For those of you who don't know, Soul Survivor is a Christian camp aimed at teenagers.
So I just got back today and I have to say I had an AMAZING week. God did so many amazing things - he healed my friend. Also one of our youth leaders couldn't come because his wife's mum was seriously ill. Halfway through the week he turned up with the news that she is completely better. The doctors are calling it a miracle.
However I could have lived without the mud and the rain.
Did anyone else go?

My friends went. I go to WEC camp instead, because I know most of the regulars there. If it doesn't clash with camp, Imna go next year.

Cool! I might not be able to go next year, 'cause I've just realised how much I'm doing: UBM, WEC Camp, helping at a church holiday club, going on holiday, and some other stuff. If it's on a week that I can still go, I'll try to go...

Well, I think I would have shot myself, personally. At ten or so, church camps were incredibly affective for me, but I think today I might be absolutely nauseated. In retrospect, I see the utilization of psychodrama being used as a tool of influence, and as a generally objective individual... I'd rather not have tools which I so respect and find infinitely useful in ritual... used against me.
And those damned songs...
Although I do think it would be interesting to attend and challenge the camp to have me leaving, a Christian. Second Life has tried and failed... But that's, you know... Second Life.
