 Yet another storm had rolled over the area. Forte wasn't able to reside near her river with Luna much these days. The water had gotten to high, and to rough. The threat of possible flooding was high at hand. Forte was tired, she hadn't gotten to see Liberty again for a long time, and a lot of her other friends were busy starting new families. She wondered why she and liberty weren't able to start theirs yet. Shaking her head, her black and blue mane tossed and then settled when she stopped. "No need to be down in the dumps!" She nodded, reassuring herself that things would get better soon. She stretched out, and trotted down the path. Maybe her friend caramel would be at the field like she usually was. Rounding the corner, her eyes went to where the 'tastiest' grass was, and yielded no Caramel. Forte sighed some, "I guess its back to exploring the land." She laughed. And she walked down the pathway.

 Zeda was yet again walking around in the fields near her home, it had been a rough couple of days, she flicked back her mane as she continued on her jouney, she looked up at the sky and blinks, the weather was always so predictable these days, she didnt know from one day to the next what the skies had in store for her and the ither horses that she had met, no one used to be around here and now all of a sudden people where popping up left right and center, she smirked the would all leave when they got bored.
Coming up to the area which where near the trees, she heard something trotting along slowly, like a little foal, she curiously peeped around the place until she found little prints in the floor. If there was a young one around it would not last long with some of the shady people she had been bumping into and it was not her job to put her nose in, infact any other day she ould not care but today she was feeling nice, so she followed the prints until she say a little black horse infont of her just down the pathway. She tilted her head and blinked. "what the..." she stated out of shock she had never seen one so small. At first she mistuck the little creature for a large pig or a small bear.

Forte had been peering out, trying to decide what way to go, not even noticing the female coming up behind her. It was when she heard "What the..." That she turned her head, and jumped back spooked. She panted a little, her heart beating fast. She wasn't really expecting to see a larger horse... Something like that would have been noticeable. But she quickly noticed that it was a female. Something lit up inside Forte, her first encounter with a larger female!
"You know, you shouldn't sneak up like that... Scared the living daylights out of me. I thought you were going to eat me or something." Forte laughed a little. "I take it, you've never seen one of my kind before?" She smiled some. She had same reaction from Deigo. It seemed alot of the normal sized horses never knew of their smaller counter parts.

Zeda tilted her head until she heard the comment about her eating the little horse. "I am still thinking about doing so your just bite size." she stated with a small chuckle as she shook her head wondering how she could of mistaken this little thing for something like a bear, but she must admit the way she jumped gave her a little scare aswell, but Zeda was not one to admit to that.
She once again flicked her mane which always seemed to get in her eyes, "its not safe for little ones tp be around here." She stated as she walked closer to the girl moving her head down till it was just cm away from hers her mane tickling the others nose before she snorted jumping back. 'i never knew horses could be dwarf siize...' she thought looking up at an apple tree next to them.
Yet something else to try and fuel her never ending hunger, she pulled two apples down dropping one and taking the other for herself, guessing being so little she would not have had one before, she turned the other way she didnt know why she was being kind to this one, maybe its because of her size...

Laughing nervously, as the apple rolled near her. 'bite size...' she had heard most of the jokes before, and never took much offense to them. It was kind of... endearing anyways. Her nose wiggled a little, as she nickered at the tickling feeling. "Oh thank you, apples are rather good, but as you can see I'm a little to short to retrieve them often." She looked up at the female, she was really pretty, her colorings was something to be admired. She took a bite from the apple and chewed. She remembered with Dichali showed her how to get one, and it had landed on her head.
"I'm called an Usdia." She finally stated. It was the term that her human had used for her when talking about her and her size. "Why do you say its not safe around here?" Her head tilted, she had roamed these areas for a while, and never really met anyone threatening.

Zeda looked at the little one, she was not scared, she wondered why. She had met a few odd people lately, and just like this Usdia, everyone else she seemed to be overfriendly and in a way just as talkative as ever.
"Well i am... a Zeda i dont know i dont pay attention to species or such." She stated. "And its not safe because some of the Males around here are very arrogant and rude and will make someone like yours life very misterable, no offence its just because of your.... structure." she stated thinking very carefully about the word to use she did not want to offend the stranger.
"What is a.... human?" she asked as she tilted her head, she infact has two humans but she hardly ever saw them and didnt know they had names or ven if they where that smart but they did stroke and feed her at times when she came back to the tents, but that was very rare as she liked being on her own.

Forte blinked at her and tilted her head. "If I'm correct, Zeda is your name. Forte is mine." She thought for a moment, double checking in her mind. Zeda was what her human called a normal Soquili. She herself, was a another type of Soquili. She looked up at the black bodied female. "Hm? Really? I've never had issues before... I mean, I don't think any of the regular sized males, that arree arrogant would even notice I existed." She nodded, she had heard of the demon horses, but she hadn't run into any before. She knew that Liberty would come and try to save her if anything happened. "Ah, a human? Well... I know for me, my girl take cares of me. She pampers me, and makes sure I'm safe. Do you have a human? They aren't bad... Least none of the ones my friends have are."

"I have two homes, one i have been going to for a while, only a few times, and a little while ago i met a new women as well, but i would rather not be with humans... they are too different, i can not trust them, then again i don't really trust anyone." she stated as she looked down at the little. The sun was full in the sky and a sneaky wind had picked up making some of the tree's shed a few of there leaves.
"Anyways, just be careful, i don't like people picking on those smaller of them, its just one of the rules i live by." she stated as she walked around Forte looking at her, in a way memorizing her every detail. For some reason she really liked her markings, the fact that she had never met an Usida before made her a lot more interesting.
"Oh my other human, my new one doesn't live too far from here." she stated just realizing where they actually where, she tilted her head debating wither or not to go and see her later.

Forte tilted her head at Zeda, and her ears twitched and she flicked her tail. "Is that so? Well that i think you are very lucky. But I can't change your mind. But I'm glad to hear that you live near by. " She liked this girl. She was smart too, something that Forte has a good appreciation for. "Zeda, whats your favorite thing to do?" She asked her, wanting to get to her know her a little more, but hoping she hadn't stepped over a line.

My favorite thing to do...
She thought as she tilted her head down at the little one.
"That is something i do not really think of, i mean i don't really have fun... the fact is i do not waste my time with leisure activities, i have enough things on my plat with out the added time needed to play games, or have fun, its been that way since i was a little foal, it may seen odd and sad but its what i am used to, if you are asking in general i think what i like to do best, is dream that everything is okay. To dream that i was able to actually be able to have friends... and have fun."
She stated rambling a bit as she shook her head to snap herself out of it, she had never said anything like that to anyone before and she felt a bit stupid at the moment she quickly turned that around by putting on her usual blank expression and looking up at the clouds pretending nothing had happened, and that she had kept her mouth shut.

Forte looked at her and she thought some. Her life was usually always pretty good. She was able to do the things she wanted. She never to be so concerned with other things that she wasn't able to have fun, and have friends. It really wasn't fair that this girl wasn't able too. But she didn't want to pry into her life either, since they had just met. She wished she was able to help Zeda feel more carefree... "Why do you only dream of having friends? Do you not having any?"

"its not that i can name about 4 people right now that consider me as there friends its just... i do not care for them, i do not know why i was just born with out feelings, i have never cried or ever really smiled i am just strange." she stated with a small smile, well more like a twitchy lip.
She yet again started to circle the small mare. "I did not think you will understand no one seems to, then again i dont understand how other people can be so happy because of someone else, all people are is heartache end of." she stated as she flicked her mane again i guess you could call it a nervous habit that she had.
She thought for a moment looking over her shoulder before he put her nuzzle down on the floor and started to eat some grass probably to stop herself from talking.

Forte watched her and then her her circle her. Her ears twitched and she moved to finish off the apple. "Well I have no real ambition to understand you. You are who you are. Some understanding comes with acceptance. Everyone is different." She nodded. She'd like to know what was going, but people take events in their lives differently. She wasn't going to tell her how she should feel or anything. "I think you're very interesting, and intelligent."

Zeda blinked as she looked up she had never really gotten a complement from anyone before and she liked how it felt. "Thank you and i guess you can say, you have a lot of wisdom packed into such a small package." she stated with a small chuckle as she walked over to Forte putting her nuzzle behind her head and shook her head as to tickle her.
The day was in full swing, they where bugs everwhere, from little flies and sipers, to the more beautiful creatures like butterflies and lady birds, the plants where almost glowing, and the birds and the wind seemed to be singing a melody which you could only hear from being as close to nature as a horse was, that was the wonderful thing of being a soqili freedom.
Forte made her feel to comfortable other Mares and stallions seemed to but into her life so much but Forte was so conscience of Zeda's personal space it made her feel, like this was a meeting with someone who she had met before, who knew everything about her. She smiled she had always wanted a little sister, the one she had was cruel to her very cruel at that.

She couldn't help but laugh, It wasn't even all that funny, but it was funny enough. Wisdom in a small package. She blinked as Zeda had gotten close, and she giggled even more, it tickled a a lot. Her ears twitched and she glanced up at the larger girl. A sense of relief, maybe? Surrounded them and it was as if the nature around them had just sprung to life. She was happy she was able to ease Zeda's tension around her.
Forte had stretched out a little bit, and looked up at the sky. There was something about Zeda that made Forte feel good. Maybe it was because she had intelligence. She was mature too. It was nice to engage with someone on the same level.
