[it needs a title, but...whatever.] [x]
Yawning, Murmur carefully slid out of her shabby little den that she'd made herself as a teen. It was basically just a small hole in the ground, big enough for one, maybe two namrah to curl up in and sleep. There were boxes of shortening and piles of dirt, which she'd use to make mud cakes. It was really somewhat nutritious and quite filling, if you could get past the taste of dirt. She was fine with this, and so she had one for nearly every meal. Though, today, as she lazed around outside of the den, and her hunger panged at her, she didn't crave the earthy taste and grimy textures of the minerals that sat in dirt and rocks. She found this strange, she always craved dirt. She sighed, standing up and stretching, deciding to search out the taste she craved. She shook off bits of dirt from her olive green fur, and set out.

Banpaia hung upside down from a tree by his tail, his beaded hair rattling gently in the breeze. His eyes were closed tightly and his arms were folded across his chest. He always liked this time of the day. The cool air waking him up slowly at his own pace. He had the feeling that today was going to be different, hopefully not the usual kind of different, which involved being treated like a projectile and a stuffed animal, among other things.

Mumur's tail swished about lazily as she saw a grass hopper bounding away from her. She grinned cruely and pounced on it, biting it's head off and chewing. Her face contorted, though, and she twitched, spitting it out and frowning. She tossed the dead insect to the side and sulked off, looking for something better. Soon, she brightened up, though, trotting along and humming a little song to herself.
She stopped, twitching a little and looking around; sniffing at a familiar scent in the air.

Maybe he could go down to the beach today and just watch the world go by...that seemed a little too feminine, no, maybe something else. His face twisted slightly in concentration as he tried to think of something to do.
He was definately not going to go anywhere near the humans today, he didn't think he could take it without...snapping.

She sighed, flicking an ear as he stomach growled again. She trotted into a clearing in the forest and just sat there, trying to remember where she could find some chicken. She remembered the taste from the day before and she shivered, her stomach growling louder. "Oohhh..." She put her paws over her belly, frowning. Perhaps if she just stood as still as possible, something would come running along and she could eat it. That is...if her stomach didn't scare anything away.

Was that...a groan? He opened his eyes and looked down, spotting Murmur sitting in his clearing. She could surely provide some entertainment.
He let himself drop from the branch and landed nimbly on his feet in front of her. "Mornin' wo'mon," he said with a grin. "Ban'paia at your ser'vice 'gain."
He bowed. He knew he was milking it but he couldn't help himself.

She looked deep in thought when Banpaia dropped down, so deep in fact that, though she noticed there was someone in front of her, she didn't react at all until a few moments later. She jumped, yelping a little and falling back. Scrambling up, she stared at him, her ears perked. She licked her lips, "Do you have anymore chicken?"

He rolled his eyes. Women, they all had one track minds...then again so did men. Meh. Everyone else was just weird. Then again, so was he. That train of thought was confusing so he snapped back to reality. "I do, I do wo'mon. But do ya gots anodda kiss?" He grinned.

She blinked, "A kiss?" She mumbled. She blushed slightly, looking down to her stomach as it growled again, on cue. She sighed, nodding. "Yeah, I guess so." She said, shrugging.

He frowned. "Do you not wan' ta give me d'kiss? I don' wan' it if you don' wan' to give it voluntar'ily."
He may be manipulative and possessive, he thought, but he sure wasn't going to take something from her if she wasn't going to give it willingly. Maybe she didn't have feelings for him after all.

She shook her head, "Oh, I'll give it to you." She said, her tone a bit of a sassy one, "But don't think it's c'ause I like you or anything!" Her tail swished about behind her in an excited manner, "I'm just really really hungry!" She bit her lip, looking up at him pleadingly.

He smirked. "Aw. You b'breakin' mah little heart." He pretended to wipe a tear away from the corner of his eye. "I don' ask much for mah chickens."

She rolled her eyes, unimpressed. "Whatever." She said, tapping her claws impatiently. "I know you don't ask for me, just give me one and I'll do whatever you want, okay?" She said, fidgeting.
