This is the place to talk about meds you have been/are on, and to ask about different meds.

Guess I'll start.
I have been on: Depakote (made me crash repeatedly) Lithium: (not much effect) Tegetrol (messed with my liver) Zyprexa: Good trank, but made me too sedated all the time. Geodon: Same as Zyprexa Prozac: psychosis Wellbutrin: psychosis Ritalin: Good stuffs Concerta: Like Ritalin but, the foam inside grossed me out.
I am now on: Ritalin: 80-100 mg/day Abilify: Just started, now on 5mg/day

Yay the guild is finally here!!!! In the past I took sinequan also called doxipin, but it made me like a zombie, gave me dry mouth, redface made me have a low sex drive and made me constipated. redface Now I take two medications; Seroquil and Neurotin. I seem to be pretty 'normal' now and my depression is far less then what it was. Also I'm not manic all the time, nor do I have racing thoughts. My philosophy is minimum amount of medication for maximum amount of effect.

I used to take those, then I stopped cuz the psych made me for some reason, and the place I was in didn't wean me, so I almost died from the withdrawl. Now! As of TODAY! I am on: Abilify (Just like H3rsh3y ^_^) 15mg (for my crazy) Trazadone: 150mg (for sleep)

Techno: I got prescribed Abilify just today!
And about the foam in concerta, half of the inside of the pill is foam. It's an extended release mechanism. How do I know this for sure? Let's just say I've seen them cut in half... ninja

I've been only on Wellbutrin for the past six years, and it just isn't cutting it anymore! I'm going to try Neurontin pretty soon hopefully. I hear it works pretty well for most bipolars.

I'm gonna sell my Trazadone. I want money. The Abilify should make me sleepy. I'm not insomniac all the time, anyway.

I hear it works pretty well for most bipolars. Well...It had zero effect on me, and they had me on the ceiling dose (2400mg) and Seroquel and Zoloft. I think its because I just decided to not let it effect me. This is when I was locked up. Never forget to take your Neurontin or your Seroquel if you take it. Neurontin gave me violent withdrawl when they just took me off without weaning me off. I thought I was going to die.

Today's my second day on Abilify. Wonder how long before it takes effect. I wasn't as insomniac as usual last night... *shrug* Supposedly one of the side effects of Zoloft is, it makes you aggressive, puts you in "kill mode." Kill mode is where you attack anything that annoys you. I've done that. Anyway, then I found a gif. Made me laugh.

I still gotta try it, because the wellbutrin just don't cut it!!!

I heard bipolars tend to have that reaction to antidepressants. I wonder if maybe it's cause I tend to be more manic to begin with....

It always surprises people that I've been on Wellbutrin. It's true, it doesn't work for most bipolars, but it helped me get by for a long time.

Hmmm... Abilify isn't making me too drowsy, but I don't feel super-manic. This might actually work!
