Morgan was in a grove where apple trees grew. He liked his place. Noone from his family were here to clammer it up with their discussions. He didn't have to worry about offending anyone with his open nature. He had such a bleeding heart. He knew he wore on the nerves of other people being so outward with his feelings and opinions.

Then again, most of the men in his family were all rather straight forward types. His grandmother was fairly passive, and she was an ever present horse in his life. He got along with her great. In fact, the only people he didn't get along with sometimes were his siblings. Nothing beyond the normal...

Still, he had taken to going to the apple fields. He liked watching them. All summer their branches had grown and blossomed. Just like him...

Fall was slowly approaching, meaning the trees in the grove her father used to take her to would be full of juicy red apples. The mare liked this idea. Her thoughts were filled with food, as it had been days since Magaskawee had come down from the sky to search for food.

With a few well-practiced movements, the mare of the sky landed amongst the trees, oblivious to the fact that the stallion was only a few paces away from her. Instead of bothering to look around, the tall wind plucked an apple from its stem and nibbled dantily on it.

Apples were in fact rather tasty. This time of year, they were growing into their stage perfect for eating. Morgan had tasted some apple treats the human he lived near would make sometimes. He heard her talk about how during the autumn season; the apples were their sweetest. He had been taking walks through here ever since he grew into adulthood; and his grandmother would let him out of her sight. He had been walking and watching them grow.

He was passing through yet another row. Did humans plant some of them to grow in a certain space apart? Or, did mother nature do this? Did it all just grow naturally? How curious... And... How curious indeed... He became aware of a wind soquili nearby. He hadn't heard her arrive or land. He hadn't even smelled her. He wondered why that was.

He then walked up a little closer and plucked an apple down with his horn. However, he realized once he had gotten it down. How would he get it off the horn? He hadn't thought about that. He tried to scrape it off against a tree before he was caught with apple juice trickling down his opaque coat.

Magaskawee heard the tree rustle as Morgan managed to remove the apple from it. Her eyes widened as she peeked around the tree's trunk and saw the unicorn. The look on the mare's face lightened dramatically when she noticed the apple stuck on his horn. All she could think about was Midori and Amitola teasing each other. "Uhm... Do you need any help with that?" Her voice was cheery and sweet, which was quite odd for this particular mare. Usually, she was moping about, ignoring and avoiding others as best she could. Perhaps he caught her on a good day?

She had seen it. He sighed inwardly. How embarrassing. Still.. he did need help with it. Honesty seemed to be the better road.

"Yes. If you don't mind.. could you slide it off? I guess I miscalculated how to get it down. I best remember that I can't eat off my horn."

He winked playfully at her with a half laugh. He noticed her wings. Noone in his family had those kind of wings though he'd seen a few soquili here and there with them. They reminded him of birds.
