Hmm...
Cliff Richards sang the theme song, which is why they occasionally reference him.

Cliff Richard also sang Summer Holidays, so don't expect much from him lol. What do you think of the episode: Bored, if you've seen it. They're all bored even though everything is Really Interesting. Another one is the Bomb, which you'll remember if you've seen it because of the awesome ending.

There are a lot of great episodes.
I just like watching them trying to clean up or mend things. It's comedy gold.

Lmao the Lentils scene. "Oh no. There's like this teetering pile of crockery in front of the lentils, Vivian, and like it'll all fall out and break if I open the cupboard." "Easy. What we've gotta do is just open the cupboard from behind" (scene skips. Vivian is punching loads of holes in the wall with crowbar.) "Ha! Found it." (lentils start pouring out) "Oh no, Viv, the lentils are pouring everywhere!" "Get something to cath 'em then!" (Neil goes into kitchen and opens cupboard. Crockery falls out and smashes. he grabs bowl and runs back. He holds it under stream of lentils, then they stop.) "Oh. Looks like cornflakes for breakfast then." "Cornflakes for breakfast? That's disgusting Neil!"

Feels like more, dunnit?
Okay, back to the late 60's to early 70's in Britain. Ever heard of a band called the Specials?

Technically the Young Ones were 1981 and 1982...
and No, I'm not familiar with them.
Most of the SKA I know are things like... Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Kicked in The Head and to a lesser extent Rancid.

Lmao I like it. Basic British sing/shout technique on the music there. P.S. The Fine Young Cannibals were produced by the Specials frontman.
