With the sun just rising above the horizon, it was the start of another beautiful day. The leopard stretched and yawned slightly, it had been a fitful night for him, he had barely gotten much sleep. As Rishi blinked away the sleep from his eyes, he let his gaze linger on his surroundings. It was the same as always, but he hoped, deep down, that it would changed. Another someone would make his living space more homely, and perhaps, little pawpads pitter-patter on the ground.
He blinked at his thoughts, what was he thinking? Cubs? But it would be lovely to have a family of his own to raise and care for. If he was destined to have a family, then he was destined to have one. He just hoped, that he would be as blessed. With a smile, he set forth to see what this day would bring.

Thanda had slept well that night and had got up and wandered around more then happily. She wished for a family again. She missed her children and her old mate but they had vanished and she hadn't a clue where they were. She had decided that she couldn't linger about forever and so had moved to a different area where she had found Rishi. He was without doubt her best friend now.
She returned back to where she knew he would have been sleeping looking for him.
"Rishi?"
She called out to him, his necklace he made her hanging around her neck. She loved the necklace, it was so beautiful.

Ears perked forward as Rishi heard a very familiar voice. Thanda's! Just who he was thinking about. His eyes gazed forward as he walked in the direction of her voice. It didn't take him long to spoke her, she stuck out like a sore thumb. But that made it easier for him to find her.
With a smile, he looked her over. Just to make sure she was alright, nothing was wrong. His eyes lingered on the necklace she was sporting, and he felt his spirits lift. It was comforting that she liked the necklace because he felt it suited her nicely.
"Thanda!" He looked at her, "Did you sleep well? I was just about to see if you were up and hungry?"

Thanda nodded.
"I slept very well thank you and my have you hunted for me already?" She chuckled knowing that the chances of that happening were low. Rishi hunting before she was up, not a chance!
"Yes I am hungry though if you would care to go hunting?" She knew he wouldn't have so might as well offer to go with him. Even though they hunted in very different styles it was still fun to attempt to hunt together.

The leopard was relieved to hear that, Rishi was afraid that she'd find this place uncomfortable since it was slightly different than where he had first met her. His eyes lit up, "Good, I'm glad to hear that...I had been a bit worried for a second," He shook his head, "Oh no, I didn't hunt just yet. I had wanted to check up on you first."
At her question, he nodded, "Yes, that sounds like a plan. Two heads are better than one!" He flicked his tail before turning his gaze off in the distance before he spoke, "I know there's a place not too far from here where there is a few prey to catch. Plus, it'll be easy with the two of us!" Regardless of the fact that they were two separate species, the way he saw it was that they could help each other out.

"Oh don't worry about me, I can look after myself, you know that!" She chuckled a little and nodded.
"Lead the way then! I knew you wouldn't have been hunting yet, I would have been shocked if you had!" She smiled at him and stretched her legs, they were itching to run and soon they would be.
"Come on then, I am hungry!" She chuckled and started walking ahead of him a little. "You are sooooooo sloooooooooooooow!" She teased a little. She was feeling rather playful this morning.

He grinned cheekily, sure Rishi knew that Thanda could take care of herself but that wouldn't stop him from wanting to help her out! Just like that, one second she was close to him and the next she was sprinting forward. Of course she was fast but he had forgotten just how lithe she was.
He sprang forward after her, he was more for climbing the trees than running on the flatland, but that didn't stop him from having some fun. He called out playfully, "You're aaaaa meanieeeee!" His lime eyes twinkling bright as he teased her. At least, they were heading in the right direction and that was a good thing.

Thanda just laughed as she ran. Rishi would never be able to outrun her even in these strange lands that just aren't good for her running. She loved to run though and so she was adapting to the jungle, it was taking a while but she was getting there and she was already miles ahead of Rishi.
She stopped running and laid down, yawning and waiting for him to arrive. How slow!
"Honestly can you be any slower!" she chuckled as he seemed to be getting closer.
"I could have had a nap in the time it took you to get here!" She chuckled, oh yes she was happy!

With Thanda in his view, her figure was becoming a smaller and smaller dot for Rishi. Even though she was getting away, her scent was still strong to him and he knew where she was. He couldn't always rely on sight now.
It didn't take him too much longer to catch up to her, but at that time she was already reclining on the ground, waiting for him. As he skidded to a stop, he looked over at her before shaking his head. His eyes twinkled, "Even though you're faster than me, I'm stronger than you!" He teased her playfully. Her playful attitude was surely contagious and he couldn't help himself, it was such a delight.

Thanda laughed, as he reached her.
"You keep thinking that, it's a nice deluded thought of yours!" She chuckled a little more and rolled over so she could see him better. He was a good looking leopard, such lovely colours.
She couldn't be bothered to get up now, though her stomach was telling her she wanted food she was quite comfortable just laying on the ground looking at Rishi.

As she rolled over, Rishi was tempted to turn his head slightly to follow her movements, instead he bent his head down towards her. "A deluded thought, I think not! What kind of male would I be if I wasn't strong enough to bring down food for myself and my friend!" He shook his head in mock hurt, though his face betrayed his act.
His breath was caught in his thread as he gazed at her. At this angle, looking down at her, she looked absolutely stunning. The words were just taken away from him. He was debating with himself on whether or not he should be bold enough to nuzzle her. But just as he was about to nuzzle her, his stomach growled soflty. What a way to ruin it, he mentally yelled at his stomach while he gave her a lop-sided smile, "Don't get too comfortable, or else I'll be forced to get you up!"

She just laughed at him and then came the moment of silence, it wasn't really that long and nor was it awkward in fact it was lovely. She didn't stare at him but she did look at him a lot knowing that he was staring at her. She liked knowing that it made her smile.
"Forced to get me up? I would like to see you try!" She spoke in a rather, well flirty way. Rishi was her best friend but what harm was there in flirting? She liked Rishi a lot and well if he was about to start 'moving' her then she may as well make it intersting right?
"Go on... show me." She smiled, a strange and very flirtatious smile.

His eyebrows shot up, Thanda was putting up a challenge to him? Well then, Rishi wasn't about to back down now! His tail flicked lightly as he looked at her, "Oh, I'll show you Thanda. Just you watch!"
He circled around her, trying to find the best angle for his move. The leopard didn't want to hurt Thanda, as she was rather lithe compared to his bulkier body. But he wouldn't harm her, that'd be the last thing he'd do. With his plan on mind, he circled around her once more before winking at her playfully. Two could play this game.
When he got into position, he pounced on her lightly. With her body pinned beneath his, he was counting on the fact that she'd try to wiggle free and thus, getting up. But, that didn't stop him from smiling widely and whispered triumphly, "I've got you in my paws now!"

She was amused by him wandering around her in circle after circle but she just watched him and laughed. He then pounced her and normally she would wriggle free but she knew that doing that would help him win and then he spoke. Well two could definatly play at this game.
"It seems you do have me in your paws... so what are you going to do now?" She smiled in a strange suductive way, something you wouldn't normally see from this cheetah but she liked Rishi and she had no problem flirting with him. After all he had started it at least thats what she kept telling herself to justify what it was she was doing. She was having fun with her best friend, thats what was important.

Food was almost all but forgotten as Rishi had other things on his mind. Particularly, Thanda. Her words made his face light up as he purred softly. Well, his plan had been foiled by Thanda, but it didn't matter all that much. It just means that he has to change his plan around a bit. "Hmm, I guess I do have you in my control..." He let his voice fade off mischeviously.
He bent his head close to the side of her neck as he purred softly. Gently, he reached up and started to nibble on her ear, "I don't think I need to go hunting anymore...I've caught the only prey I need." He teased her playfully.
