~One thousand years--that's all it took to shatter the Realm of the Gods.
Under secret orders given down by the Shadow King, the demonic world of Pultis sent forth their most powerful minions, the Ghosts of Timter, and attacked the Gates of Heaven and Hell in a desperate effort to rob the gods of their power. The gods fought back with all their might and power, determined not to lose. Sadly, they have been defeated, and now the world stands on the brink of being remade into a realm where living shadows wander, hungry for blood.
The weather turns cold--storms appear as if from nowhere, and people are forced to stay in their homes, unaware of the drastic changes happening within the world of the spirits. You go to sleep each night, wondering what may be happening elsewhere within the vast world.
Awaking in a cold sweat, you look at the ceiling, horrified. Bright lights have appear all over your bedroom. The lights come together to form a fairy. She tells you what has happened within the spirit world, and that she was sent out in secret as a last resort to find you. You have been chosen by the gods--desperate and defeated--to be gifted with a powerful, magic stone and spells to control it, in order to fight the coming evil. It is up to you to find your stone and others like you--the fate of all the worlds is on your's, and your future comrade's shoulders. You must fight the Ghosts of Timter and make your way to the Realm of the Gods, now a wasteland, and restore their power, so that they might defeat the Shadow King and recreate the world as it was always ment to be.
Your journey will be perilous. You will have to watch your world slowly decay, and your family and friends attack by "unseen" monsters as you try your best to fight an enemy who is more powerful than you can ever imagine. Are you up to the challenge?~

For those who choose light....
~Each stone is unique in color, shape, and power. Each controls one of the five elements(earth/rock, air/wind, water/ice, fire/explosion, metal/iron), or gifts the user with different abilities, like levitation, telepathy, timetravel, or the ability to fly. Your power is only limited by your imagination.
Since you are human, you cannot see the Ghosts of Timter--only three are gifted with this ability. Those three will be chosen randomly (PM notification). In order to control and release your stone's power, you must use different spells--single words or a combination of words--granting you the ability to fight that which you cannot see.
According to ancient (Latin) text, these are the different spells for those of light:
abstergo : to wipe off, clean away
abundans : abundant, overflowing, abounding in
acquiro : to acquire, gain, get, obtain
adaugeo : to make greater, add, increase
aeternus eternus : eternal, everlasting, without end(ultimate spell, can only be used once in a Stonecaster's lifetime)
appareo : to become visible, appear, manifest
bis : twice
bene : melior : optime : well, better, best
brevis : short, small, brief
calamitas : calamity, misfortune, disaster
canto : to sing
carcer : prison, cell, jail, dungeon
catena : chain, fetters
cavus : hole, pit
celeriter : rapidly, quickly, swiftly, speedily
censura : judgement
cinis cineris : ashes, embers
claro : to make bright or clear, make clear in the mind
clamo : to call, shout, cry aloud, proclaim, declare
claudo (clausus) : to confine, shut up, close, blockade, besiege
cometes : comet
defendo : to defend, ward off, protect, shelter
volatilis: winged, flying / swift, rapid / fleeting, transitory
investigo : to track down, investigate
You can use many or one in order to fight your enemies--the choice is yours.

For those who choose dark....
~You have been swayed by the extravegant promises of the Shadow King. You've chosen a life in the dark in order to get what you want, whatever that may be. Your soul has been taken, and your stone, recreated. Your now have amplified abilities, which include the controling the darkness, entering one's mind, stealing away souls of the innocent, and destruction of your enemies' hometown or cities.
Because you have sold your soul to the dark world of shadows, you are now a Ghost of Timter, and can no longer see the physical world as you once did. Everything is in black, white, or grey. You are always caught in the "in-between", and cannot touch those with physical bodies. But, using your new Black Stone and twisted forms of spells known as "chants", you can harm them and the world around them.
According to ancient(Latin) text, these are the different chants for those of dark:
abeo : to digress / change / vanish, disappear
abscido : to cut off, to separate, take away
absorbeo : to swallow, gulp down, carry away, engross
abutor : to make full use of, to abuse
custos : (custodis) : guardian, keeper, watchman, attendant, guard / spy

debilito : to weaken, enervate, sap, exhaust
decoro : beautify, embellish, adorn
defetiscor (defessus) : to grow tired, weary
demens : (dementis ) : insane, mad, out of one's mind, foolish
depereo : to perish, be utterly ruined(ultimate chant can, only be used once every one hundred years)
dissimulo : to conceal, disguise, keep secret
deus : god
exuro, exussum : burn down, burn, set on fire
humo : cover with earth, bury
iucunditas : pleasure, charm
investigo : to track down, investigate
lues : plague, pestilence, calamity
lux lucis : light

Personality: Serious and thoughtful... isn't a huge talker, but comes up with interesting conversations

Then she transforms into a juggernaut that is nearly unstoppable. Many think that she becomes a completely different person as her entire speech changes. She has joined the Shadow King under the condition that her other side is suppressed. As her alternate personality hardly ever surfaces any more, she stays with the ghosts. Her intuition, matched with her air stone, gives her the ability to smell other stone holders.
Personality: Quiet, reflective, slow to anger, but then, irate, crude, and mean tempered.

Bio: Miyuki has been lost in the darkness for far too long, she can't really remember anything at all from her time before it. She vaguelly remembers the voices of a family that did there best, and empty promises, but mostly just years and years of empty darkness. She remembers a deal to let her gain the ability to see, and taking that deal...
Personality: usually quiet and serious, but gets giddy and hyper when excited, she has a bad habbit of reffering to herself in the third person and getting a little tooooo close to people for comfort.
Blackstone Power: enhanced senses other than sight(similar to a tracking hound), the ability to numb other peoples senses, minor control of electricity and static
