It had been a while since she had left the pridelands with hte young male companion. She felt a little foolish allowing one so young to follow her on her adventures but he was kind and sweet natured sos he had appreciated his company. He helped her to hunt and listened when she needed an ear.

It had been a bit of a surprise when she fell pregnant. he was so young and she, well she had grown up children of ehr own some where in the world, children the same as as the young male. Still he had stuck by her as her walking slwoed and her game limb ached more. She had refused to stop, to settle, finding it easy enought o keep going though her leg gained mroe of a limp as her belly grew larger.

The jungle had loomed upon them and she had slipped through the undergrowth and found a place to rest, to sleep and relax while the sweet young male catered to her needs. She was greatful to him though she wondered what sort of father he would be to the babes growing inside of her.

They had lain together for a couple of weeks in the jungles womb, it was as wonderful as she had imagined and the smile on ehr maw hardly ever went away. She spoke in hushed tones to the babes growing inside of her, told them of the wonderful place they would be born in to, of the green treed and the scent of the rain always upon the air.

Tai had gone out in the early hours that day, off to hunt for food. her leg had become a complete hinderance to ehr she could barely put her weight on it as her belly had swollen putting extra pressure on her leg, so she had simply smiled and nuzzled him greatfuly before laying back and returning to a uncomfortable slumbre.

She had not slept for long though, as pains woke her from her doze. Letting out a slow depe breath she stood and lay down again fidgeting uncomfortably. She knew it was time, she had done this before, given birth to tiny beings whom would populate the world. Little creatures that would once again raise a smile upon her maw.

It was a painful process but one by one she pushed the tiny furred bundles from her womb, three in all, a daughter first, bareing colours she did not have on her person, she assumed these colours hailed from Tai and she smiled. Tais girl.

The next child a boy, very similar to herself. His deep khaki coloured fur made her smile, this was teh cub she had been waiting for, his fur not unlike her other sons.

Finally a third child broke his way in to the world and she groomed him lovingly, he bore her markings though none of her colours, a twin to the otehr boy though he bore strikingly differnt colours.

Resting her head at last she gazed down at the three tiny bundles of fluff. "Hello my darlings." She whispers lifting her head tiredly and touching each one indevidually whispering their names to them, letting them know that everything would be okay, that they were welcome in the world and that she would always protect them. This was her promise to them as she curled ehr body around the still slightly damp bundles and slept.
