Prose Conversion.
Tee Vee

Not so long ago, in a nondescript house lived a pair by the name of Mr. and Mrs. Spouse.
Everyday, after work, dishes, eating, (which, oddly enough, they did at different times), they�d Sit in front of the T.V. and Pay attention to nothing else.
They'd watch Opera, Cartoons, House, anything that was on, and they wouldn�t stop 'til they fell asleep, set still on.
Every morning they'd both get up, at different time's, turn on the T.V. in the kitchen, and eat breakfast. Then, still at different times, go to work and watch T.V. at work.
The Cycle continued for god knows how long.
Until, one day, The T.V. set just wouldn't work. They both blankly stared at the set, with it's dark screen.
Turning, Mr. Spouse noticed, as if for the first time, a lovely lady sitting beside him.
"How do you do?" He asked her, slightly puzzled as to why she was in his house, on his couch, "I'm not sure if we have met before."
"Spouse is my name, may I ask yours?" He asked, puzzled.
"Why, my name is Spouse!" She exclaimed.
Then a thought dawned on her, "Do you think we could be?"
But, at that moment, the Set Sputtered back to life, drawing their immediate attention.
Both set's of eyes where drawn to the set, and no thought was spared to the other person in the room.
So, whatever that last thought was, it was devoured by the T.V. and is lost to civilization forever.
As is the way of the T.V.
