hi evry1! this is lacus again lol.
im hoping this week that i will be able to host a little poetry slam. but since his guild doesnt have much members im hoping there will be l8er^^
the poetry slam is when u just express urself with words. u may use lyrics if u want but it has to be your words!!!
just start ur poem by first posting [slam!]
after that u may begin ur poem/lyrics
and after august, me and my crew will decide the winner.

~Who I Am~
When the sun has risen,
And time runs strong.
I wonder...
When the sun has fallen,
And the moon has been lifted.
When the waters have calmed,
And time has frozen.
I wonder...
Every second, minute, and day
Of my life I wonder,
Who am I?
Am I a lost bewildered blossom that has fallen from an old whithered tree?
Or a plant sprouting out of the soil?
Am I a wanderer traveling the world in search of wonders?
Or am I just a loner looking for my place in the world?
Am I a fragment from a sweet dream?
Or a dark silhouette shadow from a nightmare?
Am I a ghost from the past?
Or a prediction of the future?
Am I a dreamer or a wisher?
A writer or a thinker?
A hero or a fantasy?
An angel or a demon?
An artist or a painter?
A friend?
A traitor?
A consumer?
Or am I a giver?
With so many thoughts running through my head,
I don't even know if I'm any one of these thoughts.
But there's one thing I know for sure.
I am me.

wow yuna, that was beautiful and very well thought of ^^
it was breathtaking the way ur phrases worked, absolutely lovely!
zevilgirl, ur phrases are very nice too, very deep and sincere, almost haunting and mysterious too.
my-superstar, urs was very nice, it had a little hint of evry emotion i was thinking about, ur phrases worked well with the words u chose, very nice.
and micheal le, i dont know where to begin...
ur otomatopoeia was outrageously fantastic! u used one of the
main points and details that make up poetry, it was lively and fun!
i enjoyed all of ur poems very much. any1 else want to submit a poem?
the deadline is nxt month around when the collectibles open^^
i'll submit my poem too, but it will be a fair choice^~

~Cold as night, Bright as day~

Throughout the cold night, owls hoot and spiders come out.
all is quiet through the feilds and valleys.
The night gleams with the moon's bright shine,
like a disk of white foam were in the sky,
When the moon goes down and around the way,
the thing to shine now is the time of day,
so strong and earnest is this light, we gather our
things and ready our day.
the sun so bright and golden yellow, as if the stars
fire seeped and shallowed, all the
darkness seems all gone.
all the coldness seems not strong, but
is the road of dreams awakened?
are all the valleys minds outspoken?
when the time is right, and when the light is fine,
either darkness or gold may outshine the beaming
road of life.
i dont think its finished exaclty but i wrote it last yr for english lol
i dug into my backpack and found some old poems i wrote ^^
i was too lazy and tired to come up with anything new lol >.<
i loved all of ur work, and when there are more submitters i will read what u wrote and i will enjoy evry one of them!

well...i gotta say those were so...so....i dont know where to start, but they were so good! its like a pizza with every topping on it! lol
Lets see if i can top those poems...
“The Three Monkeys”
Three monkeys were stranded on an island
Far, far away from the mainland
Samo, Jimbo, and Bobbo their names were
And where they were, they weren’t really sure
Very hungry, that they were
Bananas were what they prefer
But no food was found at the shore
So they had to venture further and explore
Into the island’s forest they went
And it was too late to resent
And yet, Jimbo and Samo ran back
But Bobbo kept following his track
Then Bobbo stumbled
Upon a hill and tumbled
Down and down he fell
His only thought was falling to Hell
Crash! He landed on the ground
All safe and sound
He looked all around him
And what he saw made him forget about Sam and Jim
Where he arrived was a monkey’s paradise
Then he rubbed his eyes twice
And then said, “This place is all that I’ve dreamed of!
This has got to be better than love!”
i made this in 7th grade...and i dug it up under some files in my comp ^.^
