A high class, but not so expensive restaurante, Celestial is frequented by good spenders, people on dates, and couples in love. It is a beautiful restaurante, with wide booths for couples or large groups, and more intimate two person tables outside overlooking the garden. The garden is well tended with a small hedge maze in the middle, which couples like to take a stroll in. The middle of the hedge has a large fountain and a lovers swing.

Sara felt like a glass jewel amidst finery: beautiful, but truly fake. Had they just gone someplace cheaper, she would have felt at the top of her game.
But, she told herself, Kai thought she was wonderful. Beautiful. His beloved, as he had called her. She could learn to feel that way no matter the environment.

Shimmering Cule eyes looked at him playfully over the top of her own menu.
"I think you are pampering me to an incredible extent," she said with rolling r's. "Eet is lovely, though. And you look so smart in that outfit... I will make everyone green with envy."
And that was a promise Sara could keep.

"Hm..." Sara took him in with her eyes before contemplating what she would like. Kai had the credits, she knew... but her palate was not used to the refined things the restaurant offered. Kai had spoiled her with good food since they had begun living together, along with all the love and affection he could throw her way. She'd done her best to return everything two times over, never sure if she was successful or not. Though judging by the way he looked back at her, she was indeed.

"I think I'd like... some of the alfredo cheecken, along with a light salad and a bit of coffee afterwards. What are you getting, dearest? Make sure you spoil yourself, too."

Sara wished he would drink some himself to calm his nerves. What had him so... so...
She couldn't even place it. But something was not right, and it was beginning to worry her.

"It is lovely," she said after a few careful sips. "But why all this spoiling? Eet is like you and yet not like you at all."

Sara didn't quite believe him, but the rest of the meal went by flawlessly. They chatted, laughed as they always did, until the conversation fell into soft little words of appreciation and love. Sara sipped the last of her coffee with a sigh, feeling full and content.

"Thees was beautiful, Kai... Thank you for treating me to everything." Gentle Cule fingers wrapped around his in a tight grasp. Sara would never let go, it felt like. "I love you."

Her large Cule eyes gave him a questioning glance before she took his hand.
"Alright... but if you lose me, eet is just because you can't keep up."
Sara winked as he led her out towards the maze, none too sure if she was serious about that remark. Losing him in the maze would be fun... but Kai had a tenseness about him that had been agitating her all night. There were times when she wished she didn't have the sensitivity she did.

Sara nuzzled him under his chin, also whispering how much she loved him. Only once did she pull him into several minutes of sneaky kisses, as she was too nervous of being caught by some wandering person in the maze. The mystery of it all, though, only added to her fun.

Eventually they found their way to the very center where a swing sat. It was a lovely thing, made even more lovely because of Sara's sore kitten feet.
"Ah... so this is where all that wandering took us? I like it."
Sara swished her tail off to the side before taking a seat, inviting Kai with a little curl of her finger.

Something was happening. There was a change in his demeanor, a subtle vibe in the air... though it didn't feel dangerous. Just apprehensive.
"I feel the same way, Kai," she said, speaking his name like it was enough of a word to describe something wonderful.
"You helped me pick up all the pieces... and added some of your own. I love you, too."

Sara's eyes looked up at him as her feet gently rocked the swing back and forth just a little.
