i hate ear infections. i used to get them constantly, so badly in fact, that i now suffer from some hearing loss because of them. turns out that inner ear infections can cause deafness.

i used to have several a year until i hit my teens, then my body changed and i stopped getting them.

The Full English i used to have several a year until i hit my teens, then my body changed and i stopped getting them. I'm the opposite... I never had one throughout my entire childhood, and now I have one so bad, the doctor was really concerned! It feels horrible, I hope it goes away soon.

Aww, get well soon Nessa & Emily! That definitely sucks...I think I remember maybe my mom used to warm up a slightly damp washcloth and put it over my ear to help it hurt less? I dunno for sure though.

I hope you guys get better soon! Ear infections must suck.. I've never had one, but I HAVE had my ear with huge amounts of pressure in them for weeks, and that was horrible enough. Best of luck with that, Nessa and Emily!

I got a tick on my neck/shoulder area sometime in my mid teens after a camping trip. We used the common method of lighting a match, blowing it out, and touching the glowing head to the tick. With luck, it persuades it to let go and back out.

I am rather mean but as i was coming out of doing one of my chemistry Alevel exams there was a girl outside crying, saying she had an ear ache. It made me laugh.
