The brown cheetah walked over dry earth slowly, his paws kicking up small dust clouds behind him. His mismatched eyes glanced around as he walked, lids heavy and narrowed. There were heavy dark circles under his eyes, giving him a slightly tired or sickly look. But he was healthy enough to survive on his own, though she certainly wasn't the most attractive male in Africa... Mud coated his fur along his legs and his thin mane was in a constant matted grease pit. It was a good thing he didn't really care about... anything, really.

Murdoc continued walking for a while, until he came to a small mound of dirt and rocks. He flopped down in front of a large one that would give him a bit of shade, content to relax for a while before he'd have to find something to eat. Which wasn't that easy, especially when his temper got going and he became more rash...

Despite the fact that her coat was a soft blue colour and despite the fact that she stood out like a sore thumb amongst the golds and browns of the savannah, Zambarau never really had any trouble captuirng soemthing to eat.

Her mind had wandered off long ago taking with it most of her memories of the past, but instinct held strong and the will to capture soemthing to eat always raged in her belly.

She had managed to capture a fawn today,it was a fairly small thing but it would certainly fill her as long as she could find some where to rest, she didn't want to be desturbed by hyenas or wild dogs or lions. She wanted her meal.

The scent of a male caught her nose and she stopped midstep her head held high, her soft silvery eyes peirced throught he sunlight to try and size him up, was he a threat or could she go by undesturbed. Standing still she waited, wondering if he would make the first move.

His nostrils flared for a moment, catching the scent of a female and... blood. His stomach rumbled in response, causing him to slowly stand and glance around. It didn't take him long to spot the bright female not too far away. His ears flicked as he examined her. The look wasn't quite aggressive, but he was defenitly weighing options in his mind.

After pausing and thinking, he decided to step closer to the female. "Big fawn for lil thing like you... Maybe you should share, eh?"

Releasing the fawn from her mouth it dropped in a soggy heap on the ground. A slight sigh rolled over her lips but she had the feeling taht if she wanted any of ehr meal she would have to share it with this bruser. She knew she couldn't fight him,s he was small and frail even if she was healthy enough, she couldn't stand up to a big male.

"I suppose I could share." She whspers her voice airy, perhaps even unused to being used for it held a slight grate to it which may have indicated that her throat was sore as she spoke.

Her long tail twitched as she looked the big male over, he seemed rather dirty but she held back her comments, she wan't about to loose her lunch completely.

He smirked victoriously, trotting a few paces closer. "Don't worry babe. Small lil thing like you? Sure ya don't need much meat anyway. Practicly doin' you a favor with this, it'll keep you from getting fat." He stopped beside her, eyes scanning over her thin form without shame. His attention was quickly stolen by the fawn, however, and he turned away from her to slice into it's stiffening side. "I don't need much anyway."

A snort rolled over her nostrils and she glared at the big male, if looks could kill, he would have been stone dead. "babe? I'm no child sirrah, my name is Zambarau and before you steal my meal maybe you should inform me of yours." She licked her lips, she thought maybe she had stepped the line, he could attack her and that was her fawn all gone, at least for the moment he was willing to share.

His head had lowered to take a bite, but it slowly raised again to look her over curiously. "I'm not stealing, babe. You offered it to me." He smirked, showing rows of teeth that were a shade yellower then usual. "But since ya wanna know, my name is Murdoc. Pleased and oh so overjoyed to meet a pretty lil thing like yourself.'

She rolled her eyes, flattery seemed to be this ones middle name. Sitting slowly the lean cheetahress waited for him to eat, hopeing he wouldn't just leave ehr the scraps of meat that would be of little use to her to give her some energy back.

"Murdoc, unusual name.." She could think of little else to say to him as she gazed out over his spine her tail clickering around ehr paws.

"Ya know you love it, babe." He smirked wider, eyes scanning over her once again... Then he turned back to the meal and bent down to rip a piece of flesh from the fawn's side. He ate without any manners nor self restrain, and a good portion of the fawn was gone in mere minutes. Suprisingly though, he did leave her a little over half of it. There were even bits of prime meat left here and there. Once he was done he stepped away and flopped back down into the dirt, apparently set on watching her eat the rest of the corpse.

She fidgeted nervously as he lay down to watch ehr eat, she had to eat it before something else showed up and snagged it. The male may have been big but she doubted he could, or would stand up to a hyena or a lion. Kneeling before the now torn carcass she ate as much as she could, feeling self concious that he was watching her partake of her meal.

She sat up and groomed her paws and face cleaning away the blood and other peices from her maw before she turned her gaze upon the big male once again.

"You know it's really rude to watch someone eat." She quipped trying to rid her fur of the gore which clung to her fur so stubbornly.

The male had briefly rubbed at his maw enough to get the larger bits of gore off of him, but the rest he left to slowly dry and stiffen. It really didn't make him look worse off anyway.

"Why are you so grumpy, eh? Toothache?" He smirked again, head tilting to peer at her in amusement.

her tail tip twitched a little as she watched this big arrogant male, he was dirty he was smelly and he had taken a part of her meal just because he could and now he was asking why she was grumpy?

She opened ehr mouth to speak only to close it again, shaking her head she licks her lips. "Clearly you don't understand women." She shook her head and stood, looking down at the corpse whichs he had more or less picked clean, only some fur and bones remained of the meal. "I think i should take my leave." She huffed, she was ever so tempted to splurt a whole load of abuse at him, but what if he chased her? He could hurt her with his size.

His head tilted slightly, looking honestly confused for a moment. "Eh? Leavin'? Ya don't wanna stay and chat a bit... Eh... what was your name..." He scowled in flustration as he tried to recall the name she had told him only minutes before... In the end he just shook his head. "...Babe is fine. Well, go wander off if ya want to, your loss..."

Shaking her slender head she glared at the male once again. "I don't think I'v ever met anyone as rude or dirty as you!" She snapped taking a few easy gliding steps away. This had not been a good meeting, the male was frustrating, arrogant and clearly pig headed, babe, "and my name is Zambarau, I don't answer to babe!"

She sniffed hortily and trotted away, her ears back and her tail twitching in an aggrivated manner.

He frowned slightly, watching her go. He made no move to follow her, though it looked like perhaps he wanted to. His ears twitched slightly before tilting back, his frown deepening. After watching the girl depart for several moments he sighed, tail twitching in annoyance.

"Well, thanks for the meat, babe." He grunted, loud enough for her to hear from farther away.
