Valve is doing it again (and with this, I am certain that we will see SIX more free play weekends while they are updating each class). If you do not own Team Fortress 2, you still have a chance to play with some other members of a guild so long as you meet [minimum] system requirements: Pentium 4 @ 1.7 GHz 512MB RAM DirectX 8.0 video card with 64MB RAM Windows 2000/XP/Vista My SteamID is "SuperJawes2112", but I am currently displaying "Mr. Jawes". EDIT: Is there a free trial?I don't think they've done free trials, but expect more free weekends. Remember to get your Steam account running, and you should be able to download and update the game beforehand.

EDIT: Is there a free trial?Nah. Just Weekends. Download the Client then, and buy it for the CD-ID afterwards. My SteamID is the same as here. Do you have a Mic? I dream of the day when we form a gang of spies and become the dread of every 2fort server.

Steam Download@ Tango's remark: you cannot have a team of only one class. It is impossible to win any game type. However, a team of nine guild members sounds like a great idea...

Nah, we don't have enough people to fill a team, but a spy gang a spy gang of 3-4 people would get rid of those pesky tanking engineers.

We MIGHT be able to get nine for a weekend or over time. With everything that Valve has for Team Fortress, it's a shock that it only took $20 (or less for Orange Boxers) But if we get the people...Ace, Blues (if he ever comes back from the dead), Kaiba, Dax, Tango, Jawes. That's a potential six, meaning that we would need three more members to play for a full set. Given that we are also in a time of guild expansion, we might get three more just from guild recruiting.

A full set? I don't understand. Is it the new playstyle? I haven't been able to play it.

Nter Why did they even release it on the consoles? To make Half-Life 2 and Portal available Portal, mostly. I actually bought the PC Orange Box AFTER I had the 360 version. I ******** LOVED Team Fortress 2 on 360, but I thought that a portable version for my laptop would be nice, and modding Half-Life 2 also sounded like fun. Turned out, the XBL TF2 was virtually DEAD compared to Steam. I refine my server searches to fairly low ping and at least 5 players in game, and I STILL come up with 200+ games available to join.
