Israfel stood in the clearing, where he had heard that he was a father, waiting for Aly to come with the foals. It was finally time to introduce them to his parents now that they were old enough and he was pacing nervously back and forth. He was more worried about what his parents would think of him as a father than what they would think or say about Aly and the foals. He knew that him and Aly would never become lifemates, like his parents were, but he was okay with that. They had discussed it before the foals had come and they had both agreed that they would be there for the foals and try to take care of them the best way that they could until it was time that they would part ways. Even then they agreed to keep in contact as good friends for the foals sake. It wasn't that they didn't like each other, they just knew that things were not ment to be. His ears perked up as he heard the distant sounds of hooves coming his way.

 Oh, this was it. The meeting with Israfel's parents. Nervousness raced through Alyna's veins, and she walked anxiously towards the meeting place, her children in tow. What would his parents think? The situation...wasn't ideal, and she, or worse, the children, could be viewed poorly for it. Alyna may not have expected, or wanted, children just yet, but she loved them both more than life itself, and she didn't think she could stand it if they were looked down upon. Her beautiful babies deserved better than that. So, she was anxious for them more so than for herself, as she approached that fated meeting place.  Ocala, on the other hand, was romping around her mother's hooves, staying close to her as always. "Mama, Mama, when are we gonna get there?" Alyna smiled at her daughter. "Soon, sweetheart. Soon." Far too soon by Alyna's standards. She feared this day, the day where all would be uncovered and laid bare for his parents to judge.

"What about this one, Jazz?" Glow asked, lifting a pale waterlily, holding it out for Jazz to see. She was smiling happily, the nice happy day brightening her normally happy mood even further. She shifted a bit, the basket she held around her neck settling back, the flowers moving gently with the movement. She sighed softly as the wind blew through her mane, thinking. She haddn't seen their boys in a while. what were they up too? She wasn't sure. She'd seen Antirr more recently then his brother. Israfel...she missed her light colored son. She hopped he'd visit soon...

Israfel stopped as his ears picked up the sound of Aly and the children. He was a bit more calm now that he could hear that they were almost there. he chuckled a bit as he heard his daughter complain. He hoped she wasn't giving her mother too much trouble. Then his heart jumped a beat as this only ment that the meeting was drawing even closer.
Ramiel sighed at his sisters complaining and kept quiet following behind her and thier mother. He wasn't all too sure what was going on but he could sense that his mother was nervous about something.
Jazz smiled and inspected the flower as if he were seriously deciding whether or not it was great. Then he chuckled and nuzzled his mate. "That one looks fine to me. Honestly, whatever ones you pick would be perfect to me, so long as you are happy with them." he said and smiled at her with all the flowers they had gathered so far in a basket about her neck. She looked beautiful to him in the moment as she did in every other moment they were together. He then noticed her sigh and knew what she was thinking about. Thier sons were grown and off on thier own now and neither of them had heard from them in awhile. He knew it made her sad to be away from them but he hoped that Israfel atleast would visit sometime soon.

Alyna saw Israfel mere moments after she had spoken to her daughter. Smiling nervously at him, she led the foals up towards him, going to stand beside him. "Well...let's do this, shall we?"
Ocala ran up to Israfel happily. "Daddy!" she squealed, nuzzling his shoulder, the highest part of him she could reach. "So...what are we gonna do today? Can we play hide-and-seek?"
Ocala's antics always made Alyna smile. "Sweetheart, we're meeting your grandparents today. Be sure to be on your best behavior, ok?"
Ocala nodded, still glued to her father's side. "Well, that sounds fun enough, I guess."

Glow smiled softly and put the flower away. "Alright." she paused. "Jazz, i'm worried...I've seen Antirr rather recently, he checks in from time to time....but...well i hvn't seen Israfel...and its got me worried...what if something happened to him!" She said, a little pit of panic coming into her voice. She had hoped at least one of her sons would stay behind and live with her or Jazz so she could be around them. But both had disappered to their own lifes. And she was so frightened for them. And missed them terribly. "Oh i hate not knowing how our boys are..."

Jazz smiled at his mate and nuzzled her cheek, trying to rid her of her worry. He knew his sons were okay where ever they were and that they wouldn't be getting themselves into any trouble. "I am sure Israfel is doing just fine. He is a smart boy and wouldn't get himself into any trouble." he said reasurringly and bent down to pick another flower.
Israfel nodded at Aly as thier daughter came running up to him. He smiled down at her eager face and nuzzled her softly. "I'm sorry honey, we aren't going to play hide-and-seek today. Atleast not now." then looked to his son and then back to Aly. "Let us get a move on. I don't think your grandparents are too far away." he said as he gave Aly as brave a smile as he could muster.
Ramiel stood there a bit confused. His parents were acting weird and he couldn't understand why. They were nervous about something. Were they nervous about his grandparents? Were they bad Soquili? He was so confused.

Alyna smiled back weakly, leaning against Israfel slightly, taking comfort from his strength. "Then, let's go. Best get this over with, after all..."
Ocala wondered what the big deal was about. Grandparents were fun...weren't they? Why did her parents seem so worried about it? She didn't know, so she decided not to worry about it. She wiggled her way between her mother's legs and snuggled up against her. Maybe she'd be able to figure it out later.

Glow sighed and nodded, smiling. "Yes, he is smart. He is just fine." she repeated his line a few times. He had to be fine. She smiled softly and went to pick some more flowers. "I wonder when he will visit though." she said softly. She got a thought and giggled. "Mabye he's found himself a girlfriend and is scared to being her home!" she giggled again happily, much rather pictureing him with a mare then hurt and alone somewhere.

Jazz chuckled at his mate's giggles. He was glad she had found something positive to think on. "Now why would he be scared to bring her home?" he asked curious as to her reasoning behind the comment. He picked another flower and dropped it into the basket. His ears flicked as he heard the sounds of hooves coming thier way. By the sound of it, it seemed as if it was a whole family coming thier way.
Israfel smiled down at Aly as they walked. He knew his parent's wouldn't say anything bad to her nor would they harm her or the foals. He was going to be the one getting the brunt of the situation since it was his fault after all. Though he wasn't really sure if that would really be the case with his parents. They were really kind Soquili after all and may not have a second thought about it.
Ramiel stuck close to his father while his sister snuggled up to thier mother. He was thinking the same thoughts as she in that he would figure it all out once they got to where ever they were going.

Alyna knew that regardless of what happened, they would all get through it together. After all, Israfel was quite the gentleman, so...surely his parents would be that way, too. She smiled slightly, a sense of relief creeping into her being. It would all be okay. "Alright...let's do this thing."
Ocala ran out from under her mother's legs, prancing beside her brother. She smiled at him, happy just to be with her family. She wasn't concerned at all with whatever was going to happen. In her mind, the world was perfect.
