Khadgar? Is that an RP server? I stay away from any server without "RP" anywhere in its classification.
Regardless, I'll look you up on the armory.

You'd be surprised. The RP in WoW is actually very detailed, especially if you're familiar with the lore. If you want, you can make a character on my server (Scarshield Legion) and I can run you through the basics so you can see what you think of it.
Don't worry about being a low level; most RP doesn't focus on your character's level (assuming you don't get into a fight).

Generally when I seek out a roleplay I know the lore fairly well. However wow is my first warcraft game, so anything I know is what i've been told or read. The reason I like dnd for roleplaying so much is that you get to hang out with a bunch of a friends and the lore is really up to what you and dungeon master make it.

The reason I like dnd for roleplaying so much is that you get to hang out with a bunch of a friends and the lore is really up to what you and dungeon master make it. It's not true, I'm afraid. I walked into WoW RP with almost no knowledge of the lore at all. Sure, I was klunky for a while, but you find out pretty quickly that the people who play WoW aren't like those on free MMORPGs or *shudder* Xbox Live, and most of them are willing to help if you /w and just ask what they're talking about. In all honesty, the lore isn't that important - most of the RP on my server (Scarshield Legion) is based around the politics of the region and so on.
