For my stupid posts and near nonsense explinations, I hath returned once more to wreak annoyance upon you!
My subject up for the chopblock today: Marraige.
Me, personally, I don't believe in it. At all. One of my more simpler arguments against it is the odds. A comedian gave that joke. 48%, rounding that up to 50% of all marragies end in devorce. Of this statistic, I'm not sure exactly, but last I heard it was pretty high any way. Another roughly 25% of people married said that they would get a devorce if it wasn't for their religious beliefs or other factors in the relationship i.e. children, family, ect... In total thats a 75% chance of your love totally falling through, give or take 2%.
Another reason for my not agreeing with marraige is entirely religious, and therefore most likely offensive to some. Taking out religion, marriage is a legal binding contract symbolizing your love for each other. That, in itself is rather stupid to me. I mean, why do you need a piece of paper essentially saying "together forever" to prove your love for each other. Grantite, I'm only 17 and don't really much care, nor have experience with it. My second reason for disagreement is religious. Taking out the Contract part of it all it is, is a bunch of words telling you that god is in this. Me, personally, I don't believe in the invisible man. I'm more agnostic than anything else, but all the same. I don't like the ceremony of the invisible man somehow bringing two people together. So, putting them both together, its a legal binding religious contract. Yay.
But hey, this is just me.
Anyone have any thoughts and oppinions?

Well, I have a friend whose parents never divorced... only separated. Never married. (b*****d child!!)
My parents, however, divorced... and now my sisters (whose father is my stepfather) is going through divorce.
I personally thought about it... besides your very fine points listed... weddings also cost money. Lots. sweatdrop
Sadly it seems that at least one of the parties involved (the husband or the wife) want a wedding done. I didn't realize that Mr. Invisible was involved though.
