Malaik sat at the top of a tree, looking down at the things below her. It was near empty and rocking with the wind. There wasn't another namir out that she could see, and that partial relieved her. She was finding it a lot harder than she thought it would be to talk to and trust males, even without her fear.

 Orion is seen walking towards the forest, looking for berries to eat. He sighed as he wondered if he truely will ever find a friend that isnt scared of his gruff voice. His ears flickered back and forth, keeping an ear out for anything out of the ordinary. He wanted to get way from his brother, Thunder who is a permakit. "Hello?" He had thought he sensed that someone was around... but he couldn't see where.

Malaika's ears twitched as she heard someone's voice, someone she recognized. She looked down from her branch to see Orion walking through the woods below, apparently searching for something. She wondered what it was, but didn't want to be rude by asking. So she just sat there, waiting to either be ignored or noticed.

Orion's nose had caught a scent of something or rather someone he met a while back that he like. He only merely turned his gaze upward and smiled gently. "Hello, Malaika... By yourself today?" He said while trying to get up there by jumping onto the tree trunk only to fall on his face. "OUCH!" He recovers quickly and just sat there, looking up at her. "Why don't you come down here, Malaika.. I wouldn't want you to be all lonely up there." He flicks his ears gently.

Malaika looked down at Orion and smiled softly. "Yes, I am by myself as usual," she replied before wincing at his attempt to climbs the tree. She flexed her wings and glides down to where he was, a look of concern on her face. "Are you all right?" she asked as she landed near him.

Orion looked at Malaika with a smile even though he had a big mark on his forehead where he fell. "Um.. I am quite alright..I wanted to get up to you. You shouldn't be by yourself. You are too sweet for that, Miss Malaika." He nuzzled her gently before looking at her. "I was looking for berries before you ask. hehe. Do you know any good spots for them?"

Malaika lightly laughed at Orion. "That's still not something you should put your own safety below. Being alone is something I'm learning to grow accustomed to," she bit her lip to keep from sighing there at the end. She blinked as she was nuzzled, unsure of what would be appropriate in that situation, and was relieved at the question. "Yes, I do know where some are. Would you like me to show you?"

Orion perked up with a cute smile that tagged on his lips. He nodded softly while purring gently almost like a little kitten. "Would you, please?" Suddenly his belly growled for the berries, making him blush quite deeply. ".. Like I said.. please?" He flicks his tail around gently, watching her, tilting his head. "Lonliness isn't something you should get used to..but being with someone.. You need someone in your life, Mala... I hope you don't mind me calling you mala. hehe. It is easier for me to say than say it fully." He said sheepishly.

Malaika laughed and nodded. "Sure, this way," she said before beginning to walk away. "Yes, being with someone is much better than not. And no, I don't care at all. You may call me what you wish," she turned and walked into a small part of the forest that was heavily bushed. "We're here."

Orion only smiled sheepishly once more before slowly following him. "I do believe that you smile much more when you are with someone than being alone, Mala." He trots up to be by her side before looking at the huge bush of berries. His eyes widens at the sight before moving towards it to try to get some. "MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!! Blueberries!" He does a funny face at her to try to get her to smile and laugh, loving how she is when she does laugh. "You need to smile and laugh more, Mala."

Malaika smiled as she saw Orion run past and happily eat some berries. She reached out to pick a few strawberries and was about to take a bite of one when she looked over at Orion and his silly face. She laughed some before taking a bite out of her strawberry.

Orion looked at her and then began to eat some blueberries. "See.. Aren't you happier when you got someone that makes you laugh, Mala?" He said with a wink before jumping to try to get the biggest blueberry on the top of the bush.

Malaika shrugged as she chewed on her strawberry, then swallowed it. "I suppose," She replied before putting the rest of it in her mouth. She saw him jump and jumped up herself, using her tail to swat the blueberry at him.

Orion watched her only to get hit in the nose by the blueberry. He falls backwards before catching the said blueberry. ".. Nice. hehhee. I am alright, Miss Mala." He stood up and pops it into his mouth. "You like Strawberries, hmm? I bet they are just as sweet like you." He gave her one of his best sweet smile.

Malaika swallowed her strawberry and looked at Orion with concern, about to ask how he was before he answered. "That's good, I would have felt terrible if I had hurt you." she said before glancing down at the other strawberry in her hand. "I suppose I do, and I am quite sure they are much sweeter."
