Story: The story starts with Dart, a warrior, that was out camping in the forest. 5 years ago he left his 2nd home to look for the "Black Monster" that destroyed his first home and killed both of his parents. He learns about a war that's breaking out and suddenly hears a few noises that lead him to a few soliders that were riding by. About to be attack by them a dragon appears and kills them. Now taking off and running from it he is rescued by a mysterious woman who later tells him they were attacking a village. He realizes that village is Seles his 2nd home village and quickly heads over to it. After reaching he attacks the solders there and saves the remaining villagers to learn that his childhood friend Shana is taken as prisoner by the solders. They question why shana is taken but they're all unsure.
He quickly sets out to rescue her from the hellina prison where he runs into Lavitz who becomes a close friend quickly.er they all escape the prison they head off the the castle and speak to King Albert where they agree to help defend a fort from enemy attacks. It's there that Dart finds out that he's a dragoon with Rose's help. And so the story unfolds....

Gameplay: RPG

An RPG game where you can travel in three world maps, explore towns, various maps, and join other characters that are also dragoons. The story is also really interesting and it keeps the game going.

Battle System:

Battles can be one after another or as fast as your time guage fills up. Each character has different weapons. The difference with the battle is that when you go to attack a square appears on the screen. When clicked at the right moment the skills can be executed correctly and deal full damage plus gain SP for the character. There is also "Spirit" that can be used which heals and defends. Then item/run ect...
Characters can change later on as they develop into a dragoon warrior when they gill up "SP". Dragoons can attack with weapons or use SP and summon magic. Later on when more powerful, characters can summon a Dragon to their element.

Characters:

Dart: A 23 year old man. His parents were killed by the black monster which he now hunts. He's close to shana since they grew up together but later leaves to find the monster when he became an adult. When he finds out that she's kidnapped he quickly pursues after the army to rescue her. He is the first to unlock his Dragoon spirit thanks to Rose which saves his life. He changes thanks to an item that belonged to his father Zieg (who was once a red dragoon).

Rose: A mysterious woman who saves Dart a few times over before joining him. She is a Dragoon and the eldest of the team which is why she knows more.
Mini Spoiler: She aquires a chooker which allows her to live forever so that everytime the child of God, the Moon Child is born she is to kill the child and anyone who knows or see's it.

Shana: Childhood friend of Dart the two of them are very close. She has a crush on his as well. She is the adopted daughter of Sele's mayor and is later kidnapped mysteriously without reason by an enemy army. Dart chases after to rescue her.

Another great game with a high recommendation. The story is interesting and has a few twists and turns as well as disappointments. They go in dept into the characters so you understand and like them even more. The villans like Lloyd is also pretty awesome. The graphics is wonderful especially when a chracter transforms into a dragoon....!

I thought the game was so good it deserved a sequel. I had no idea they were planning one though. Imagine what that would look like with the graphics they have now. They really should rethink it. And then again it might happen who knows?

There was even talk about a threads of Fate re make I think and that one is old. Also it seems like they're remaking most old games so far. At least the Final Fantasy ones but who knows. ^_^' I hope they do.

Yeah that one they keep turning off and on. Weird b/c they should know they'll make a TON of sales if they do make it. Maybe they're worried about something or too busy with other projects? But I really do hope they make it and for all consoles at that. They should it would be a rather huge hit since a lot of fans seem to be looking forward to it. I thought they would when I saw that trailer but was disappointed when I last heard they were going to change they're mind. >_<'
