(( This liek.. random private RP, made in a thread cuz liek.. Both of us need to poof sooner or later, so we dun want it to be eaten in pages at SW, and threads also easier, cuz we can just post when we have the time. :'D ))

((Ok.. Start start.. >3 ))

Gyani was chasing a rabbit alongside the river's bank, she knew they culden't swim, but seemingly, it was desperate.

"Ugh, soggy rabbit, wonder how that tastes. " The blue femme muttered, padling to the bank with a soaked dead rabbit in her jaws, no need to explain, it was obvious. The cool water refreashed her skin as it slipped through her fur, wolves not having that cool unpenetrable tipe of coat, but did it mater? No. She found it refreshing. <3
Finally, the female scrabbled to the bank, the rabbits limp body now hung, then dropped while Gyani shook he fur dry.

"Too. Wet. To. Eat. " Grumble grumble, schwar, how horrible, wet rabbit didn't taste as good, how culd she dry it before rot? Behold wolves, today was the day were canines wuld have a dryer! RUN LIKE HELL! >0 Grabbing the dead body by the scruff, Gyani started to run, head slightly sideways, for it to get more wind and dry faster, this was merely an attempt to dry, though very tyring.

An equally-soggy object is lying, stretched-out, on the bank, halfway in and halfway out of the water. It's so waterlogged that the thing is almost not recognizable as a canine, but it is one - back legs trailing in the water, forepaws curled backwards, head turned involuntarily inwards, like a pup trying to huddle close to its mother for warmth.

But no pup is this - it's a large male, so wet and dirty that one can almost not see the stripes that are splayed down his forehead and neck. His breath comes in a wheeze, and it sounds like it hurts. His ribcage rises and falls spasmodically.

Then, suddenly: two sharp, short, stacatto coughs are given out, and the wolf goes into a hacking fit, coughing up water. It takes him several moments before the episode passes, and he's free to concentrate on breathing again. His eyes are shut tight, as if he weren't certain he wanted to open them - or maybe it were just too much effort.

He gives no indication whatsoever that he's heard the commotion nearby...except, seemingly, one ear weakly turns towards Gyani and the rabbit.

At the tip of moment Gyani tokto direct her eyes at the rabbit, was just enough toget her almost trampling over poor Shilah, his scent was hidden enough under the scent of the rabbit between her jaws and his own pelt state(Mud, water all soggy, can hide a bit. xD ) that Gyani only saw him when it was almost to late. "HOLY! " She yelped, leaping over the sprawled wolf's side just in time, but not landing that well and stubling, rabit flinging from her mawand flying, thankfully, next to a tree, and not in the water.
"Ouuui. x.o;; " The blue and black femme stamered, slowly plucking her head from the ground and looking at the male. "Whats up with justlying there?! ' She demanded, wich wasent usualy Gyani, probably it was just a burst, but it hit her, he didn't look good.

".. Who are you..? " Stammered, compleetly. Those fain bron marks.. He was a little familiar... It hit her like a ton of bricks. He was the male that had been with the human that day! Wasen't he? She tooka wiff of air, this time deeper to find more scents-- it wa shim! Shilah! Scrabbling to her paws, the female wandered over to him, as if trying to make sure he was alive, but rather to see his real condition. "Shilah.. You don't look to good. You don't look good in any way at all! " Gyani's voice was but a whisper, perhaps like Kage he had got a problem while going to drink water, or something of the sort..?

The bedraggled wolf flinches, involuntarily, more at the noise than anything...his eyes are still very much shut and closed off to the rest of the world. But whatever the case, his ears seem to still function, and they twist wearily, painfully, around.

The words seem to penetrate his consciousness from somewhere far away, almost as if the words themselves were delayed...or perhaps their meaning is. In any case, deep blue eyes, so oddly dark in his light features, open. The pupils look slightly odd, and don't move all that well, almost as if he had suffered a brief concussion. He closes them again, fighting the urge to throw up more water.

The moment passes, and he wearily opens them again, lifting his head, which feels like someone's attempting to pin it down. Eyes focus on a black and blue female wolf in front of him, in the water, looking slightly wet herself, and with a rabbit nearby. Dead rabbit. He forces himself not to look at it, it makes him quite sick to his stomach again. He trembles, involuntarily.

She looks familiar, but his brain has trouble placing her precisely. Damnit. He's feeling a bit sorry for himself at this point, which is probably a sign that he won't die. It's quite a pity, it'd probably be nice to.

"Went down river," he croaks, except it comes out gibberish. He tries again, and this time succeeds, although his words are slightly slurred. "Dragged under current. Drank half the bloody thing. Where's Kaya?"

Gyani tilted her head, he didn't seem quite.. The same wayas he had when she first saw him, but probably because of what he just said 'went down river', a wolf culden't really be quite..Happy after that.

Kaya She thought, Kaya was the only good human in the world, as she described it, right? Tilting her head, the she-wolf thought a bit,she had only seen Kaya that once. "Kaya..? I don't know where she is.. " The femme's voice trailed, quite unsure of what to do-- what if the girl was alone? Surely there were wolves that wuld killa human with no hesitating, and that wuld be the last of a worth-it-human!

Now what? She wondered, not sure of what to do, what was there to do? Wait till he was ale to walk and thenhelp him find the human..? That seemed like the option.

Her name finally comes to him, albeit slowly. "Gyani..." He murmurs, brows furrowing as he tries to focus, and finds everything suddenly blurry. If his eyes would please stop playing tricks with him, perhaps he'd feel a bit better.

"Went down the river with me." His voice seems a bit stronger, and he tries to heft himself up a bit more, but only comes away with being frightfully dizzy, as if the world were falling away beneath him. He sinks back to the ground, ears curving sluggishly back onto his head. "Didn't see much after awhile, though. Just a lot of water." Everywhere. Pulling him down. His eyes unfocus for a moment, as if he were staring at something else. "Dunno where she went." He doesn't want to look at water again. Ever.

He seems to pull himself together enough to look at the she-wolf again, and not through her, but at her. On a completely unrelated note, seemingly: "Where were you going?" He winces and lets out a very low whine as he struggles into an upright position. The dizziness almost overwhelms and blinds him, then slowly recedes to a throbbing ache in his skull.

"Nowhere, really. " She managed, if a wolf was like this, how wuld Kaya be? Well, maybe thanks to hands she pulled herself out? Gyani culden't know. "I was just drying my rabbit, dosen't taste good when you get it-- " Pause, Gyani wuld rather change the subject then say the next word-- Drowned. That was what almost hapened to him, why wuld she just keep bringing it up?!

Change subject it was then. "Do you want to go find Kaya..? " she asked nimbly, though quite sure he wulden't want to be walking to much, he had barely even got up.. :<

That was probably quite prudent of Gyani. As of now, he'd cheerfully live in a desert. A nice, dry desert, with no water anywhere. Or at least Shilah won't be drinking water anytime soon....

"Sounds like a good idea," He comments, swallowing experimentally once or twice. When nothing else comes up, his attitude improves, although his weariness, stance, and appearance don't. He closes his eyes for a brief, pained moment. "I haven't a clue why frogs love water so much." He shakes weakly, splattering water around, but dislodging little of the liquid. He'll have to sun-dry, in the last of what's left of the sun, anyway.

He shakes his head, however. "Later, when I'm feeling more up to it." Loyalty to your pack and sibling is one thing, but he'll be absolutely no use if he collapses. Shilah's quite the practical sort, even if his pride is a bit wounded by this episode...but perhaps it's good for him. He allows himself a brief smile. "Sorry if I scared you."

Gyani blinked, why do frogs like water? Well, that she didnt know. So, make something up in her mind? "They're the aquatic version of rabbits, maybe? " She said, a slight joke in there, the only resemblance were the leaps! But hey, frogs culden't go fine without water, and rabbits without land, so maybe that..?

But those thoughts were interupted with the scare part. "Its fine, ive seen worse.. Lots worse. o.x; " True, she had seen much worse, but the more recent-- Gaara. The brown wolf still did spook her a bit, but there were no reasons to mention, right?

He can't help but laugh at that - his lungs ache in response, and he goes off into another coughing fit before he can respond intelligently.

"Must be. They hop as good as them...although something about water must make them taste downright nasty." He doesn't really enjoy fish, either. Too...watery.

He offers her a weary grin as he watches her. "Glad that I don't look as bad as I feel, then, at any rate." He stretches, stiff and achey all over, and wipes a paw across his face.

Gyani tilted her head, he was probably horrible if he culdent even laugh! >__> Now she knew what a 'mad' river culd cause.

"Fish smells worse then rabbit. ' she stated, the female herself rarely ate fish, mostly only when she was very hungry.

She tilted her head athis last dtatement. He looked.. Bad, and he he didn't look as bad as he felt.. Then.. Wow! He must be in quite a bit of pain then, evil river!ut what about Kaya..? "If you feel so bad, shulden't you find a better place to rest..?" She suggested nimbly, ears giving a slight twich back with the buzzing of flies gathering at the rabit, well, now it was gone, no wayshe culd scare out so many flies, some were stubborn, and those thigs were never tasty.

"Well, if you know of one, by all means, let's head for it," He says, grimly amused. "But I'm afraid I haven't the faintest clue where I am." Being washed down a river will do that to a wolf. His brain feels muddled, and all this shoreline is unfamiliar to him. He might've gone miles without knowing it. He could be so incredibly far away from Kaya and Istas...the thought makes his ears slink back against his head a tad.

But as least Gyani's around, and she should know the way back...or at least back to an area he knows. And it's nice to have company - he's a wolf, he thrives on socialization. And Gyani is just plain nice, too. So, with a little tail-wag, he offers her a wane smile. "Lead on, o' hunter."
PostPosted: Fri Sep 30, 2005 2:07 pm

Gyani rolled her eyes, though it wasent boredom, it was actually sorta unny 'o hunter! Psh, she rarely slept in dens, usualy, she wuld settle to under a tree. >3
Trees! yes, there were those.. Fallen and hollow trees, ad she sorta had a feeling she knew about one... Yesh.. There had been one she saw while hunting the very rabbit that was now covered in flies and ants, waste of food, in her mind. she had seen it, but not exactly apyed attention, just enough to know it was.. Usable.
"The hnter sais this way! " She made a joke with Shilah's own words and talked in third person, though reffering to herself with a new name, and got up, walking towards the way she came from.

A grin flicks across the striped male's features, and he follows, but more slowly. Actually, he doesn't hurt, just aches all over; and he's stiff and wobbly from his prolonged period in the water. It'll be nice to lie down for awhile. But his limbs feel more stable the longer he goes, even if they're more tired, until he doesn't have to continue to think about walking. He trails behind Gyani, happily oblivious to everything that's going on around him.

"Is it too far?" He quips after a few minutes, ears tilting forward.
