's reply and was unsure whether to scold him for it, or politely protest. He chose the second option as it was clear that his brother's comment was a lighthearted tease.
"Brother!" He yelped. "Of course I know about... well, about that!" If he didn't have a layer of fur covering his face, he would be blushing right now. "You don't need to tell me." He sighed. "It's just, ah, well. She's so... big. That's what I meant to say..." He cast another glance back to Lili again, seeming pleased once she was resting. It couldn't have been good for her to move around very much at all in such a heavily gravid state, that was certain on his mind, and by the looks of things, everyone else's too.
He waved a paw in Xanul's direction when he arrived, giving him a wide grin. "My name is Alphonse, but you can call me 'Al'." He grinned. "Most everybody does. Probably because it's faster to say." A soft chuckle escaped him and he couldn't help but wag his tails.
When Aurum spoke, his tails wagged even faster. It seemed that sometimes, he couldn't stop them. Alphonse decided that this wasn't necessarily a bad thing and nodded in reply to the younger female's comment. "I did," He answered with a wide grin. "Your father made me, but he really didn't have to, you know." He cast a playfully scolding look back at his brother. "I would have come with wings on," He fanned out his own, chucklling. "Literally."

Edward sighed lightly at his mate's protesting, but a sympathetic smile came to his face. He could understand why she would want to move and not stay stuck in one place, but... "I just don't want you to hurt yourself, Lily" he told her. With William and him on either side of her, they managed to get Lilianna to the beandbags.
It wasn't until them that Edward let out a laugh at his brother, "Of course she's big, Al!" He flashed a grin at his mate before looking back to his brother, "Probably gonna pop any day now. But I could've sworn you weren't this big last time, Lil." Maybe he had just forgotten, or something. It wouldn't be all that surprising.
A little bit of red could be seen under William's fur as he blushed at his father's comments. He was certainly educated, but he was still naive enough to be embarassed by all the talk of such things. His father certainly could be rather blunt about things.

A look only, saying that Lily in no way intended to hurt herself -or more importantly- their kits. Females had young all the time; she was fortunate to have a very reliable support group.
With a whimper and a sigh all at once Liliana sank gratefully into the cool beanbags with looks of thanks & love to her mate & son. Hopefully their coolness would last... her mind was a little disjointed in trying to remember if there was a spell that could do so. Perhaps alchemy...? The notion did not settle in her mind long enough to ask her mate as the gravid but otherwise small female tried to wiggle into a slightly more comfortable position. Softly she laughed a little, setting her mind to focus on what was being said all around the room. "You're not going to offend me, Alphonse. Being large with your brother's kits is hardly something to be ashamed about." No indeed. In fact her green eyes sparkled with love and pride. A flicker of something Ed would recognize glittered in her green depths. "I wasn't. Remember how I could bend?" Yes... she was reminding him of some of their private times both then and now. "But I don't know if its because there are more or the eggs are simply bigger." Although something in her body language said she suspected there were more, but logic was against that notion.
Aurum giggled, a shake of her head casting off her dreamy thoughtfulness as if it never had been -in fact looking like she was glad her 'perch' had not heard the thoughts that had been spoken. Playful, kitlike, Aurum nommed on Al's ear. "Silly Unca Al... should come over more often. Wings and all."
With a sheepish grin at her mate green eyes darted to her brothers. Well her brother & her brother-in-law. "I am interested in your answers to Aurum's question." Liliana teased, referring to when they might be fathers themselves. As far as she knew... neither had a romantic interest yet, but she could be hopeful. "Hey! That's right! And while we're at it..." Her sweet gaze went to her closest true cousin as if she was about to tease him about kits too then shook her head as if she thought better of it -now was not the time, with so many family members here- then glanced at her brother with a playful wink as if she would tease him next before there was a flicker of the emotion behind an earlier thought and the little alchemist-witch dropped that too. "...nevermind..." With a sheepish grin Aurum lay her head back down upon Alphonse's while looking mostly between her silent uncle and her parents. Wanting kits must be like yawning... contagious. The small femme giggled. That was how it was for her mom it seemed. She would just have to ignore the interest in herself. It was not like she had a prospective mate anyway. She really only hung out with family. Or Endless and Josh. Another giggle as Aurum danced around the thought of her friend Josh ever being a daddy. Yeah right.

"I dunno." The kitsusagi frowned, peering at his aunt's belly. "Or maybe Aunt Lily is smaller that it seems that way. I think it's either five or six." He paused in thought. Woah, so many more cousins! "I would ask mom to come clarify, but I think she, like Uncle Hemi would refuse to say."
"Oh." He grinned sheepishly. "Hi Al!"
"Are eggs really bigger?" He asked, canting his head to the side. "Mom says she could tell that she had more than the first time; five is definitely more than three. Then again, she is a healer." He shrugged.
"What?" Xanul noticed the look Aurum gave him and returned it with a clueless look.
