Well I was or I still am, I don’t really know anymore. What I do know is I don’t like playing online or offline multiplayer as much as I do playing though a campaign or story mode on my own, even with friends I was never interested in multiplayer. Since I got my first console the Sega Mega Drive, I’ve been an offline gamer. I was about 6 at the time, since then I have had many more consoles. But it’s only been since the release of the 360 and ps3 I’ve played online.
This is where thing get confusing because I do like online a lot in terms of being able to talk to my friends while gaming, seeing their progress and other things like that. I just don’t enjoy playing online that much but playing on the ps3 and 360, with a small group of friends is fun but only for a short time. The only game I really played a lot on was RainbowSix Vegas and I got really good but then it got boring because there was no challenge, then I felt bad because I knew what it was like to get owned by someone who was way too good.
I can understand why games with online get better reviews then just a game that is offline games. But I get the felling that a game now is only good based on it online multiplayer aspect, like halo 3. This is my problem Halo 3 got great reviews and everyone seems to love it but when I played on it just offline it sucked. The only good part is the online but it wasn’t to me marketed like that. I was made to think the offline campaign was going to be fantastic and with everyone saying how good the game was I believed it was going to be.
The problem I have is game developer want to make money and if most people want online multiplayer that how games are going to go other wise no-one is going to buy them.

We're a rare breed I would say. I don't game online either.

I see what you are saying, I myself play online sometimes, but when Little Big Planet is released, I'm sure I will be on much more...
I agree, the online games seem to get more attention....

I simply gave up on Xbox Live. It's infested with immature little kids who like teabagging and throwing yo momma jokes and c**k insults around. They get all defensive when you tell them to shut up, and if you beat them they get mad.
I'm not a multiplayer kind of guy anyways. Most of my games are single-player.

Children here just learn all these words at once and are eager to use them... 3nodding Well yeah it's nearly always an American, who is a poor winner or loser and they also can't deal with the fact i am English, that is on xbox live. I've played on motorstorm, resistance, warhawks and mgo and not once have i been called a name, and i play on the European servers on the psn. there are no European servers for xbox live

Okay, I can see what you are saying, but your just running into all the wrong ones, I am nothing like that, non-competitive what so ever....I actualy make fun of most who are ridiculous about it....like my older brother, and sometimes my younger, but he's used to me...
