I seriously cannot wait for this film! It looks so faithful to the source material that it almost can do no wrong. We'll just have to wait and see.
For those of you not in the know, Watchmen is set in an alternate 1985 in which there exist superheroes (albeit they're alot more like costumed vigilantes, save for Dr. Manhatten, the only one with powers but he's... complicated). These heroes have been forced into a sort of retirement but there's still one who refuses to give up the good fight, Rorschach. And when an old friend and fellow Watchmen member is murdered it's up to Rorschach to delve through the many layers of this mystery to find out who did it. It's a complex multi-layered mystery from writer Alan Moore who also wrote V for Vendetta, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, From Hell (the comics not the movies).
