Lost. Misdirected. Left more lost than before. The lithe female moved across the open savanna in broad daylight, no care in the world to hide. She was not hunting. She did not care if others could see a freak like her. Her body was short and lithe as a leopard but her physique was as strong as any lion. Still, she had already seen some parts of today to know that she was going to make it through the day without any harm, but that still ticked her off. She didn't know what was going to happen to her.

"Pride Lands. The land of golden pelt lions. They said to head that way and I'll find what I've been looking for..."

The lilac female lowered her head with a sigh and her ears back. Who was she kidding? Miles did not love her, he said all those things and did everything... yet where was he now? Why did feel so alone? She was so proud to be the daughter of Limbuko and her mother, and yet she cursed to be seen as a freak.

At least in her own mind.

As thoughts continued to roam her mind, she pushed herself to continue aimlessly toward the pride lands... wherever they were. With the sun coming close to it's slumbering time, it meant she too will have to find a place to hide away for the approaching night.

"Well, if yah wanta sing out, sing out,
An' if yah wanta be free, be free,
'Cause there's a million ways to be,
Yah know that there are!"

The sunset always made Zuru want to sing. There was just something about the colors, the last kiss of heat across his face, and the lengthening shadows that inspired him to let loose. While he was certainly no bird, Zuru thought that he at least could hold a tune, and what he lacked in style, he made up for in volume.

Zuru belted out the next verse, putting the joy he felt into the music, as he wandered down yet another dusty trail, his tail swinging slowly back and forth, erasing his footsteps from the ground.

"And if yah wanta live high, live high,
And if yah wanta live low, live low,
'Cause there's a million ways ta go,
Yah know that there are!"

The voices that split the night ear caused the leopon to perk her ears for the sound. Such a voice was rare, and what surprised, it was a male's. Last she checked, not many had the voice to sing, let along having the urge to. Males and their masculinity problems with their urges to compare themselves to others to seem superior... then again, she did kinda liked those kinda males but to an extent.

Curious, she deterred from the path toward the sound of the singing.

"Live high, live high. Live low, live low, huh?" She cooed softly as she got close. From where stood, he looked like her... He had the appearance of the lions and his tail looked like an extended leopard's tail. It made her feel a little more comfortable knowing that this male could be one like her. A Leopon.

"It seems I am living a little high right now," She sat herself a decent, respectable distance away and smiled. "My name is Limbua, would you mind me asking for your name, my singing stranger?"

Something about this male was rubbing her strange and she was sorta liking it.

Zuru had neglected to notice the presence of the female so close to him, thanks in part to the brightness of the setting sun, but also thanks to his absorption in his song. As it was, he quickly broke off, and looked to see who had hailed him. From the sound of it, it was a female. Zuru grinned charmingly in the direction of the voice, whose owner was at the moment a brilliantly outlined, shapely silhouette.

"Best way ta live, ifn's yer askin' me, miss." he replied, chuckling at being caught singing. It wasn't often he had an audience. "This ol' crow apologizes ifn's he's deafened ya. The name's Zururuka. Most folks jus' call me Zuru, though. It's a right fine pleasure to meet ya, Limbua."

She smiled as she stood before the creature. Soft lilac eyes looked over his brilliant form; patterns unseen in many of the colors of the field of flowers, strong blue eyes, and such a soft shade for a mane. "You are no crow, I have met my fair share of crows. You, sir, are no crow. And since I am able to reply to you, my ears are just fine. I am glad they were able to listen to such a melodious voice such as yours."

The seer turned her head to the sky as she watched the sun slowly, silently cross the sky. "Most call me, Bu, it... sounds more like an individual rather being easily drawn to my father," Limbua chuckled.

She stretched with a soft mew. Her leopon form exaggerated her lioness physique with that of a leopardess', but held the power and strength of both species. Such a slender and tender form.

"What are you doing way out here, Zuru? I don't often see many leopons like me around. I thought we were a... rare species."

"Well, Ah thank ye kindly then, Bu." Zuru replied, pleased in spite of himself that a pretty lady thought he had a nice voice. He also appreciated how she stretched. It took talent to show off that much sleek muscle while looking perfectly nonchalant about it.

The leopon comment drew him up short, however. Leopon? While Zuru's smile was the smile of a laid-back rogue, his mind was trying make sense of the term. She was a leopon. Wasn't she a leopard? No, no that he looked past the pretty, he could see the fine blend of lion and leopard in her face and tail. It was actually quite becoming, but the loneliness behind her last sentence cautioned him from casual denial.

Thinking cleverly, Zuru oh so slowly cast an illusion over his features, adding a hint of leopard to his physical structure. If she thought he was a leopon, where was the harm in being one for a little bit?

"Oh, Ah'm jus' seein' the sights." he replied as he did so, stretching a little bit himself to help hide the changes. "It's a big world, after all. Lots to see."

Limbua giggled and watched him carefully. "It is nothing but an honest compliment. What is there to say but the truth?" Soft lilac eyes watched him stretched as something seemed to appear different with him. It was so subtle that she couldn't figure it out, however, if she knew Gods as well as she knew her father and if her abilities were actually on command, she would have guessed it easily.

"So what of you? With a lovely tail such as that and such a beautiful, and handsome, face, I would think you would be down with a female at this point, enjoying your little sight-seeing," She purred softly. Maybe it was horrible of her to egg him on, but it was a night like any other and with her lonesome heart, a little company--no matter how short--was worth everything to her.

Just a little company was all she wanted while she traveled to find the one whom would happily keep her. However, she has anticipated reactions of others when she tells them her true self.

"A big world can sometimes be small when your heart is what you follow."
