Daisy Duck walked down the street when she saw the little kangaroo crying. "What’s the matter, kid?" She asked Roo.
"I lost my momma. Please will you help me find her?" Roo asked through his tears.
Daisy nodded. "Well, Minnie and I have an appointment at the Bowdressers to get our bows done for our dates with Mickey and Donald," she said but then looked at his big sad eyes. "Oh, okay. We'll look in these shops."
Daisy took Roo's hand and the two went into a shop. Once inside they looked for Kanga in the woman's clothing section. They left the shop with bags of stuff Daisy didn't need, but had to have. The two crisscrossed the street and went inside each and every shop. Every time they left Daisy had more and more bags.
Once at the last place Daisy saw Minnie in the doorway looking at her watch. "You’re late," the mouse said.
Next to Minnie was none other then Kanga with a big blue bow on her head. Roo ran over to his mother and hugged her. "Momma!"
"Roo? How are you over there? I thought you were..." The kangaroo looked at her pouch and found inside was a plushie of Roo with a plate of pancakes.
Roo looked to the floor with a frown. "That's Tigger's dummy for when we want to stay up late..."
Kanga looked crossly at Roo. "Don’t do that again, young man. Daisy might not be there to help you next time. Now, tell her thanks."
"Yes, Momma," Roo softly said then looked to Daisy. "Thanks, Miss Duck."
Daisy was happy it had worked out. "You’re welcome. Funny how the last place you look is always right," she said and giggled. She put her shopping down.
Minnie looked at her friend oddly. "What did you get all that for?"
Daisy frowned and pushed it all over to Roo. "He did, not me!" She said with a fake smile as a few new bows fell out of a bag.
Kanga, Minnie and even little Roo placed their hands to their head. "Oh, Daisy," Minnie said before the three began to laugh. After a moment or two Daisy herself began to laugh.
