There are not enough ways to explain how great of an author Lynsay Sands is. She's hilarious and is wonderful at writing romance. Haven't read her? Check her out. Read her? Discuss and say what your favorite novels of hers were. I'll update this later with a list of her novels. Until then, here is her website: http://www.lynsaysands.net/Even to this date my favorite of all of her novels is Single White Vampire. Its hilarious and it was the first one I read. How can you not love a story about a Vampire who writes romance novels for a living? Argeneau Family Single White Vampire Love Bites Tall, Dark and Hungry A Quick Bite A Bite to Remember Bite Me If You Can The Accidental Vampire Vampires Are Forever Vampire, Interrupted The Rogue Hunter

I haven't read all the books the evil evil library I go to keep ordering the last books released every time I put in an order for the book (I did that six times). I love her sense of humor even though sometimes I had to quickly close the book and say she did not just do THAT. I feel sad for Marguerite. All those years suffering because of her stupid husband and sister-in-law.

I actually picked up Single White Vampire, intending to read it, but I had to return it to the library before I had a chance. I definitely need to check her out now, though.

I adored Single Whit Vampire , Tall Dark and Hungry and A Bite To Remember but I must say that her most recent works are not as good as the first three I mentioned, even though I more recently enjoyed Vampires Are Forever, The Accidental Vampire has got to be the worst vampire book I have ever read, maybe even just THE WORST sweatdrop
It was basically about a bunch of 60 to 80 and Gawd forbid, even 90 year olds biblically getting to know hot vampires in their prime, I get that they're hundreds even centuries years old but they don't look it and EWWW. Mental images. No, just...no. talk2hand

I have to say that's what go to me in Accidental Vampire. As soon as the younger vamp started looking at the 80 year old lady I kept thinking ewwwwwwwww. Especially when they start going at it. I wanted to cry because of all the horrible mental images. I mean really hot vamp who looks 20+ 80 year old human lady + intercourse= a barf marathon for the ages.

Of Lynsay's Argeneau novels I’ve read, single white vampire, Love bites, Tall dark and hungry, A bite to remember, A quick bite, and Vampire are Forever. I love them all xd , she uses a scientific approach to vampires and gives them a different angle

Here's the synopsis for the new book coming out. I can't wait xd
Rogue Hunter: An Immortal Who Protects The World From Renegade Vampires
Samantha Willan is a workaholic lawyer. She's grateful for some rest and relaxation in cottage country, and after a recent break-up she wants to stay as far away from romance as possible. Then she meets her irresistible new neighbor. There's something strange and mysterious about his eyes. Is it just her imagination, or are they locked on her neck?
Garrett Mortimer is a rogue hunter. His last assignment united Lucian Argeneau with his life mate, and Mortimer is hoping this one will be less... adventurous. He's here to track down a reported rogue, but fun in the sun is every bloodsucker's nightmare. Worse, he can't seem to get his mind off Samantha, especially when he spies her skinny-dipping in the lake. After eight hundred years as a bachelor, is he ready to turn a volatile attraction into a lasting love affair?

Nice!! Always exciting to hear about something new.
And now for a different opinion... cool
I actually loved The Accidental Vampire. I thought the pace moved along better than some of the other books, and I enjoyed the dry humor...in fact, I thought some of the one-liners were hilarious. As for the age thing...the vamps may look young, but mentally and emotionally they're anything but. I like that the author took a turn away from the norm.
To each their own I guess... wink

To each their own I guess... wink I agree. The Accidental Vampire was actually one of my favorites. It was funny and it took a turn that I didn't really expect. At first, I thought it would be a horrible idea for her to make a book about Victor. I mean, she only mention him once in the entire series. But it turned out great. Better than I had ever thought it would be. And, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I thought it was way better than Thomas book. I have to say, Vampires are Forever was a total disappointment for me. T.T

My problem with Vampires are forever is the whole chasing after Marguerite thing. She's how old? She can take care of herself... although in her book I felt sad that she was separated from her real love, mind wiped + controlled, and all those horrible things.

I'm starting to not like her right now though. I'm reading a couple f the books earlier in the series and Marguerite is starting to annoy me.
