Toleranth sat admist the tables, the group of women that traveled from the delta to sit in on talks were flanked by the hundreds of men they brought with them. He knew they had chosen already who would be their canidate for ruling. Merril, ignored everyone else her eyes were on Toleranth she had a soft smile on her face that spelled one of two things. She already new what was going to happen, or the second they failed to get it the bloodshed would begin.
The old king stood up; "I'm thankful all of those who have come to this gathering, I haven't much time left and i have recieved many people wishing their names placed into the stack before me as potential sucessors. I have sorted them out and these names remain, Lord Toleranth your name was submitted by Lady Isabella who acted as your mentor during your proceedings to become qualified. Merril, headmistress of the lighting demon tribes, her lifetime spent here immedately qualifes her as a canidate. These two are the final choices I have come to debate myself over, because each possess what i find as traits neccessary. However I am old, and though the decision is mine to make I wish for your thoughts on the matter. So anyone wishing to speak please stand and be heard."
---------------------------
Isabella was reading a text on the hill beside Tolly's residence. The archway in the path leading away from the house bean to glow and this caught Isabella's attention. She set the text aside and stood up just as the center crackled to life and A large dragon skidded through it destroying the arch, but he wasn't alone as he ended up on his back. He was clutching someone close to him.
She ran to them and went to touch the dragon and pulled her hand back for it burned to touch him. He was that cold, and taking off her robe she used it to shield herself from the cold as she scrambed up to the person. She stopped seeing it looked more of a child then a adult. She bent down expecting the worst, but she felt warm to the touch. The poke of something sharp at her back told her the dragon was not dead. "What manner of person are you to attack the defenseless?"
Isabella spoke rather calmly; "I am but a mere child as you can see, but I am the assisstant of Lord Toleranth. Ruler of your kin, But I was coming out of concern for the woman to whom you have grasped tightly to your chest." Toole moved his hand; "She will wake in a few minutes, but please help her down as i am very tired from the travel and expense of energy to get here."
Isabella gathered Ailes up the best she could, and brought ehr down off Toole to let her rest on the softer grass. She covered her up with the robe she was wearing as toole managed to get on to his feet and lowered onto his stomach. Isabella turned to Toole; "your father is down at the palace in a meeting."

A few hours pass and Ailes stirs from her slumber. she glances around to notice that she is no longer on in that horrible place she had been trapped in all her life. where Akuma lost her life, defending her beloved sister...
Ailes curls back into a ball of covers and cries herself back to sleep, recalling her sisters assassination. it ripped her apart to think that she couldnt save her. her sister wore the Lapis Lazuli, and she couldnt even save herself... with Ailes being born with the Rose Quartz... how could she have done anything for her? she was useless.

Elda stood from her spot next to the empty chair for the Rodasian ruler, "While my lord Dios is regretfully absent at this time, he would like it known that he puts his support behind one, Lord Toleranth."
Flipping a page on her clipboard, Elda continued, "Furthermore, he finds the other candidate, Lady Merril, to be charming but lacking in the capacity to rule a realm. While she has done an admirable job in ruling the Lightning Tribes, he feels that she will find a hard time in the responsibilities of rulng an entire realm. That is all."
She sat back in her chair, and began to scrawl on yet another page on her clipboard, keeping half an ear on the proceedings.

A black cat slinked into the palace, unnoticed. Any guards who saw the cat, went on their way thinking that the small animal belonged to one of the various courtiers of the palace. Of course, getting subconsciously nudged to that thought either didn't help.
Kaiser slunk around, listening to all the gossip. There were plenty of tidbits that the Moonlight Organization would care to know about. The canidates, for one, was the most important.
He had that. On a strange whim, he decided to see if he could sneak into the throne room.
Two potential canidates, hmm? The Headmistress would be easy to eliminate. The Dragon? He'd take longer to die. he thought to himself as his assassin training kicked in. Spy work, I am not cut out for. Though, this is pretty damn easy and important work. he continued.
He heard the king's announcement and paused mid-licking his paw.
Interesting.

Isabella heard Ailes stir and setting her spoon and text aside she moved over carrying a seperate tray with her to set on the edge of the bed. "Lady Ailes, please you must eat something, Toole said you had nothing to eat before you left, and he has not left your side since I brought you inside until a minute ago when i chased him with a broom to a bed. He made me swear Lady Ailes, swear that I would look after you till he woke up, so please eat for me?"
Isabella set the tray down on the chair she was sitting in after getting up. "Please, i know you are hearing me, but i will give you peace." Isabella withdrew back to the table, and leaving her book lie she picked up her spoon to lade a few spoons, of her now cold soup, into her mouth.

And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down.Lili sat in the adjacent room leaning with her ear to the door, listening carefully. She had been hired to help care for the castle and in return was getting help figuring out her potential in magic. A kind old lady from the kitchen had taught her how to make brooms sweep and sheets fold themselves; however the pillows kept spitting feathers at her. She was quite interested in the gossip floating around the realms, as she knew few people, and always tried to make a good impression.
When Lili heard the news of Lord Toleranth being supported by someone, she quickly darted up the stairs to tell the old woman that had become like a mother to her. His son had been quite nice to Lili in the past and she hoped that he would be the one who was chosen. At the same time she worried for both of their safety, as she had heard of the awful people out to take the king's place. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow.

Ailes opens one of her eyes. the once warm blue color was filled with coldness. she throws the covers off and sits up. completely ignoring the fact that Isabella is there she walks out of the room. she wanders the halls of the large house, clinging to her fathers ring, that was given to her moments before Akuma passed away. she walks pass a maid who just stares at the haunted look on her face. her pale face, icy eyes, and thin white nightgown makes her look dead herself. her long flowing blond hair is now dulled and tinted gray. the maid is in awe as she looks down the hall to see the hallway in which Ailes had just come from was coated in a light frost. a chill went down the maids spine as she watches Ailes pass. she looks at her dress to see the frost crawling up her, lacing the edge of her skirt and burning her bare skin. Ailes gets to the end of that hall and looks back at the trembling maid. the maid slowly curtsies and runs away. The door to Ailes room bursts open as the terrified maid flails into Isabella's arms. The panicked maid looks up at Isabella and mutters, "my god Lady Isabella, what a disturbed young girl..."

Isabella sighed; "Lock down the house, and which way was she heading?" She was heading towards the back of the residence, Isabella, be careful, I think she's and ice demon, and your wind attacks are useless against her." Isabella glared at the maid; "I didn't get this far on just my magic alone, I plan to talk with her first, and you're a fire demon and you let her waltz by you." "I'm sorry, but just the look in her eyes was warning enough, besides i was worried about you as well."
Isabella nodded heading for the door; "You have your orders see to it they are executed quickly."
--------------------------
Isbella only had to follow the trail of damp floors and cold air to find Ailes. She slid into a wall, and pushing off it she changed direction to get ahead of Ailes. "Hey, lady Ailes, listen we need to talk, because i need to know. What about my words earlier upset you. I mean seriously i didn't think i was being all that rude to you, but if your upset i sure we can at least come to amends of sort."

Ailes eyes glided up from the floor to meet Isabella, "you did nothing to trigger this... forgive me... i am filled with great sorrow... excuse me." she glides past Isabella in pursuit of the kitchen.

And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down.Lili made it half-way up the stairs when she noticed the black cat. "Oh what a cutie!!!" whee She quickly picked him up and cuddled him while walking towards the kitchen on the opposite end of the castle. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow.

Isbella ran to get back in front of her and back peddled to keep the distance the same. "So your grieving, that is great, i don't know who, nor do I wish you to tell me right now. However, if anything can you stop freezing the corridors. I mean there is grieving, and then there is scaring the hell out of everyone around you." Isabella backed into a wall and shot a glance left and noticed the wall and shot right to th entryway of the kitchens.

And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down.Lili walked into the kitchen and set the cat down in a laundry basket and then put another one on top, creating a make-shift kennel. She then walked over to the sink and started to fill it with soap and warm water. When she realized that she didn't have a brush or a towel, she headed into the joining laundry room to find what she needed. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow.

Kaiser was Not Amused. Leaping off the table, he tranformed into his regular body, and proceeded to cloak himself. He would have to wait for the girl to come back. Once she did that... He'd coerce her into at least telling him where the hell the throne room was. He got lost in this maze of corridors.
It was annoying, and all in all, he was Not Amused.

And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down.Lili walked into the room with a stack of towels and brushes, blocking her vision. She slipped in a puddle of water that had formed from overflowing the sink and landed flat on her back. It was quite a misfortune that she had fallen, but on the upside, the towels had also blocked her view of Kaiser dressing and kept her safe of even more embarrassment. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow.
