Christine Feehan is one of my favorite authors. The only problem I have is that it gets a little bit repetitive for her dark series. Her non-series books are great. I wish she continued with the leopard series. 3nodding

Repetitive would the word for her Carpathian series, all the males are basically the same guy, all alpha with different physical features but essentially, the SAME guy LOL

I much prefer her Ghostwalkers series, hotter, more intelligent romance with great diversity between the heroes (heck, even the twins were completely different).

I've only read a few of her Carpathian books last year. I need to check out her Nightwalkers series, since I keep hearing that it's better.

I've gotten all her books but I didn't start on that series yet. What do you think about her Drake Sister series?

Rose: I liked the Drake Sisters series well enough. I never did read the first one, but I do plan to finish the books once the series is complete, I'm more insterested in the last two sisters then the other ones though...

Tiggermyk: As long as you can follow the science in her Ghostwalker series, it is soooo worth reading, and I can usually follow the science so it's not that hard. I liked the characters more, and the conpiracy in it...

While there are a few Carpathian books that I loved soo much (and I'm dying to get my hands on Skylar's book) but on the whole, it got repetitive and strange and really random with all the "plot twists" I'll still collect the books... once the series is complete... I would rather suggest the "Ghostwalker" series over the "Carpathian" series.

I only read the first in the Darke sisters. Is the Ghostwalker really scientific? Science was my worst class xd

XD It's alright, I guess I would say yes but it makes a LOT of sense. Which is what I said about the series as being 'intelligent' and well researched. But they're quality romances, not clichéd or anything and that's what I love about them, really, it's worth it because once you get over the 'scientific' parts, the romance is scorching, the Carpathian males have NOTHING on her Ghostwalkers! 3nodding

I didn't really like reading about her Carpathian males as they were the same guy, I agree.
I stopped after the third book. But I did like Dark Gold.

Could some one give me run down on her Ghostwalker series? I've not had the chance to read it, but i did like the drake sisters, and the Leopard series.

I agree with everyone about the Carpathian books they reached a point where it was just repeating itself.

I'll give it a go smile They're basically about genetically modified soldiers who find their mates amongst equally genetically modified -missing- females who were experimented on by a mad-genius-crazy-cruel scientist as babies and each one is named after a flower (Dahlia, Briony, Lily) or a season (Winter). Each pair compliments the other's 'abilities', sonic voice+sensitivity to sound etc etc and their powers are enhanced when together, it's very 'electric and as a reviewer said, 'sexually charged' lol

I've read all of the Carpathian books. They can be pretty repetitive and it gets a little sometimes. I love the Ghostwalkers, but I never got into the Drake sisters. I think I only read one of the books.

LOL well the only way you can look at the Carpathian series is like if you like the first book and how everything is you can later read another book almost the same you can pick another book in the series and there. I hope I'm making sense.

(Partially Reposted from Currently Reading) Currently reading Dark Celebration. I've never read any of the Carpathian books, so I wasn't sure I could get into it, but I'm actually enjoying it. I want to read more about Dimitri and Skylar...but I guess their book is not out yet. I also want to read the first book...and then we'll see from there.

For anyone who has read all of the Carpathian Series...do you have any favorites/recommendations?

The only other Feehan book I've read was one of the Ghostwalker stories...hmmm, the name is escaping me at the moment...maybe Predatory Game? The one with the guy in the wheelchair. Despite my memory loss, it was actually pretty good. wink
