As most of you know, I'm a work-a-holic.
however, I ******** called into work sick yesterday, and went home early today.
I've been shivering all day. I have such a fever. I'm wrapped in my blanket like a ******** taco.
My throat is killing me, and my gums are somewhat swollen.
I went to the doctor's yesterday, and as I was explaining all this, the women swabbed my mouth, a few minutes later she said I dont have strep. Which, I mean, is awesome and all... but still. I explained to her that my gums are swollen too, and she told me that I probably ate something hot. Hm... I think I would know if I ******** ate something that burned the roof of my mouth so bad I don't want to eat anymore. Seems like something that would be memorable. She then told me to go home, take advil, & get sleep.
WTF ? Today I feel like I'm dying.
Worst Doctor Ever.

No, hun, it's not salmonella.
Salmonella is food poisoning, most commonly associated with diarrhea & stomach pains.
Up until last night, when I was forced to eat something, did I then just throw it up.
My stomach couldn't handle it. I refused to eat anything, so my parents got me a smoothie. It didn't stay down. sad
On top of all of this, I have a wisdom tooth coming in now.
I want to die. sad

hun...get your fine a** to the ER now..unless it's down after i posted this than ingore it. but if it gets any higher get to an ER. ******** a doctor..head to the ER.

I went to the doctor's again yesterday, getting a different doctor.
His name was Chris, he was wearing jeans. I like down to earth doctors. lol
They still told me the same thing, continue taking advil until we tell you otherwise.
However, he took a bunch of blood sample. Mostly testing me for Mono.
I'm telling you, it's going to come back one of the two. Or both, with my luck.
Mono or Tonsillitis
But because of the holiday, I won't get the results until Tuesday.
I don't know if I can go that long though. I still have yet to eat anything. I can barely drink anything,
and what I do drink is either water or apple juice. I refuse to drink anything else.
I called my boss and told him they are testing me for Mono, which, as you all should know by now is highly contagious. He said stay out of work until I get the results. When I told my mom I did that, she yelled at me. She doesn't think I should stay out of work (this is the women that calls into work like once a year, takes her work home with her, and is even there on the weekend sometimes). My mom never stops working. However, I don't want to be to blame if everyone starts getting sick.
*sigh*

lol wow....sounds like the doctors around here. I went to 5 different doctors when I was having a really hard time with stuff and thought it was a yeast infection...well the medicine didn't do jack so I went to a few about it and one told to me to go to another and then to another one. No one could figure it out till about a year later it built up in me. I had 103 temp, my back was killing me, my sides were too, and I was just crying. I went to the ER and about 7 hours later they told me I had a kidney infection and it was a good thing I went when I did else I would have had some serious problems...all because no one could tell me it was a damn bladder infection -_-
but I'm no doctor or anything but let us know how you're doing!! I wish you the best in getting better. Don't literally die on us wink

I had a kidney infection a couple years ago.
I refused to go to the doctor's. I didn't tell anyone. I just laid in my room. Then my friend asked me to come over, and I needed to get out. So I did. I stayed for like an hour, then left because I could barely walk anymore. On my drive home, I was driving as fast as I could, hoping to get pulled over so I could get taken to the hospital. However, that never happened.
When I got into the house, I collapsed on my parents' bedroom floor in a little ball (or as little of a ball as my body could go), crying.
They gave me a bunch of medicine then took me to the doctor's in the morning.

Alright, well, I still haven't gotten my bloodwork results back.
However, I couldn't take it anymore, and I was passing out.
So I made my dad bring me to the doctor's, once again.
He waited inside, while I laid in the grass in the front. It was to hot inside for me.
Anyway.... long story short, I got a shot in my butt, and a prescription.
According to the doctor, I had "some kind of infection". Wow, really ? You don't say.
But yeah, it's been like 20 mins since the shot, and I have already drank like 3 glasses of water. Which felt amazing.
Before, that would have took me hm.. probably a whole day to do.
So, I think they got it right this time. smile
I might live kids ! YaY ? rolleyes
I'm still going to wait to see how the medicine does,
and the blood work results before I got back to work.
Not going to push myself like I normally would, and how my parents are.
Plus, I have to get fat again. My pants are falling off. I can't have that.

and i lost 90 pounds evil so i feel ya on the whole pants falling off thing.
