As those of you who were members (and a couple of you who weren't) last year recall, the last week of October Kapow! celebrated Halloween by making the guild public, and inviting all of our non-comic friends to drop by. We had some contests, some giveaways, and a pretty fun time was had by all.
Everyone I've talked to sounds eager to give a second annual ball a try-even competing with whatever event Gaia will have planned, I believe we could put on a fun shindig.
The October Contest, once again, will be a Costume Contest open to all members of Kapow. I will put up an official announcement for it soon, in a separate thread. What I would like to open up the floor for, is to ask if anyone has ideas for anything special we can do for our guests. Are there any contests we could hold for them? Drawings? Do you have any ideas of fun games we could have take place in these forums for that week?
I would also like to open this up for members of the guild to give donations as prizes for our guests. You can donate gold, items, or talents. Last year some of our members gave away avatar edits and sig badges, and they proved to be a very appreciated prize.

Last year some of us put up avatar edit comissions as door prizes, I'd do that again.

I'm so glad I changed my mind about dressing as Patience last year. Dunno how the hell I'm going to top Go Go though. Hmmmm.

I have some REALLY good ideas for my costumes. But I won't tell! ninja
I think last year we only allowed one account per handler to enter. Should we expand that this year? People seemed to enjoy during Cosplay Days to have the option of both a male and female avatar.
