I HAD TO CHANGE MY AVI ALMOST 10 TIMES, BECAUSE EVERYTHING I PUT TOGETHER HAD THE GREEN GLITCH.

I, surprisingly, have never had the green problem.
Maybe it's because I never wear green? No idea. ...and he is skillful in defense whose opponent does not know where to attack.

@ Shiva: Believe us. Wearing something green has nothing to do with the layering glitch (aka green glitch.)
@ Rath: I know how you feel. It happen to me too when I was planning on what my avi should wear. One time, my avi looked fine until it turned its back in Town to show the layering glitch.
Knowing how to get rid of the glitch is easy. However, the difficult part is figuring out which item or clothe cause the glitch. D:
