And of course by Steam Powered I mean people using Steam. For anyone who doesn't know it's a system developed by the wonderful people from Valve in which you can purchase games online with your personal account, download them onto any computer with Steam, and play them (of course). Thankfully, Steam is a small program and it's easy to set up an account.
For those who don't know Valve they would be the company that brought Half Life to being with all it's episodes, and brought Team Fortress 2 and Portal to existence. Also they've helped greatly with CounterStrike's development which brings me back to my initial point.
I want to find other Gaians on Steam! I can't seem to find any, and I need new people to play CounterStrike: Source and Team Fortress 2 with. Maybe Garry's Mod or any of the other countless mods for Halflife 2. Considering this is my first chance to talk to just us oldies I think I stand a better chance.

Oh man I hate how that happened, I mean I played and beat the game the MORNING it was released, learned all about the rise and fall of the companion cube, the elusive cake, Still Alive, all of it before it was widely known by the public....only to watch it all sink to the level of inter-fad, then meme....
It ruins the experience to know that one of the most amazing gaming moments I've ever had became so over abused until it was nothing more then a bloody mess smeared all over the walls of the internets.
But sometimes on cold morning where the fog hangs thick over my house , I can hear that gentle voice taunting me from the waning shadows....."Are you still there?"
You know I should really write drama, I'm good at taking something simple and making it sound like one of the most traumatic experiences in my life. xd
God I'm bored......thanks Mar, I'll look you up.

Lol!!! Somehow I'm not surprised since everyone uses steam for all kinds of games now. Originally it was only Valve stuff, and it just grew from there.
Mine's MalueManXXX, the three x's are only there because my friend Phil is the kind of a*****e who decided to HACK while using my account and got it frozen. Now that I think about it can't really figure out why I put xxx....Phil probably suggested it. xd

Hrm. I have Steam. But I haven't been at my house for a while. sweatdrop
But my account name is MisTress.
And I play CS:S and CoD4. =] And various other games through the Steam engine. Like the Sims and such. So I can talk to all my friends while in game. Ingenious invention really.

I have a Steam account. I believe my sn is CelticPrincessMe. i'll double check when I get home. But, the only game I've played on it so far is The SHip.

i've got steam
it came with Portal and that other game you know the sequel
and that fortress game lol
yeah i can't say i really use steam enough to enjoy it
most of the time it is just a pain haveing to open another program to and wait for it to update just to play a game that doesn't require me to be online anyways.
though i'll admit playing HL2 with pop up commentary was pretty cool
When did the first HL game coem out again? what was it like 95? rofl
